LEO'S POV
My mind was consumed with thoughts of my pack and the war we were facing. The last thing I needed was Angel's endless questions about trivial matters. I had just returned from a gruesome scene that had left me emotionally drained. Our pack was under attack, and the casualties were mounting. The sight of young wolves crying in agony was etched in my mind, and I couldn't shake it off.
Angel had been cooped up inside for far too long, oblivious to the chaos outside. Her questions were like daggers, piercing through my already troubled mind. I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to focus on finding a solution to this war, not on love or food.
The Moon Goddess had remained silent, and I was running out of ideas. My people were counting on me, and I couldn't afford to let them down. Brandon, my trusted lieutenant, was still recovering from his injuries, and I couldn't risk sending him into battle. We were outnumbered, but I knew that we had one thing that our enemies lacked: a fierce determination to protect our pack at all costs.
As Angel continued to talk, I felt a spark of anger igniting within me. How could she be so oblivious to what was happening around us? Didn't she understand the gravity of the situation? But then again, why should she? She wasn't my Luna yet, and she didn't have to worry about the safety of her pack. Her concerns were centered around trivial matters like food and companionship.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. I couldn't let my emotions get the best of me. I needed to focus on finding a solution to this war. I knew that I had to act fast before it was too late. The longer we waited, the more casualties we would suffer.
I looked at Angel, who was still talking. She seemed to notice my mood and stopped mid-sentence. "Is everything okay?" she asked, concern etched on her face.
"I just need some rest," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "I have a lot on my mind right now, and I need to focus on finding a solution to this war."
Angel nodded understandingly, and I could see the worry in her eyes. I knew that she cared for me, but I couldn't afford to let my emotions cloud my judgment. Our pack was at stake, and I couldn't let my personal feelings get in the way.
I got up from my seat and headed towards the door. "I'm going out for a walk," I said, not bothering to look back.
As I stepped out into the cool night air, I felt a sense of clarity wash over me. I knew that I had to act fast if we were to win this war. Our enemies may have thought that they were winning, but they had no idea what we were capable of. I was determined to protect my pack at all costs, and I would do whatever it took to make sure that they were safe.
I walked for what seemed like hours, my mind consumed with thoughts of our pack and the war we were facing. As I looked up at the bright full moon, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew that no matter how tough the road ahead might be, we would emerge victorious.
The thought of our pack's victory filled me with renewed energy, and I headed back towards our den. As I stepped inside, I could see the worry etched on Angel's face. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I'm fine," I said, my voice filled with confidence. "We're going to win this war, Angel." "We're going to protect our pack, no matter what it takes."
Angel smiled, giving us a glimmer of hope as we went back to sleep.
The morning sun rose lazily above the horizon, painting the sky with hues of pink and gold. As the world around me stirred into motion, I too woke up from my slumber and headed to the bathroom to start my day.
Angel, my companion, was still fast asleep when I entered the bathroom, but I knew that we had a lot to do today, so I gently roused her from her slumber. She quickly sprang to her feet and dashed into the shower, eager to begin her day as well.
Minutes later, Angel emerged from the bathroom, fresh and ready to tackle the day ahead. I led her out of the room and made my way towards Gigi's quarters, calling out to her to get ready for training.
Gigi, however, was not as eager to start her day as Angel had been. She seemed disinterested, unprepared, and lacking in the drive that was needed for our line of work. But I was not in a joking mood today; I needed everyone to be on their toes.
Our enemies were lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. We could not afford to be complacent. So, I pushed Gigi to get ready, threatening to punish her severely if she didn't get her act together.
With fear etched on her face, Gigi quickly got dressed and made her way to the training ground. I could see that she was nervous, but I had no time for that. I needed her to be focused, and I needed her to give it her all.
As we began our training session, I was surprised to discover that Gigi had been learning all along. However, she needed to work harder on her body, which she didn't seem interested in doing because of her love for food.
Frustration began to boil within me, and before I knew it, I had kicked her so hard that she fell to the ground. I threatened to slice her throat with my sword if she didn't get up and continue the training.
Gigi got up, but she was in pain, and it was clear that she was struggling to keep up. I kicked her again, and she began to cry. I was relentless, pushing her to stand up, until I noticed Brandon watching us from a corner.
At that moment, I stopped pushing Gigi and left her to recover. My anger had gotten the best of me, and I knew that I needed to calm down before I continued with the training session.
As I walked towards Brandon, I wondered what he had seen. Had he seen me lose control and lash out at Gigi, or had he seen something else entirely? Only time would tell.
"Follow me," I said to Brandon, my loyal apprentice. There were serious issues at hand that needed our attention. He nodded and trailed behind me. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease in the pit of my stomach. The war had started hitting us differently, and I knew we needed to act fast if we were to prevent our pack from being taken over by our enemies.
"Master, I think you should take it easy with Gigi," Brandon said, interrupting my thoughts. He looked at me with a concerned expression. "She could break her bones training and get disfigured after."
I brushed off his worries, assuring him that nothing would happen to Gigi. She needed to get stronger, as she was weak, and also needed to reduce. But Brandon wasn't seeing it from my angle. I urged him to forget about it and focus on the situation at hand.
"Have you spoken to the moon goddess?" he asked me.
I shook my head. "No, she refused to answer me," I replied, my voice low. "I don't know what my offense is, but she should have at least told me the next step to take or what I have done wrong."
The moon goddess was our guide and protector, and her refusal to answer me was a worrying sign. I couldn't help but wonder what I had done wrong.
"Everything will be fine, master," Brandon reassured me. He was already getting stronger from his sickness, and I was happy about that because it was time to do wonders.
We arrived at a secluded spot, away from prying eyes and ears. It was here that we could talk freely and come up with a plan to save our pack. Brandon and I sat down, and I began to explain the gravity of the situation.
"The war has taken a different turn," I said, my voice grave. "Our enemies have become more aggressive, and we are losing ground." "We need to act fast if we are to prevent them from taking over our pack."
Brandon nodded, his eyes serious. "What do you suggest we do, master?"
I paused, thinking carefully. "We need to gather our strongest warriors and plan an attack." We cannot sit back and wait for them to come to us. "We need to take the fight to them."
Brandon looked at me, his expression one of determination. "I'm with you, master." "Let's do this."
With that, we began to make plans, strategize, and come up with a plan of attack. The fate of our pack rested on our shoulders, and failure was not an option.
