(Freya's POV).
"Harry!" I exclaim when I see him coming and he immediately hugs me.
"I heard Adam was discharged from the hospital. How's he doing?" he asked after he removed his hug from me.
"He's doing well. Thank you for everything," I said, "I mean it."
"We're friends, so we should help each other. Isn't that right, Stella?" he glanced at Stella with a chuckle.
"Yes, it is."
I squeezed my hands, looking at Harry with a serious expression. "Harry, I'm sorry for everything and about..."
"No," he cut me off quickly, "there's nothing to apologize for or talk about. I understand what you mean, so forget everything. And congratulations on your relationship with Devan. You're very compatible and I wish you every happiness."
"Harry," I whispered.
Since I first came here, Harry has helped me, assisted me, and made me comfortable during my time here. I knew he loved me, but I couldn't do anything to accept his feelings for me. But, I'm grateful for knowing a man like Harry.
"Don't look at me like that, Freya. I might cry," he chuckled.
I smiled. "Thank you. And I pray that you also find a woman who loves you sincerely."
"Well, I guess I should focus on my studies first," Harry said. "You're going back to New York, right?" he asked, then.
I nodded.
"Don't forget us," Harry said.
"I won't," I said with a smile. I let Harry hug me for the second time. It was a long hug that made my heart feel slashed. I felt like Harry was throwing away all his feelings for me. Letting me go without any regrets.
"Alright! Enough serious and sad talk already!" Stella suddenly burst into tears and tapped us on the shoulder. She was the one who could best hold the mood. "To celebrate Freya's return to her husband and her departure to New York. Why don't we have a party together tonight?"
"Party?" I looked at her with a furrowed brow.
"Yes, party till morning!!!" she exclaimed with more enthusiasm than Harry and I. We just looked at each other because we knew that Stella was the best at drinking. We just looked at each other because we knew that Stella was the best at drinking alcohol. And I'm sure, if she really said it until the morning, then the party would end in the morning.
"In that case, I'll talk to Devan. We can have a party and I'll get everything ready for you," I said.
"Great! I can't wait for tonight!" exclaimed Stella.
"Is Devan okay? Adam just got out of the hospital. It'll interfere with his rest," Harry commented. It seems like his relationship with Devan is still awkward. I still don't even know what they did and talked about when Devan got drunk at the bar where he used to work.
"Don't worry. Devan will be fine. I can take Adam to his grandparents' place and we can party without disturbing him," I said to Harry.
"Perfect!" exclaimed Stella.

In the afternoon, Devan picked me up after he dropped Adam off at the hotel where Devan's parents were staying. They were still here and would be back this weekend.
"Is Adam crying?" I asked after I got into the car.
"No, he's actually very happy. Dad has promised to play with him, and Adam is very enthusiastic," he said with a chuckle. He glanced at me. "Aiden will join too. I don't know why he did it."
"Oh, that's okay. It's not a serious party anyway. They just want to feel the return of our relationship and my departure to New York," I told him.
"Have you thought about what you want to prepare? Should we order my food from the restaurant? I don't want you to get too tired," Devan said as he rubbed my face.
"Dev, cooking is not something that can make me tired."
"Still. You have to prepare everything."
"I'll ask Aiden to help me, you too," I smiled widely as I looked at Devan and he smiled back.
"Anything for you, my love."
Devan helped me to shop for all the things I needed. I bought a few kilos of meat for the grill and quite a lot of alcohol and wine too, it was Devan's wish. After shopping, we returned to the apartment and got everything ready immediately.
While Adam helped me to prepare the food in the kitchen, Devan took care of everything outside the penthouse. He set up the grill by the pool, the seating, and the cutlery. We were very busy at that time.
"You know what?" Aiden spoke while glancing at Devan who was busy outside.
"Hm?"
"Hee's a lot different from four years ago," Aiden told me.
The hand that had been slicing carrots stopped when I heard what Aiden said. I looked at him curiously.
"What do you mean?"
"When he found out you left him, he often came home at night drunk. There were several times we had to take him to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. He had to be hospitalized for a few days as his condition worsened. But after getting out of the hospital, he went crazy again. Every time he got drunk, he would cry and call your name over and over again," Aiden growled, "Oh, shit! It was a really horrible moment for me because I was always overwhelmed with taking care of him. It took a few months for him to sober up and eventually start looking for you everywhere. He even hired some detectives."
I felt like I'd been hit by a boulder in the chest, so many times, that I felt claustrophobic and had trouble breathing. My eyes heated up and glazed over as I looked at the back of Devan who was busy organizing the position of the chair outside the room.
The devastation Devan felt when he lost me... I could feel it just from Aiden's story. And it made me unable to hold back my tears when I heard what Aiden said next.
"We found the body of the woman who was thought to be you, and that made Devan go crazy again. But he got back up and tried to find you. He falls a lot, but he always gets back up just to find you and bring you back to his side."
I wiped my tears with the back of my hand. That man's love was deeper than I thought.
"He loves you more than his life, Fey. And I'm happy to see you back together," Aiden said. He looked at me with a sad expression on his face when he saw me crying.
I nodded repeatedly. "I know. I know that," I said with a sob.
