Chapter Eighty-Four: Help Me.

LOKI woke up in the morning with a headache. Now that he realized that he drank a lot last night, he regretted it. His headache was set aside when he felt an arm around his waist.

To his surprise, he immediately sat up and looked at the woman beside him. He sighed after seeing Shiloh, sleeping calmly. For a while, he thought it was another woman. He was so drank last night that he couldn’t remember everything that happened. He didn’t even know if he passed out. Lincoln might know what happen, he will ask him!

He was about to get up from the bed when Shiloh hold his hand.

“Do you feel better now?” she asked.

Confused, he didn’t answer her. Instead, he just stare at her for a while before he cleared his throat.

“Yeah… why? Did I do something weird last night?” he asked.

It was first time that she talked to him first thing in the morning. Because usually, she wasn’t talking to him until he asked her.

“You passed out, Beta Lincoln help you get in here… he said you’re love sick because of me.”

He shook his head. Damn that man, he’s talking behind his back!

“Is there anything else that he tell you?”

Shiloh remained silent for a while. Her eyes avoided his gaze and then he looked down.

“He said I should talk to you.”

His lips parted. Now he was more curious about what they talked about last night. But what he’s more curious about is the fact that she wanted to talk to him.

“What do you want to talk about?” he asked.

He tried to look calm even though his heart was beating so fast. He was so nervous, and excited at the same time. Did she remember something again? Is it him this time?

“I really can’t remember you,” she said.

He pressed his lips while looking at her. Again, his hope fell apart. Instead of showing her that it hurts for him, he smiled.

“It’s fine, you don’t need to push yourself to remember me,” he replied. “Do you still have something to say? I have to go to the bathroom now so I can start my work.”

“I can’t remember you but I know we’re mates, I can feel it.”

Again, he nodded. “Alright, it’s fine…”

He was about to leave her but Shiloh stopped him. She held his hand. And for the first time, he saw an emotion in her eyes. She looked desperate…

“I’m sorry I can’t remember you.”

A sharp pain drew in his heart. It hurts seeing her feel sorry for him. When in fact it wasn’t her fault why she couldn’t remember him.

“I want you to help me remember you,” she announced.

“I am here to help you. You know that, right?”

“It isn’t enough…”

“Shiloh, if I know how to help you—”

He wasn’t able to finish what he was saying when Shiloh kissed him on his lips. For a while, he didn’t move.

“This is what I am telling you. I want you to help me remember you by being intimate.”

With that, Loki crashed his lips against her. He couldn’t help it anymore. It has been months ever since they mated and he misses her a lot.

Shiloh was stunned for a moment, but when Loki bit her lower lip, she closed her eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she let him kiss her. And when she finally kissed him back, a glimpse of memory flashed into her mind.

““You, I chose you to be my seventh wife.”

She pulled from the kiss when she heard that.

“I am your seventh wife?” she asked.

Still couldn’t get over the kiss, Loki opened his eyes and looked at Shiloh’s eyes. His dark green eyes penetrated Shiloh’s soul.

“Yes…” He smiled. “So this is the way to make you remember everything.”

Loki bit his lower lips as he looked at her lustfully.

“I think we should do more so your memories will get back all at once—”

He was about to kiss her again but Shiloh stopped him. Her eyes narrowed.

“I can’t believe that I am just your seventh wife. Have you been a womanizer before?”

He gasped at her question then when he realized that she was jealous, he immediately shook his head.

“No, that’s not it. There’s a reason why you became my seventh wife. It’s complicated but once you remember it—”

“We can just continue our talk tonight. You still have lots of work to do today.”

“But…”

Shiloh lay back down to their bed instead of talking to him.

“We can continue now so you will remember me, our daughters and everything that you forgot—”

“You need to work, your highness.”

Loki pouted as he looked down in between his legs. He got so excited that he thought he would have it buried again in her sweet folds but he have no choice but to wait until she was ready.

Instead of aching there, he decided to go to the bathroom and take a bath to lessen the pain he was feeling. After that, he found nothing in the bed. It seems like she’s already in the other room.

He wore his clothes and then went out to see them. He was right… She’s playing with them now.

“Your highness, Lady Caroline has given birth to their first child.” The royal guard said.

He diverted his attention to him. “Was it a boy?”

“Yes, your highness.”

Loki nodded and then started walking on his way to his office. “I should go visit them later after work. Tell Beta Lincoln not to go to work today and rest up with his wife.”

“Will do, your highness.”

After the royal guard left, he continued to his office and then did his work. It was a busy day until eight in the evening.

If Shiloh didn’t knock on the door, he wouldn’t know that it’s already evening.

“Let’s visit Lady Caroline,” she said. “They are all excited with their son. I want to see the baby.”

Loki stood up and then nodded. “That’s my plan too.”

“Aren’t you starving? You haven’t eaten dinner.”

He stopped. “I am preparing to eat you tonight. Don’t you remember what you told me early this morning?” he smirked.
