At the Alverest Kingdom.

The Alpha king sat on his throne seemingly deep in thought. He couldn't believe Daciana had escaped from his grip.

How had she escaped, it felt rather ridiculous when he heard the news from the wolves they sent.

But then he had no choice but to believe when he tapped into their memories to see if they were lying.

Even after tapping into their memories he had tried to look for them himself but he discovered he couldn't materialize out of thin air Outside the kingdom which was a big shock to him.

Who the hell was so powerful to stop him from doing that? Even though he could do it right now as the restriction was gone he couldn't find their traces.

How the hell had a witch and a beta escaped from his gap? This was a disgrace to him and he couldn't agree to it.

But then he had no choice but to be okay with it. He didn't know if it was another witch helping them.

But from the memories he saw, no one helped them. He was even shocked to see Daciana was powerful.

Even though it was just a fragment of memory, he could feel the power Daciana had.

He could say it was on par with his or even more powerful than his.

He couldn't understand how she had gotten so powerful. Well, it was none of his business. He had to look for her.

Nothing must happen to her. Even though he knew it was his mate who had helped her get out of the pack as no one other than her knew the secret route he couldn't confront her.

She wasn't going to reveal anything to him no matter the amount of pressure he was going to use.

So the best thing for him at the moment was to calm down which seemed kind of impossible but then he had no choice but to calm down.

He had to think of a way to get her back. He was afraid she'll be walking into a trap set by her twin.

He couldn't understand why her twin was so bent on killing her.

For heaven's sake, they were twins and we're supposed to look after each other, not try to kill one another.

Well, that wasn't in his power to decide what was going to happen. All he could do at the moment was to hope that she was safe.

Furthermore, he had to pray to the moon goddess to keep her out of harm's way.

He was sure she was going to accept his prayers and help him keep her safe as she had to be kept safe.

Suddenly the Alpha king frowned as a bad premonition swept over him.

He couldn't understand how he was feeling for a moment. What the hell was happening?

He knew whatever was good to happen was just going to be simple. He had to prepare himself.

There was going to be chaos soon even though he couldn't tell who was going to be bringing the chaos.

But he could tell that the opponent was going to be a formidable one because of the way he was feeling.

He had to do something first, he had to keep his kingdom safe first.

All hope was that once Daciana finished whatever she wanted to do, she was going to come back.

Even though he had told her there was no place for her once she was gone, he didn't mean it. He only wanted her to stay.

He didn't want anything to happen to her so she was going to be able to give her child the best.

But then he had to worry less as he first had to take care of the premonition that was disturbing him.

Thinking of this, he pushed all his thoughts to the back of his mind and vanished.

Not far from the throne room, some of the guards surrounded another guard.

The guard that was being surrounded had pitch-black eyes and the aura he was emitting was otherworldly making the other guards shiver.

They knew that in a normal case, the guard was not much stronger than them.

But at the moment his strength was comparable to that of alpha and they could barely hold him back.

All they could hope was that the reinforcement they had called for would arrive soon.

Suddenly a figure appeared at the scene, it was the Alpha king, he felt something unnatural was going on and appeared at the place.

The guards immediately turned around when they felt another presence to see it was the Alpha King.

Immediately they bowed politely. The Aloha king ignored them and walked over to the guard who was surrounded previously with a frown on his face.

Getting to the guard the Alpha king directly released his aura causing the man to be unable to resist it.

But soon he was able to shake it off and rushed at the Alpha king.

"This is quite interesting." The Alpha king smiled and directly knocked out the guard.

"Tie him up and make sure to report if there's any case like him." The alpha king said and disappeared before the guards could reply.

"What the hell is happening?" He muttered.

"Mind control and it was rather strong that the other party was able to brush off my aura."

The Alpha king knew it was the work of a witch, but he didn't know which witch was it as he had never offended one.

Thinking about this, he disappeared again heading to where God knows.

The Alverest Kingdom was partially in a state of chaos at the moment as many guards' eyes suddenly began to turn pitch black and their strength suddenly soared.

They would then attack their comrades aiming for their lives.

The Alpha king quickly learned of what was happening. He couldn't stop all of them at the same time and had to think of a solution.

It was worse Outside the palace as houses were burnt and people were running Helter skelter.

Some of the people had pitch-black eyes and they chased the others.

The Alpha king shook his head at what was happening as he was quite helpless against it.

He knew it was the work of a witch and couldn't wait for the witch to show herself.

Inside Queen Ana's room, the head maid who was taking care of Bryan suddenly froze.

Her eyes turned pitch black and she walked towards Bryan with a murderous look.

The queen wasn't in the room so she left Bryan to the head maid.

Just when the maid got to the child, he was so scared that he began to wail loudly but the maid could care less and moved towards the child preparing to strangle him.

"What the hell are you doing?" A voice thundered when the maid was only an inch away from strangling the child.
