Chapter 240: The little prodigy

"Do you think something happened?" As Madison watched Wesley rush out, she asked worriedly. She was really worried that something big might have happened at the company. He had never seen Wesley lose composure to that extent before.
"I'm not sure. Maybe we should wait to hear from him? Remember he promised to call us?" Her grandpa said, as if to ease her worries. However, his other hand, which wasn't holding Madison's, was busy typing away on the phone. He couldn't tell Madison what he was doing yet. In fact, he just couldn't bear to see Madison so disturbed.
"You're right." Madison said and nodded. Her frown of worry didn't go away, though.
"You're already tired and sick. Go and sleep. I'll handle the rest." Her grandpa said. It was a painful sight to behold when he saw how weary she looked. She had been through a lot the whole day. He knew she needed to rest, lest she passed out in exhaustion.
"Okay. Goodnight, Grandpa." When she saw the worry evident in his eyes, Madison chose to heed to his advice. He was definitely genuine in expressing that.
"Goodnight."

After getting the report about what was happening in Wesley's company, the old man pondered. His grandson wouldn't be asleep by then, right? After thinking for a while, he picked up his phone and called him.
"Grandpa?" Ramon called out.
"Kid, help me do something. I'm sending you the files." The old man said before hanging up.
Ramon was speechless. The only person who had the guts to do that was his grandfather. He could only patiently wait for the files to be sent over.
After going through the files, Ramon's fighting spirit was ignited. One because the company belonged to his brother-in-law, who was Madison's boyfriend, and the second one was that it had been long since he played this game of hacking. He was mysterious existence, but number one in the hacking industry and the dark web. No one knew that it was a little kid who.always gave them a headache whenever he made an entrance to the dark web. He had to fight off any predators trying to play with his family's fortune.

Rowan took his seat in the study and focused on what he did best, coding. He knew the other person was also skilled, but could that person beat him? Maybe in their dreams. The only place Rowan showed his arrogance was in the dark web. No one could tell him what to do. And everyone who dared challenge him always ended up losing more than they could imagine. After thirty minutes of infiltrating the other person, he managed to find the problem that needed fixing about Wesley's company. His company had a weak firewall. How could he not expect to be hacked? To others, the firewall was strong, but to him, he saw it as overly weak. He was going to strengthen the firewall so no one would dare infiltrate the company ever again.
He wasn't going to ask for payment. That was the first time his grandpa had asked him a favor, and he wanted to perform to the fullest.
Wesley was racking his brains on what to do about the whole system attack. He couldn't get a hold of the renowned hackers at all. His IT team had been overpowered, and now they were helpless.
When his phone rang, he picked it up impatiently.
"What?"
"Sir, something happened!" His assistant reported.
