Chapter Sixty-Six: War Between Rogues.

SHILOH felt guilty. She was frustrated, mad, exhausted, and sad at the same time. Her mixed emotions made her say those words. She couldn’t think straight that’s why she said that.

It’s already three in the morning but she hasn’t gone to sleep. She can’t sleep thinking that her daughters are in danger, as well as the fact that Loki is mad at her.

She stopped thinking deeply when a knock made her snap.

“Come in!” she replied.

The door opened and Caroline went inside. She was in hurry, she grabbed her hand and drag her outside of their room.

“Caroline! What are you doing? Where are we going?” she asked.

She was still in shock because of her sudden move.

“They are going to the Rogues’ lair now! You should at least cheer them up. The King Alpha is mad because of what you said.”

“What—”

She wasn’t able to continue what she was about to say when they stopped outside the palace.

“Come on! Let’s go now!” Loki shouted.

She sighed upon hearing how mad Loki was.

“See?” Caroline said. “If he’s not calm, he might kill all the Rogues. Do you know that Roosevelts Lycan is one of the strongest clans of Royalty?”

“What should I do then?”

“Apologize.”

She bites her lower lip while looking at Loki. He was busy helping the soldiers pack the things that they needed. He was in hurry.

Even though her ego was eating her, she sighed and tried to be brave.

“Your highness!”

She walked towards him. Loki turned his head to her, his forehead was still wrinkled, and looked mad at her. But she didn’t mind it. All she thinks was to make him calm.

As soon as she reached him, she leaned towards him, tiptoed, and kissed him on his lips.

Everyone gasped at what she did. While Loki was stunned there, he couldn’t move.

“Whatever I said to you earlier, I’m sorry. I wasn’t in my right mind. Calm yourself before you leave…”

Loki’s eyes softened which warm her heart. Right when she was about to step back, Loki scoot her over and kissed her thoroughly.

Everyone gasped in surprise, finally, they are free from the tension they went through earlier.

Loki let go of her lips and looked at her.

“I’ll bring back our daughters, no matter what.”

Shiloh nodded. “I know you can do that.”

After that, Loki together with Lincoln and ten of the strongest warrior of his pack followed him. About ten of the middle-ranged warrior too. It is enough to fight those Rogues who tried to fool him.

About two hours of drive inside the forest. The soldiers camouflaged in the trees. Their plan was to talk to them first, If they didn’t give him his daughters, then that will be the start of their battle.

Lincoln stopped the car in front of their gate and the guard quickly run toward them.

“What are you doing here? It’s too early! Our leader is still sleeping.”

“Call him, I can’t wait to see my daughter.”

Hesitated, the guard nodded and went inside. They waited there until the leader, Raniel went out with his mad reaction.

“What the hell, Loki?! It’s just five in the morning! Can’t you wait?”

“I can’t wait knowing that my daughters are inside this lair. Surrounded by male werewolves.”

“Ha! You’ve already agreed to me yesterday? You believe me. What’s the sudden change of mind?”

“I want to search inside of your households to see if my daughters are not here, before I believe in you.”

Leader Raniel was surprised. He didn’t expect that from Loki. He thought that he already agreed to their agreement yesterday and now… this?

“No, you can’t do that!”

“Then I’m right? You are hiding my daughter?”

Raniel gritted his teeth and glared at him. His eyes turned red. Raniel is a Lycan. His father is a Roguer Lycan who runaway from South Verlice as a Royal Council because he doesn’t want the leadership of Roosevelts.

“Take them!” Raniel shouted.

The Rogue guards quickly attacked Loki and Lincoln but as soon as they attacked, an arrow shoot into each of the werewolves who attack them.

Raniel’s eyes widened.

“Those arrows have poison. Within the day, your guards will die if you can’t treat them with the medicine that I have,” Loki smirked.

“Now, give me my daughters, or let your tribe die.”

“Do you think you can beat me?” Raniel asked. Slowly, his face started to show hair, his eyes turned red, and his sharp fangs grew longer. He turned into a Lycan! “Fight me, Loki. Let’s see if a royal highness can beat a Rogue like me.”

Loki sighed. The Rogues went out of their houses. And there are more than he thought!

But he was confident. These Rogues shouldn’t be stronger than them. That’s impossible!

As Raniel attacked Loki, he glanced at Lincoln to ask him to do his own task. Loki was pushed away down to the ground as soon as Raniel attacked him.

It was painful, however, it doesn’t matter to him. He quickly stood up and waited for another attack. Raniel has a big body and its hard for him to dodge each of his attacks. He was still in his human form, he was conditioning himself.

He will just wait until Raniel got tired of attacking!

“Is this all that you can do?” he smirked. “Come on, Raniel! Bring it on!”

And because Raniel easily gets mad, he attacked Loki. The rest of his tribe attacked the Royal Warriors who attacked them. There are some that were already shot by the arrows. Half of them were injured and now the real battle began!

All of them turned into a werewolf, which made the battle bloody.

While Lincoln run inside the households where no one was left because everyone went out to battle.

He quickly run inside the biggest house where Raniel went out earlier. But before he could get inside, a werewolf attacked him.

He dodged its attack and then fights with him. That’s when he heard the cries of babies… which he knows very well that they were the Princesses.
