Chapter 65: Chapter Sixty-Five: Couldn’t Believe Her.

“BUT that’s unfair to her.” Loki opposes the suggestion of the leader.

The leader raises his brow. “Well, if you can’t agree with my demand then I won’t help you. My people here were good at finding someone. The more time that you’re not with your daughters, the more chance that they are at risk…”

“But that’s—”

Lincoln quickly bowed his head and then took his arm. “Can I talk to him first?”

The leader shrugged his shoulders. “Go ahead.”

He pulled him away from the Rogues and then talk.

“Just agree to his demand, your highness. This is not the time to think about what’s fair or unfair to Amanda. It is your daughters!”

Loki sighed. “But if we give her to them, her life would be ruined! Yes, she committed a crime but this punishment is too much. She has to bear a child and a child is not just a toy…” He explained.

“An eye for an eye, Loki. She took your children then give it to her too.”

“Still—”

“I’m sure that they won’t let us go, your highness. If you decline his offer, you know what will happen.”

Loki gritted his teeth as he glanced at the Rogues. He’s sure that there are many of them. Only these four Rogues are waiting here. Without any chance, he nodded.

“Alright, but we have to do something after this.”

He went back to the leader and talk.

“We agree to your demand,” Loki replied. Then his eyes darted behind the leader.

He saw a woman’s clothes hanging outside the house… but he chose to ignore it.

Even though he doesn’t like the idea, he chose to agree with the negotiation. They agreed to meet each other first thing the next morning…

—

“A ROYAL blood.” Raniel, the leader of the Rogues smiled while looking at the daughters of the Alpha King. “I can’t believe that they agreed to my demand. Damn, you’re right, Amanda. Your highness is a fool.”

“I told you. He almost fall into me when I shapeshifted,” she laughed. “What more to it?”

Raniel laughed and then took one of the babies.

“She will be my wife once she turns eighteen,” he said. Then look carefully at Elen.

“Why don’t you just choose me now? You need to wait for eighteen years before that.”

“This girl was still an angel. She didn’t know anything in this world. I should train her well. You…” he glanced at Amanda. “You betrayed your country, I’m sure you are capable of betraying me too.”

Amanda glared at him and then rolled her eyes. “At least I will be the Queen once we create our own pack.”

“What a setup,” he chuckled.

“I don’t even like you… you’re not my taste,” Amanda rolled her eyes.

Raniel raised his brow and then put down Elen on the crib. “Are you telling me that I don’t look good in bed?”

She didn’t reply, instead, she turned her back to him. But before she could get away from him, he pulled her hair which made her eyes widen.

“What the heck are you doing?”

“I agreed to make you my Queen, of course, you should give something in return.”

“W-what are you saying?” she asked, stuttering.

“You should also be my sex slave while I wait for my bride to turn eighteen.”

Her eyes widened but before she could complain, Raniel forcefully drag her out of the room and went inside his room.

“From now on, you’ll stay here. Remember, you can’t get pregnant.”

Now she was torn.

—

“HE said that there’s no woman living in their tribe but I definitely saw a woman’s dress,” Loki said to Lincoln while they were on the way back to the palace.

“I saw that too, that’s why I told you to agree to him. Tomorrow, we need a backup to rescue your daughters.”

“It’s good that you’re with me. My mind is clouded with the thought that my daughters are in danger… we should head back to the forest this midnight, I can’t wait for tomorrow morning.”

“If that’s what you want… but we have to plan everything before we go there.”

Loki caught the temple of his head, massaging it to relieve the pain. The whole day he was worried and mad at the same. He has never been worried like this before! And he knows that it is his fault for not thinking that this will happen.

It’s already ten in the evening. Shiloh was waiting for them when they arrived. Her worried face made him feel bad. She’s mad, but he knows that it is his fault.

“Where are my daughters?” Shiloh asked right after he went out of the car.

He sighed. “We know where they are. We just have to come up with a plan tonight and we’ll go save them at midnight.”

Shiloh started to cry in frustration. “Where are they? Why didn’t you just take them with you?”

“If we try to get them with just ourselves, then what do you think will happen to us?” he asked. “I know that you want to get our daughters back, and that’s what I want to but—”

“Are you saying that you’re afraid to risk your life for our daughters?”

His brow arched. He felt bad that it is his fault but hearing this from his own wife, this is offensive!

“I can’t believe you don’t care about me,” he replied.

Shiloh was taken aback when she heard his reply. For a moment, she realized what she said.

“Loki…”

“If we risked our lives there and they caught us or worst, kill us, then do you think we will be able to get back here and tell you where our daughters are? Their tribe was like a community. We saw the households there!” he couldn’t help shouting.

He stepped back, still couldn’t believe her.

“Loki, that’s not what I mean…”

“Don’t worry, I will save our daughter no matter what. Even though you don’t tell me, I will do it because I am their father.”
