(Freya's POV).
I watched as Aiden helped Adam eat. He seemed to care so much about Adam. And that makes me feel very grateful. He's always been good to me, and when I had children, he was good to Adam. I hope this all continues into the future and that there won't be any more problems for us.
"Fey," Aiden called.
"Yes?"
"Can I take Adam for a walk around the park?" Aiden asked.
"The park?"
Aiden nodded. "Yes. We'll play outside. But if you don't want to, that's fine," Aiden said. He looked sad when he said it, as did Adam who kept looking at me with his puppy eyes.
"Mom?"
I smiled at Adam who was about to whine. "Okay. But don't get tired, okay?
"Yes! Got it!" Adam immediately exclaimed. He raised both hands with a bright smile on his face.
Aiden smiled too and looked at me. "I'll take good care of her. You don't need to worry," he told me.
I knew Aiden would take good care of him, I just felt traumatized by what happened. I was afraid that something bad would happen to Adam again. But Viona was in prison so there was no way she could bother us again.
"When are you going back to New York?" Aiden asked.
"After Adam is completely healed?"
"Oh, can I stay here until you guys get back? I want to spend more time with Adam."
I was surprised to hear Aiden's words. "Then what do you do?"
Aiden chuckled. "I took a sabbatical before coming here. Besides, you guys just got back. Why not spend more time together and let me look after Adam for you?"
"Wh-what?" I gaped, surprised. "What do you mean?"
"Hey, come on. It's like a honeymoon or something. Should I make it clear in front of you?" asked Aiden. He glanced at Devan who had just come down the stairs and was walking towards us.
Devan kissed my cheek before he sat beside me and started his breakfast.
"What are you guys talking about? Why are you looking at me like that?" Devan asked.
"We were talking about your honeymoon," Aiden said.
"Aiden..." I protested.
"Honeymoon?" Devan frowned and gave me a confused look. "Your idea?" he smirked, seemingly at ease with what Aiden had said.
"No, what are you talking about," I said, nudging Devan's arm with a blush on my face. "It's still early, stop talking about things like that."
"Why? Don't you like it?" Devan teased me.
Aiden laughed crisply. "You should at least do something with all those marks on your neck," he teased.
"Aiden!!!" I exclaimed in exasperation. I glanced sharply at Devan who looked so relaxed in response to AIden's remark. It was as if he had deliberately left all the hickey marks on my body for everyone to see. That I belonged to him.
"Sorry-sorry...." he said as he raised his hands in surrender.
Devan looked at me and stroked my hair thoughtfully. "We'll discuss it again after we get to New York."
"Jeez... I'll never win against you two," I said with an irritated grunt.
It had been a very long time since I last argued with these two. Probably before I got married to Devan. Before his attitude changed towards me. We always argued about spending more time with Devan like traveling together or going on romantic dates together.
Devan does that a lot and he's a typical romantic guy, and that's probably what made me fall in love with him. Because he's the most gentle and caring man I've ever known.

After breakfast, Devan and Aiden went to the park with Adam and I went to my flower shop to take care of everything. I have to think of something for my flower shop and my studio. If I have to leave these two jobs of mine, I have to make sure that there is already something to replace them for me. And I don't want to close it down as soon as I do because it would be a waste.
"How is Adam?" asked Stella, who was busy cutting stems and flowers to make a bouquet.
"Much better than before," I told her, "thank you for coming to the hospital during Adam's illness to keep me company."
"No problem. I'm sorry that I couldn't come when Adam came home from the hospital. I have so many deadlines that I can't even move from my chair," she complained as she massaged her tense shoulders.
"Are you done?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Well, maybe?" she chuckled. "By the way, are you really going back to New York?" she asked, suddenly.
"Yes." I was silent for a few moments as I stared at the flower in my hand. "I have to go back. I've talked it over with Devan. And their parents are also coming here to see Adam. I feel very happy, Stella."
"It shows on your face." Stella smiled and came over to me. She gave me a heartfelt hug for my happiness. "I'm glad you got your happiness back. Since the first time we met, you never showed a happy smile like this. Your expression has always been flat like a robot. There is no happiness in your eyes."
"Stella..." I almost cried at her words. My eyes filled with tears. I was like a zombie with no expression and no feelings. Because I felt that my world had been destroyed and could not be repaired anymore. But Devan didn't give up and came to grab me again so that I could get out of the dark abyss that had confined me all this time.
"If you're happy I'm happy too. If I get the chance, I will go to New York to visit you," Stella said.
"I'll look forward to it," I said as I took her hand. "Um, it's about the flower shop. Can you take care of it for me? I want to give this flower shop as our parting gift?"
"Oh?! Did you mean what you just said?!" she shouted in disbelief.
"Yes." I nodded with a smile. "I hope you can take good care of this shop, Stella."
"Oh, my Freya! I love it! And thank you so much! I love you!"
I chuckled as she hugged me back cheerfully. "Me too, Stella."
"Wow! What's this celebration about?"
I blinked as I saw a man standing in the doorway of my flower shop.
