Chapter 251: He wanted to be buried beside her
Wesley was lost in thought. He remembered that the only person who made him want to live and cherish life was her. Ever since Maddy appeared into his life, he had found a purpose. However, now that she was gone, was there a need for him to live anymore? Of course, he had all the riches, but what's the use of all that when his life lacked a purpose? Like he'd promised back then, if at all his Maddy died and left him in this world, he'd definitely want to get buried alongside her on the same day. Back then, Madison just laughed it off. She just thought he was kidding and being romantic. However, what she didn't know was that Wesley meant every word he said. He wasn't the kind to joke about such things. He was very prepared for that. Fortunately, he had made a foolproof plan in case of such an emergency.
As he looked at the pretty girl in his arms, he let his tears flow freely.
"Baby, wait for me." Wesley whispered. Anyone could feel the pain in his heart as he said this. Rowan saw this and cried his eyes out, too. He was also very sad. He had just finally found his long-lost cousin, but that's what happened before they could even catch up?

"Don't cry." While Wesley was engrossed in his grief, a soft hand reached out to wipe away the tears that were streaming down his face. At first, he thought he was hallucinating, but when he took a closer look at the woman in his arms, he was shocked.
"Maddy?" Wesley couldn't believe it, so he decided to call and check.
"I'm here." Madison said weakly. She felt like everywhere on her body was hurting. She didn't know what the problem with herself was. She just knew she'd used a lot of energy to speak those few statements.
"You, you are awake?" Wesley asked with a tremor in his voice. Was there such a miracle, or was he dreaming? He pinched himself to make sure he was fully awake.
"Yes, what happened?" Madison was still confused. Instead of answering her, Wesley just hugged her. The hug was so tight that it hurt, but she didn't say anything. She could tell that something was off with Wesley.

"You will suffocate her." Grandfather suddenly said. As he said this, he looked thoughtfully at the ancient jade ring on Madison's finger and then glanced at her forehead, where a bullet had penetrated through earlier. There was no scar whatsoever. She looked very okay. Her grandfather was sure that everything had something to do with the ring. He was also sure Madison wouldn't believe it if he told her about it at such a time.
"Grandpa?" When Madison heard her grandfather's voice, she turned her head to look at him. She was still confused, so she wasn't aware of why she was there.
"I'm here." Grandpa cleared his throat and said.
"I'm so sleepy." Madison whined tiredly. Before her grandfather could say anything, she fell asleep.
"Maddy? Maddy? Wake up! Grandfather, what's happening? Why isn't she speaking anymore?" Wesley asked in a panicked voice.
