Chapter 223
WRITER'S POV
-----
Laura smiled as walked around. She could see the fear in the eyes of her subjects as she walked.
All she had now was a result of her hard work. If she hadn't planned for so many years she wouldn't have been able to achieve anything.
She must thank the werewolves once again for making her where she was.
Suddenly a finger landed on her shoulders. Laura stroked the bird affectionately.
After some time the bird spread its wings and flew away.
"It's about time, we are going to finally begin. Get ready for my wrath," Laura muttered as a smirk spread.
Once the general came back with the people from the sky pack she was going to launch her attack on the Alverest Kingdom.
No one was capable of stopping her right now. She was sure to win if nothing else came up.
Right now more than half of the Alverest Kingdom soldiers were under her control.
Even the soldiers themselves didn't know they were being controlled.
All she needed to do was to activate the spell and they would listen to her command without any qualms.
The feeling was great and she couldn't help but chuckle when she thought about it.
She couldn't wait but she had no choice but to be patient. All her hard work would go down the drain if she wasn't patient.
She couldn't wait to see the expression of the werewolves when she beat their Alpha into submission.
Well, she had to make some preparation first, thinking about this Laura smiled.
Her smile sent shivers down the spine of the people who were present as they felt that whatever she was planning wasn't good.
Laura could care less about the expression of her subjects and directly disappeared.
Appearing back in her room Laura looked around. Stamping the floor, the ground shook and a person wrapped in ice appeared.
This was no doubt Dorian who was trapped inside Laura's ice. He looked like he was having a peaceful sleep and there even seemed to be a smile on his face.
"Don't worry Dorian, I'll take revenge for you soon," Laura smiled looking at Dorian on the ice while her eyes were brimming with tears.
She was still going to lay the blame on the Alpha king as he was the cause of all that had happened to Dorian.
If he hadn't taken hold of his mate, Dorian wouldn't have gone ahead to fight him and wouldn't have gotten beaten.
Then she wouldn't have punished him, making him go to slumber. Even her was unsure when he was going to wake up.
She didn't know if the slumber Dorian was in was a curse to her but she could care less.
Once she had taken her revenge she was good to focus on how to wake Dorian from his slumber.
"My lady, may I come in?" A voice sounded at the door disrupting Laura's thoughts.
Hearing the voice, Laura smiled as she didn't expect the general to be back so quickly.
"Wait a minute," Laura frowned as she stamped her foot on the floor and the ice sculpture went back into the ground.
"Come in!" She said calmly after the ice sculpture was swallowed completely into the ground.
The door opened to reveal a worn-out general, even though they had caught the Alpha of the sky pack quite easily, the journey still took a toll on him.
My lady, we are back with the members of the sky pack." The general bowed as he reported.
Laura nodded calmly looking at the general. It was time, chaos was going to be unloaded the next morning.
"Mobilize the troops, we are going for an expedition..."
"Kill anyone who refuses to obey your order even if it's the Alpha of the sky packs," Laura smirked.
The general shivered unconsciously when he saw Laura's smirk and bowed.
It couldn't be what he was thinking that she was planning on doing. She might call in an expedition but it was just a suicide mission they were going to.
If he wasn't wrong they were going to attack the Alverest Kingdom. He knew how powerful Laura was even though he didn't know how powerful the Alpha king was.
But then he had a premonition that something was wrong. Tomorrow was going to be bloodshed.
A day the werewolves weren't going to forget. A day that would surely go down into history.
"Yeah, my lady." The general replied and retreated out of the room quickly.
"Alpha king or whatever you call yourself, get ready for me tomorrow, you wouldn't expect what's going to happen right?" Laura smiled looking at the dark sky.
Dawn was approaching and she could ask nothing more than for it to approach faster as She was going to dye the sky red with the werewolf's blood just like she had promised.
It was time for her ultimate revenge. Thinking about this, Laura pushed all thoughts to the back of her mind and sat cross-legged.
Soon she began to chant some inaudible words. Suddenly the temperature of the room dropped as she continued chanting.
Not far from where Laura was chanting were the members of the Sky pack.
Other than the soldiers the general was picking out men who looked strong enough to be able to fight.
Even though the men didn't dare disobey his orders they had a hint of unwillingness in their eyes.
Their alpha had already given up a long time ago so there was no need to have the thought of wanting to fight back.
It was just impossible. Suddenly, the atmosphere became cold, it was so cold that the men began to shiver.
The cold was sipping into their bones and their brains.
Soon the colors of their eyes changed before they reverted to normal.
The men who had a kind of unwillingness in their eyes earlier didn't have it again.
They were all under Laura's control and had long lost the chance to choose.
-----
Laura smiled as she opened her eyes. The spell was a success. Even though she felt it might fail as it was too hard she didn't expect to succeed so easily.
The feeling was rather great. But then it didn't end there, there was more work to do so she closed her hands and began to chant again.
