Chapter Sixty-Eight: Hope.

“ALPHA Harry Payne, the Queen is here looking for you.”

Harry Payne, the Alpha of West Verlice turned his attention to Shiloh who just came inside his house.

“Her majesty.” Harry Payne lowered his head and then bowed, giving his respect.

“No need, Alpha Harry,” she stopped him. “We are in hurry. Our daughters were abducted by the Rogues in the South Verlice. King Alpha and his Beta went there to save them but things didn’t go well. Loki is wounded while Lincoln is still in the forest together with my daughters. We need your help… I know you can help us. I can guarantee that we will reward you,” she continuously said.

The West’s Alpha looked up at her and nodded. Harry Payne is one of the most generous and helpful Alpha in Verlice country. That’s why Shiloh chose to ask for help from Harry. She knows that very well because West Verlice Pack is her own pack.

“I understand, your majesty. Don’t worry, we will go there right away. I will also talk to the other Alphas to help us.”

Her teary eyes curved as she smiled. “Thank you, Harry. I will never forget this day that you helped us.”

After talking to the Queen, Harry immediately got his warriors ready to help King Alpha. This is not the first time that King Alpha Loki asked for help, but it was just the second time. He rarely asked for help because he usually get the problem done by himself. Now that he couldn’t do it, they have to help him… no matter what!

Together with his pack warrior, Alpha Harry went over to the South Verlice and went there to get Beta Lincoln. The commander of South Verlice’s soldiers is with them to guide the way…

However, after six hours of traveling from West to South Verlice’s forest, they were surprised to see that there was nothing left in the lair.

“They evacuated,” Harry Payne stated. “We must find them. I’m sure they haven’t gone far.”

Group by group, they went different ways to find them fast. They have to make it fast because the time is ticking. With each second that was passing by, there was a possibility that Lincoln and the Princesses are at risk.

“Alpha! Look over here!” One of the soldiers shouted.

Alpha Harry hurried to where the soldier said. In the ground full of dried leaves, there are drops of blood.

“It must be Lincoln’s blood. Hurry! Trace the blood!”

They continued tracing the blood until it stopped in front of a big tree.

“Where did it go?” he asked. He tried to look for it but there were no traces left.

Until he stopped and stumbled upon something. He kicked his feet and he felt there's something like wood.

He gestured his hand to make everyone stop. Then he sat down and tried to look into it. He took out the dried leaves and saw a trap door.

“Open it,” he said. Then he looked up at the commander soldier of South Verlice.

Prieto quickly nodded and then took his sword. Then he smashed it to open the lock. As soon as it unlocked, Harry opened the door and then went first. There's a ladder that they used to go down. And when they finally went down there, they saw a man-made cave. There are lightened lamps on each side which lightened the cave.

“I think they are hiding here,” he said. “Move quickly but be ready with whatever we might encounter.”

Prieto went inside first, followed by Alpha Harry. It was a long way for them until they finally heard the cry of babies.

Prieto stopped as well as Alpha Harry. He hushed them before they continued inside. When Prieto saw a werewolf, he quickly punch it in the face which led to being unconscious.

“Move quietly so no one can notice that we are here,” Alpha Harry said.

“Find the babies, once you find them, go out and run towards the highway to meet Queen Shiloh and Lady Caroline.”

They are waiting outside to make sure that no one will interrupt the plan. Prieto nodded and then looked for the babies. While Harry continued on finding Beta Lincoln.

As he opened the fourth door, he saw the leader Raniel. He was doing something with the woman beneath him!

“Who are you?!” Raniel shouted.

“Help! Please help me!” The woman shouted, it was Amanda.

“Get him!” Harry told his people.

And because Raniel is still naked, he wasn’t able to run away when one of Harry’s people, made him eat wolfsbane.

Raniel’s eyes rolled back and then he fell unconscious. They immediately tied him up. As well as the other werewolves that they plan to take to the palace.

“Please help me!” Amanda shouted.

“What are we going to do with her?” Harry asked Prieto.

“She’s a criminal. Let us take her with us and imprisoned her.”

Amanda didn’t complain when Prieto tied her up as well. She’s better to be in prison than with Raniel who’s constantly forcing her to have sex. She regretted everything. She was blind by her anger, and her want to get revenge and now he was suffering.

Lincoln was found tied up inside a small room. He was wounded and couldn’t even recognize Harry and Prieto.

After rescuing the Princesses and Lincoln, they went back to the palace. Loki was already waiting outside the palace, wearing a black robe. He’s now fully healed!

“My daughters!” Loki yelled.

He immediately run towards them and got his daughters in his arms. He couldn’t help but cry.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t able to save you!” he cried and then kissed their foreheads.

“But they are safe now,” Harry stated. “You don’t need to worry now.”

Loki looked up at Harry and then he smiled. “Thank you for saving them.”

“We barely did anything. They were exhausted and were about to get rest. It was still you, your highness. We just ended it.”

He nodded. Afterall the mess. Everything is fine now… he hopes that it will be the end.
