S2- Guilty
In a spacious, luxurious private hospital room, The Old Master lay on the bed, his face withered, his expression weary, and his eyes hollow. He had always been so proud and arrogant, unable to accept that he was now paralyzed. He refused to eat, and after two days, he could only survive on nutrition injections.

"Old Master, I beg you, please eat a bit. If you don't eat or drink like this, how can your body survive?" The butler, holding a bowl of congee, tried to feed him, but he refused to open his mouth.

The butler felt heartbroken. He had served the old master for many years, and their relationship had long exceeded the bounds of master and servant. He thought of him as a brother, a family member. Seeing him like this, he wished he could take the suffering for him.

The old man was known for his stubbornness; when he didn't want to do something, no one could force him. He was once a powerful figure, but now he had fallen to such a state, living a life worse than death.

"Old master, no matter what difficulties you faced before, they couldn't defeat you. I believe you'll get better soon. You have to believe in yourself, don't give up," the butler said, wiping his tears, offering words of encouragement.

The old man gently closed his eyes, clearly uninterested in hearing more of what the butler had to say. He may be old, but he wasn't foolish. He knew exactly what was wrong with his body. He didn't want to be a bedridden old man waiting to die. He wanted to die, but the punishment from heaven was too harsh-was there anything more miserable than being unable to live or die?

At the door, Magnus watched them, his heart twisting with pain. No matter how many wrongs the old man had committed, after all, he was the one who raised him, his grandfather. He couldn't truly hate him.

The butler turned around, seeing him, and said sadly, "Young Master, please try to talk to the old master. He refuses to eat or drink, and his body won't last much longer."

Magnus took a step forward and slowly entered the room. Seeing the old man lying there, sick and weak, completely lacking his former imposing presence, he felt a pang of sorrow. He sat by the bed, took the bowl of congee from the butler's hands, scooped a spoonful, and brought it to the old man's lips.

"You've always wanted to hold your great-grandson. If you finish this bowl of congee, I'll bring him to visit you. He's over two years old now and looks just like I did when I was little. I'll do everything I can to train him to be the heir of the Voss family, but I won't use the methods you did."

The old man's eyes suddenly opened wide, and there was a glimmer of life in his otherwise dull eyes.

"He's very mischievous and very intelligent. When he grows up, he will definitely be a better heir than me," Magnus continued, seeing the old man's reaction. "Grandpa, if you want to see him, eat it. I'll bring him to see you later."

The old man looked at him, his mouth moved slightly, and he gave a low grunt before finally opening his mouth to eat the congee.

For the old man, the most important thing was the heir to the Voss family. The butler was relieved. Thankfully, the child hadn't been aborted, and now he had become the old man's lifeline.

The old man's appetite grew, one spoonful after another, clearly eager to see his great-grandson.

Soon, the bowl was empty. The old man looked at Magnus with an anxious expression. Magnus wiped his mouth with a tissue and smiled slightly. "The Voss family owes so much to Senna. Before I bring your great-grandson to see you, I need to ask her for forgiveness. Don't worry, I'll convince her."

The old man's face immediately showed a look of shame. His eyes reddened, filled with guilt. He had been blinded by hatred in the past, seeking revenge without discretion. He owed too much to Senna and her son. Now, even if he wanted to apologize, it was too late. His eyes looked at Magnus urgently, as if silently asking him to do something for him.

Magnus's heart softened, and he gently said, "Grandpa, do you want me to apologize to her on your behalf?"

The old man nodded, blinking his eyes.

"Don't worry, I will," Magnus replied, nodding gently.

The old man's face slowly showed a sense of comfort. In his lifetime, he could finally apologize to her.

In the hospital room, Senna was resting in bed. Tobias was playing with Maxime, who was still young but already showing exceptional intelligence. He could easily make beautiful models with simple building blocks, leaving Tobias stunned.

As they were playing, unexpectedly, Mr. And Mrs. Thorne arrived.
