CHAPTER 97

ANNA'S POV

After having that vivid dream, and seeing who attacked me, I was scared and I was shocked I never thought that that person could do this to me. I took alot of willpower to call noah, and tell him everything and I asked him to tell Detective Rodriguez to come along too, because I was scared to do this without him being there.

Noah, called me back and told me that he'll, be coming to take, me from my house with my parents. I couldn't sleep back again, I was crying about what I just remembered and, I was unhappy about remembering this lost memory, but I was happy because we'll be able to know we're Alma is.

I was scared, but I told my parents about my recovered memories but I never told them the the person that attacked me. I was already prepared and I was waiting for Detective Rodriguez, reached over here.

I no time, we were oj our way to. Noah's house, and I texted him about our movement to that place.

“Mija, can you tell us who attacked? you're making me nervous with this suspense.” mom said to me.

“Mrs Lima, let's respect her decision besides she'll say it in a few minutes, just be patient about it.” Detective said to mom.

“Yes, s'more we'll know very soon, just relax don't stress it's not good for the baby.” dad said to mom.

The ride to Noah's, place was quiet, and we were there in no time, we were recieved by Noah's bodyguard James. Detective Rodriguez called for backup in the way, just in case things get out of hand. And they were om their way to Noah's house.

“Welcome Mr and Mrs Lima, Detective Rodriguez to my house.” uncle Rafael says to us.

“You have a lovely house as always.” mom said to him, as dad shook hands with uncle Rafael.

“You look lovely, Mrs Lima.” he replied to mom, as dad and Detective Rodriguez went inside to sit down.

“Thanks,how's Kim doing? I'm sorry I haven't been free to see her, and I'm gonna give birth any time soon.” mom said as uncle Rafael helped her come inside.

I saw Noah, and we both hugged. Everyone was sitted down. I was pressed and I was on my way to use the restroom when I someone grabbed me.

“I should've killed you, when I had the chance you slut, trobulesome just like your cheap sister, don't say anything if you don't want to lose your stupid mother and new sibling.” he said to me and left.

I was pissed and scaredat this point, I came down and I called Detective and Noah, to his uncle's study.

“I don't want to do this anymore,” i said in a scared voice.

“Anna, look at me I won't let anything okay, I'm here look at me.” Noah said to me.

“Anna, my backup is almost here, is anyone here threatening you?” Detective Rodriguez asked me.

“I don't want my mom to die, I'm scared I wish I never got my memories back, I can't handle losing anyone again.” i said and cried as Noah held me.

“Anna tell us now, who attacked you? I can help you and I promise nothing will happen to you.” Detective Rodriguez assured me with a straight face.

I looked at both of them, and I told them everything that happened the night I was attacked, and they both can't believe what I just said to them.

“Anna, are you…… are

you sure about this? about what you just said.” Noah said in a pitiful tone.

“I won't lie to you Noah, I won't lie and he's threatening to kill my mom and sibling again.” i replied to him.

“Anna, Noah, pill yourselves together, here what we're going to do” Detective Rodriguez paused as he got a message from his walkie talkie he's back up is here. “We'll go out and I'll arrest him immediately and cuff him, he can't hurt your mom.” he told me, as I looked at Noah, in a state of shock.

We all came out, from the study and I looked at everyone, Detective Rodriguez paused, as he brought out his cuff.

“How could you? How could you turn into a vicious monster that I can't recognize.” Noah said out loud.

“Noah, calm down what are you talking about?” Uncle Rafael asked him in a confused tone.

“Uncle, Tyler knows what I'm talking about, how could you?” Noah asked him again.

“Bro what are you talking about? , I didn't do. nothing.” Tyler replied to him.

“Noah, that's a grave accusation on your brother.” uncle Rafael said.

“Tyler attacked me, and he was the one that made Alma dissappear too, and he's being sending messages on the phone I got from Almas apartment.” i found the courage to say.

“You're lying I didn't do anything to her, stop lying you tramp.” Tyler said in a rage filled voice.

“I'm not lying, he threatened me but I was smart enough to record our conversation, because I I knew this might happen.” i said and plated the threatening clip of Tyler, threatening to kill my mom and sibling.

The room was silent, and Tyler's eyes was filled with rage and hatred for me. But I wasn't scared of him anymore, because I had nothing to lose, and he threatened my baby sibling.

“Tyler, how could you go this, you're a fucking disgrace to us.” Noah said to his brother.

“I've always hated you Noah, they always preferred you to me and it made me hate you, you loved me, but the more you loved me I hated you the more. I wanted to ruin your name, but that tramp saw my plan, and wanted to tell the police so I took care of her, I burned your hotel, I told Mr Ford to get your business card and I planted it at the crime scene but, you always seem to escape my plans, All my plans would've bed successful if not for her.” he said and pointed at me.

“Why, Tyler?” uncle Rafael asked his voice filled with emotion. “Why would you do all this?”

Tyler's eyes flicked to Noah, his expression filled with anger. “Because I was tired of being in the shadow of the favored son, I'll always be nothing compared to Noah, and do you know what pushed me off the rail, he was the favoured son and I hae to struggke fir the attention. Noah had everything, love,, success, respect and identity. I wanted to take it all from him.” he said to uncle Rafael.

“Tyler, who did you find out about all this? your parents never made you feel loved less, they were nice to you, why all this shame and embarrassment.” he said.

“I loved you with all my heart Tyler, you are my brother. We loved you, and never saw you as less Tyler. this isn't how family treats each other.” Noah shouted at his brother.

Tyler laughed bitterly. “Love? You call that love? they never saw me, it was always you, they never appreciated me. it was always Noah, the golden son.”

Noah stepped forward, his voice calm and firm. “Tyler, I never wanted to compete with you. I'd would've stepped back for you, if I knew you felt that way. I wanted us to be brothers supporting each other.” Noah said to Tyler.

Tyler's eyes darkened as he looked at me. “It's too late for that. she ruined my plans, she and her stupid sister. I'll get you bitch.” suddenly Tyler, pulled a gun from his jacket, and aimed it at me.

Without thinking, Noah leaped in front of me, shielding me with his body. A deafening gunshot rang out, and Noah staggered and fell to the ground, bloodstain spreading in his shirt. He fell to the ground clutching his side.

“No!, Noah.” i screamed as tears dropped from my eyes, I fell on my knees as my parents ran towards Noah, I was pressing his wounds desperately while crying.

“I said I'll protect you Anna,” Noah said and passed out.

“No Noah don't leave me, I can't live without you, Noah!” i shouted as I pressed his wound.

Detective Rodriguez lunged at Tyler, while his backup came in immediately the shot was fired, Detective Rodriguez wrestled the gun from Tyler. the gun was slided on the floor to his backup, help restrain him. but Tyler continued to struggle his eyes filled with rage and hatred.

Kim dialed 911, with shaky hands as she held her growing stomach. “We need an ambulance, there been a shooting and he's passed out. please hurry.” she said and came to Noah's side.

Uncle Rafael held Noah's, hand. “stay with me. stay with me son.” he pleaded with a pained look.

Detective Rodriguez took Tyler, away and stayed until the ambulance came and took Noah, to the hospital. I couldn't stop crying as I looked at Noah, motionless on the stretcher as they took him.

“Please save him, I don't want to lose him.” i said while dad hugged me and mom was clutching her stomach too in pain.

“Mami, what's wrong? are you okay?” i asked her as dad held her hands.

“The baby is coming.” she said in pain.

The ambulance took her too with Noah to the hospital.
