CHAPTER 84

NOAH'S POV

I called Homer, and told him to get the car ready and that we'll be leaving soon, and he told me he was gonna do just that. Five minutes later he called, and told me he was ready with the car. I walked with Jimmy to the car, and he was typing on his tablet.

“ Do you think I stand a chance ?” Jimmy asked me.

“Why do you think you're not what she likes? Look, you're every girl's dream. you get more girls than me, Jimmy.” I said to him,

“I knew you'd say that, maybe because we're friends but thanks anyways, let's just go and see Anna, she's more important than anything now.” Jimmy said to me.

“Yes, let's go and see her.” I finally said to Jimmy.

We got downstairs, and we got into the car and we started on our way to the hospital. I dialed Uncle Rafael's number and it was ringing. My mind was filled with happiness at Anna's recovery.

“Hello, Uncle Rafael,” I said to him.

“Noah, it's so good to hear from you. At this time I am just resting from finishing a meeting. Do you need anything? Is Kim okay? " uncle asked me.

“Not everything is fine, it's about Anna.” I told him.

Uncle Rafael’s voice grew serious, “What happened, Noah? Is she okay? " he asked.

“She's awake, uncle.” I told him with a happy tone.

There was a pause, from the other end of the phone, and then uncle asked, “Awake? Are you sure?”

“Yes, uncle, she's awake, her mom called me now.” I replied to him.

“Noah! My boy, that's good news! , am happy she's awake. We should celebrate this.” he said to me happily.

“Yes, I am on my way to see her immediately.” I announced it to him.

“That's good son, go and keep us posted, I'll talk to you later, give them my regards okay.” he told me.

“Okay talk to you later.” I told him and the call ended.

Jimmy looked at me and smiled, “Is it me, do you look really happy about this?” Jimmy asked me

“Jimmy, aren't you happy that Anna's awake? Come on man, we are all happy.” i replied to him.

“Okay, if you say so boss.” he says to me with a smile on his face.

Homer, took.us to the hospital in no time, we both came down looking handsome, with our sunglasses too. I walked with Jimmy, beside and I can't help but notice the looks we got from the nurses and patients alike. I wasn't in the mood to sign autographs or smile at people, I just wanted to see Anna.

When we got to her hospital room, we both saw her two friends staying by side in her bed, I took off my sunglasses looking at her interact with her friends. we got closer and Jimmy, had to go over to latoye’s side while giving her this lovey look. Anna was happy to see us, we talked for a while, she was sad that she can't remember anything. I told she should take it easy, we all will help her in anyway that we can, so she could regain her memories.

I left with Jimmy. After spending some time at the hospital, we both went back to the company. I picked up the files that I couldn't finish today. I got into the car. As Jimmy Said goodnight to me, Homer drove me to the mansion and I alighted when he parked.

“Good night sir.” he would always say to me.

“Night Homer.” I replied to him.

When I got home, Kim was already home and she was in the kitchen with Miss Agnes.

“Noah, you look happy today, did you bag another business deal?” Kim asked me.

“Yes but that's not it, Anna's awake.” I announced it to them.

“Really, nosh that's great news and happy, we should see.'' Kim said to me.

“Child, I am happy to hear that, she's a strong girl and was sure she was going to wake up, and she just proved it.”

“But she has Amnesia, she can't remember the attack and she doesn't like it.” I told them while taking bottle water from the fridge.

“She should fuss about it, it'll come back besides they're specialists that help people recover their lost memories.” Kim said to me.

While we were talking, uncle Rafael entered the living room with Tyler, they were both talking about something.

“Brother, uncle tells me about the good news.” Tyler said to me.

“Yes Bro, she's awake and just so happy to see her.” I told him while he smiled at me.

“Yes she is awake, but then she can't remember anything man, it might be temporary or permanent according to her doctor, when I met with him today before leaving.” I told Tyler.

“Look, these things take time, don't worry she'll get it sooner or later, we should just pray for her safety.” Tyler said.

“Yes, I'll have to hire security men for them, and am gonna speak with detective Rodriguez about the case today.” I told them.

“You know Noah, you're doing great and I am proud of you.” uncle Rafael said to me with kim by his side.

“She has our full support, okay, I'll be visiting her too, she's such a sweet girl, the little time I've met her.” Kim said to me.

I had dinner with my family, before going up to my bedroom to shower. I had a warm shower which helped relax my tense muscles, I dried my hair with a towel and I wore my sweatpants, I was shirtless and my hair was dripping with water, when I dialed Detective Rodriguez number it was ringing.

“Noah, it's late and I passed my office hours, you better have a good reason for this.” he Said to me in a serious tone.

“Anna's awake, she woke up from a coma today.” I told him in a curt tone.

“When today, you should've told me sooner.” she said to me in a lighter tone.

“I just did it now, I am busy , I have a company to run.” I told him.

He took a deep breath, “Look, I don't know if it's okay for me to see her and talk with her.” he told me.

“You can't know, age has selective Amnesia, she can't remember the incident or who attacked her.” I announced it to him.

“That's a huge problem, but it's all good. I'm gonna see her anyway, if it's okay with her and her family.” he said to me.

“How about the case, they guy talked and you don't believe him, even when the phone location pointed to him.'' I said to him,

“Look Noah, In this field you don't believe everything you see, people act and lie to deceive us the police, but I know he's lying he didn't attack Anna, but he killed Felix that's all we know and he's going to pay for it.” Detective said to me.

“You know what, I believe you know your job, if you say he's lying he's lying then.” I told him.

“Noah, we are closer to nabbingthis criminal. I can feel it.” he said to me.
