Chapter Sixty-Seven: Insane.
LINCOLN didn’t waste time taking down the werewolf who attacked him. He thought that it was just one wolf, but another wolf came to him.
As he continued fighting with the werewolves, Loki was fighting with Raniel too. Raniel noticed that Lincoln went inside of the households.
“Run inside and catch the Beta!” he shouted.
Other werewolves ran inside but Loki didn't let them.
“Stop them from entering back!” Loki shouted.
The pack warriors quickly stopped them. They immediately attacked those who were trying to get back inside.
“Damn it!” Raniel attacked Loki, he howled as he lifted his hand to catch him.
He was able to catch Loki, but Loki bit his hands which made him shout. Raniel became more furious, he jumped over him while Loki caught him and threw him away.
Raniel’s body was dragged through the trees. He couldn't believe that Loki was so strong! Even with his thin body!
On the other hand, Lincoln kept on fighting with the werewolves who keep on coming. They are coming from outside which he thinks is because they saw him going in here.
When he realized that he wasn’t able to fight them all, he runs away and finds the cry of the babies. He opens each door…finding the daughters of Loki.
Until finally, he saw them!
The werewolves who are chasing him continued finding him but before they can see him, he went inside the room and took the two girls. He was about to get out of the window when he heard Amanda’s voice.
“Lincoln, wait!”
He looked back and saw Amanda. She just got out of the bathroom, full of bruises.
“What happened to you?” he asked.
“Lincoln, let me come with you, please! Just put me in prison instead of leaving me here!” she cried.
His brow arched. “Why? Did you regret going here?”
“Yes…”
He shook his head as he scoffed. If he was Loki, he would probably save Amanda. It’s not because it is Amanda, but because he’s always soft-hearted. Loki looked cold and ruthless but the truth was, he loves his people so much. Even those who committed crimes. He believes in fair justice.
“No,” he replied. “I can’t risk these children for you.”
Right before she begged for him, he finally shifted into a Lycan and then jumped out of the window
He doesn’t want to help her. What she did is unforgivable and only those who have a kind heart can forgive her. If it was just a simple sin then maybe, he can but taking children just because of her greed, that’s insane!
Loki told him to run after he got his daughters and let out a loud growl to let him know that they were safe.
He runs and runs and growl in the middle of the forest. Their plan was to make sure the girls were safe, he has to take them to the palace!
He’s near the car where he will ride back to the palace but then… when he was finally there, a group of werewolves are waiting for them.
“Do you think you can get away?” One of them asked. “Give us the girls or we will kill you?”

“IT’S already noon, where are they?” Caroline looked up at the sun that was now rising too hot.
It has been nine hours since they left but they haven’t come back. Shiloh and Caroline are now worried. They don’t have any news regarding what’s happening to them. They didn’t even know where it is.
“Let’s wait until tonight. I believe they will come back later,” she replied. “I trust Loki.”
Outside the palace, Caroline kept on walking back and forth. She didn’t know why, but she was more worried… until.
“The King Alpha is back!” One of the Royal Guard shouted.
Shiloh and Caroline quickly look in the direction where the cars are coming. And when the car stopped in front of them, Loki came out. He’s wounded, he couldn’t heal himself properly because he lost a lot of energy.
“Your highness!” Shiloh immediately caught him in her arms.
“Where are our daughters? Where’s Lincoln?” Loki asked, stuttering.
“W-what? They haven’t arrived yet…” Shiloh replied.
“What do you mean? Where’s Lincoln?” Caroline asked nervously.
“He’s not here?!”
Although he hasn’t gained back his energy, Loki tried his best to stand straight.
“We parted ways! I told him to get our daughters and run back here. He gave me a sign that they are safe!” he shouted. “Damn it, no… no! I have to go back there!”
“No, Loki! You can’t go back there in your state!” Shiloh shouted.
“B-but our daughters and Lincoln! I shouldn’t just let him go by himself!” he frustratedly yelled. “I have to save them!”
“No, go inside and rest,” Caroline said with gritted teeth. “I will go and get my husband with your daughter.”
“Caroline! That’s dangerous!” Shiloh shouted. “We’ll go there together. But first, we have to talk to the other Alphas to help us.”
Shiloh has more calm now than yesterday. She thought of it properly. There is a reason why they abducted the Princesses and that’s not to kill them. Because practically, what would they get by killing the young Princesses? Nothing. That’s why she was sure that they are safe…

Lincoln woke up after cold water was splashed on his face. As he open his eyes, he saw Raniel’s face full of bruises but he can still smile.
“I really want to kill you and send your body to the King Alpha but I don’t want you to die without suffering,” he said. “I should make you suffer first. After what your pack did to us. You killed half of my tribe.”
“Why are you doing this?” he asked, glaring at him.
“Well, for the daughters of Loki. I will make them my wife,” he chuckled. “Then they will bear a child that has royal blood. That’s a great idea, right? Our children will surely be the strongest Lycan.”
“You’re insane, Raniel!”
