Chapter 60

Alpha Killian had been fighting for months. He had been leading his pack and they had fought hard and long for what seemed like an eternity. 

"We live,We die to protect our pack,"they shouted.

Finally, the enemy was defeated and Harvard was safe.But is this really the end of the war?

Alpha Killian had been given a hero’s welcome when he returned to the castle. 

"Welcome home,Alpha Killian," his pack greeted him.

He was honored and praised for his courage and bravery in his mission. 

She saw Riana from the distance and he couldn't help but look at her smile.

"Hi!"he greeted.

"Hello,"Riana smiled.

"Congratulations for being brave Alpha," she congratulated him.

"Thank you so much,Riana,"he thanked her with a sweet smile.

"Just enjoy the celebration,"Riana responded.

The celebrations lasted for days, with feasts, tournaments, and dancing in the streets. To Killian, it was as if a great weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He was finally able to rest and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Killian enjoyed the festivities, but also found solace in the quiet moments away from the crowds. He often visited the castle gardens, where he could reflect on his journey and all that he had accomplished.

The days of celebration finally came to an end, but the joy of the victory would stay with Killian forever. He had saved his kingdom and would always be remembered as a hero.

"I wanna say thank you to all my gammas out there,"he announced.

"My beloved pack,Thank you so much."

Riana had been cheering from the side lines for Alpha Killian as he and his pack fought against the group of Rogues. She was relieved when they emerged victorious from the battle, and rushed to congratulate her Alpha.

"I know i need to hate you but why I found myself proud of you?"she told herself.

Killian was overwhelmed with joy and pride at his pack's victory and at the sight of Riana. He couldn't help but feel a tug of emotion for her, even though he had already taken a new Luna, Zillah.

"Why Am I always thinking of you, Riana? Why?"he asked himself.

Riana gave Killian a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He felt his heart melt as he looked into her eyes. He wanted to stay in that moment forever, but he knew he had to pull away. He thanked her for her support and wished her well.

"Hey! Why are you thinking so deeply,Alpha?" Zillah asked him.

"Nothing,"he lied.

Zillah shook her head because she knew her Alpha thinking Riana. But actually it was just a part of all the plan she has.

"I think i need to take a rest,"Alpha Killian said goodbye to her.

"Okay,"Zillah replied coldly.

As Killian walked away, he couldn't help but feel a little bit of sadness. Even though he had chosen a different path, he still had a special place in his heart for Riana.

Riana had been in love with Alpha Killian for a long time, but he had chosen someone else -- his Luna, Zillah. 

He wasted their 10 year bond as mates because of Zillah. Riana knew she had to let him go, but it still hurt to see them together. She watched from a distance as they laughed and shared intimate moments, and each time it was like a knife to her heart.

"I thought I already forgot the love I felt for you before. I should hate and curse you but Why do I feel this way?"she asked herself.

"Hey, they might melt by your stare, Luna," Melissa teased her.

"I'm not looking at them,"she denied.

"Ohhh really,Luna?hmm!"Melissa teased her again.

Yet, Riana couldn't help but feel betrayed. She had always been there for Killian, yet he had chosen Zillah over her. Even though she was trying to move on, it was hard to accept the reality of the situation.

"The sadness and jealousy were obvious in your eyes,"Melissa told her seriously.

"Stop, Melissa,"she said, annoyed. 

"Hmmm.I'm just saying,"Melissa smiled at her.

"Whatever,"she shook her head.

Riana kept watching from afar, not wanting to interfere with their happiness. She knew that she had a right to be there, but she decided not to intrude. She was still hurt by their betrayal, but Riana also knew that she had to move on and find her own happiness with Alpha Diego.

She's still waiting for Alpha Diego's return. 

The next day, Riana received and stared at the letter from Alpha Diego, her former Alpha. She had not seen him since she had been forced to leave the pack to go back to Valentin to lead and take care of his pack after Alpha Diego sent her to her old Alpha, Killian, who had betrayed her. She had never expected to hear from him again.All they have planned is taking revenge on him.

The letter asked her to remember her plan to take revenge on Killian. She was confused at first as to why Alpha Diego would be asking this of her without even asking how she was doing.

Then it hit her. Alpha Diego was giving her an opportunity to avenge the wrongs done to her. She had been wronged by Killian, and it was time to repay the debt.

Riana felt a fire in her belly. She had been living with the shame and humiliation of Killian's actions for far too long. Now, Alpha Diego had given her the chance to take a stand.

Riana was determined to take her revenge. She thought of all the ways she could make Killian feel her wrath. She was ready for the fight.

Riana packed her things and set off for Killian's castle. She was filled with purpose and determination. Alpha Diego had given her a chance to reclaim what was rightfully hers, and she was going to take it.
