ANGEL'S POV

Fighting for love is a tricky business. It can be all-consuming, making you lose sight of the things that once mattered. I found myself in this predicament when I fell in love with Leo, the lycan of our pack. Every thought and every action was consumed by him and the pack. It wasn't long before I realized that my job was suffering, and I couldn't bring myself to care.

Days passed, and I avoided the pack house, too busy with work and thoughts of Leo. But I couldn't stay away forever. The pack was my responsibility, and Leo was my heart. So, with a heavy heart, I left work and headed to the packing house.

As I walked, my mind raced with thoughts of what could be going on without me. My parents had already started calling me Luna, assuming that I was with Leo. But I couldn't let them down. I had to make sure everything was in order before I could let myself lose everything.

Upon reaching the pack house, I could sense that something was off. My wolf was uneasy, and my heart was pounding with fear. I needed to see Leo to know that he was okay and that everything was still in order.

But as I made my way through the halls, I realized that things were not as I had left them. The pack was in chaos, and it was all because of me. My obsession with Leo had made me blind to everything else, and now I was paying the price.

With a heavy heart, I approached Leo, knowing that I had to come clean about everything. I couldn't keep pretending that everything was okay when it wasn't. As I stood before him, my heart pounding with fear, I confessed everything.

"I haven't been focused on my job because of you and the pack." "I couldn't bring myself to lose anything at all," I said, tears streaming down my face.

Leo listened carefully, his expression unreadable. For a moment, I thought he was going to be angry, but then he spoke.

"I understand why you did what you did. But you can't let your love for me and the pack consume you. You have to find a balance between your work and your personal life. "If you don't, you'll lose both," he said, his voice soft but firm.

I nodded, knowing that he was right. I couldn't keep ignoring my responsibilities and my health for the sake of my love for Leo and the pack. I needed to find a way to balance everything to make sure that I didn't lose anything.

Leo's embrace was like a warm cocoon, shielding me from the cold winds of life. His words were like sweet music to my ears, promising me that everything would be alright in no time. It was a moment that I wished would never end, a moment that I wished I could stay in forever.

But just as quickly as my happiness came, it was rudely interrupted by the presence of Brandon. His arrival cast a dark shadow over my blissful moment, and his cold gaze made me feel like an intruder in my own happiness.

I couldn't understand why he had such animosity toward me. I had never done anything to him, and yet he acted as if we were mortal enemies. Perhaps it was my natural attraction to him that he mistook for something else. Whatever it was, I knew that I couldn't let it get to me. I had bigger fish to fry.

Leo was mine, and nothing and no one could come between us. not even Brandon and his petty grudges. If he was siding with Gigi, then he was fighting a losing battle. Leo was the lycan, and I was his Luna. No one could take that away from me.

As Brandon left without so much as a smile, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He may have been part of Leo's family, but he was nothing more than a slave. He may have thought that his loyalty to Leo would earn him some sort of favor, but the reality was that he was just a pawn in Leo's game.

I turned to Leo, still feeling a bit uneasy about Brandon's behavior. I asked him why Brandon was acting that way towards me, hoping that he would shed some light on the situation. But Leo just shrugged it off, saying that maybe Brandon was just not in the mood to talk.

I knew that there was more to it than that, but I also knew that there was no use in dwelling on it. I had more important things to worry about, like being the best Luna I could be for Leo. I had to focus on our bond and make sure that nothing could come between us.

Leo massaged my back, and it sent shivers down my spine. His expression was one of worry, and I didn't like it. But I knew better than to ask him what was wrong. Leo was a man who loved keeping secrets, even from me, his lover. So I turned his face towards mine and kissed him, hoping to ease his worries.

At first, Leo seemed uninterested, but I persisted, knowing that it would eventually turn him on. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer, his hands exploring my body as he massaged my ass. I had not intended for things to go this far, but I couldn't resist him either.

He lifted me up and carried me to the bed, where he slowly undressed me. I felt his kisses all over my body, from my head to my hole, until he finally entered me, hard and intense.

I moaned loudly, urging him to continue. "Yes, fuck me until I die," I whispered, feeling his energy intensify with each breath. It had been days since we last had sex, and I was craving his touch like never before.

As he thrust deeper and harder, I felt my body reach its climax. And when it finally came, he spread his white substance all over me, leaving me feeling euphoric and satisfied.

But it wasn't just the physical pleasure that made me happy. It was the fact that Leo was lying on my chest, sleeping soundly like a baby. I felt content and at peace, knowing that I had him by my side.

"This is what I want forever," I thought to myself. "I will do whatever it takes to keep this love alive, and I won't let anyone come between us."

I knew that there would be challenges ahead, but I was ready to face them head-on.

As I lay there, drifting off into a light slumber, I could feel the unease settling into my bones like a bad omen. It was as if something was amiss—something that was just beyond my grasp. I had a restless sleep that night, tossing and turning as my mind refused to shut down. And then, suddenly, I was plunged into a deep, dreamless sleep.

It was only when I woke up that I realized that something was terribly wrong. The first thing I noticed was that Leo wasn't beside me. I searched the room, but he was nowhere to be found. I waited for a few hours, hoping that he would return, but he didn't. The longer he was gone, the more worried I became.

I was trapped in the room, unable to leave or even call for help. The people around me hated me for reasons that were beyond my understanding, and I was completely helpless. As the hours ticked by, my hunger grew more pronounced. I needed food, but I couldn't leave the room to get it. I felt like I was slowly being consumed by my own helplessness.

As the night deepened, my anxiety grew. I couldn't tell if Leo was alive or dead, and the uncertainty was driving me mad. I tried to sleep, but my hunger kept me awake. I lay there, listening to the sounds of the night, waiting for Leo's return.

And then I heard a sound. It was a footstep coming towards the room. My heart leapt with hope. Was it Leo? Had he finally returned? But as the footsteps drew nearer, I realized that they were too heavy to be his. Whoever was coming towards the room was not someone I knew.

I held my breath as the footsteps drew nearer, and then suddenly they disappeared. For a moment, there was silence, and then the footsteps came back, louder than ever. I had no idea who was outside the door, but I knew that I was in trouble.

As the door slowly creaked open, I braced myself for the worst. But instead of danger, I found Leo standing there, looking at me with a mixture of concern and relief. He had been out all night, trying to find me something to eat, and he had finally succeeded.

"So that's the best excuse that you can give?" Since afternoon you left, and it's because of food?
