LEO'S POV

As I confided in Brandon, I could feel the weight of my thoughts being lifted. His expression betrayed a hint of delight but also a flicker of concern when I brought up the idea of making Angel my daughter.

He was thrilled because I had resolved to personally train Gigi, my pack member, to defend herself. I was determined to instill in her the power to protect herself without having to rely on anyone else. I didn't want her to suffer the same fate as others who had carelessly ventured into dangerous territories and ended up paying with their lives.

Gigi had infuriated me with her reckless behavior, leaving the safety of the pack house to wander into a nearby bush where rogue wolves lurked, waiting for their next victim. I couldn't bear the thought of her betraying the trust of the Moon Goddess, who had bestowed upon us the responsibility to safeguard our kind.

"She's trying to malign my reputation with the Moon Goddess, and I won't stand for it," I declared to Brandon, my voice fierce with determination.

But my anger was compounded by the fact that my own sisters were supporting Gigi in her foolishness. It was a bitter pill to swallow, and I found myself seething with resentment.

"Master, don't worry." "I believe Gigi has learned her lesson and won't repeat her mistake," Brandon reassured me, his tone cool and composed.

Despite his calming words, I couldn't help but reminisce about the tribulations we had endured in the past. The memories were still fresh in my mind, and I was determined to take revenge on those who had wronged us. I wanted to conquer the rival pack, make them all my slaves, and revel in the satisfaction of having emerged victorious.

To my surprise, Brandon shared my enthusiasm for vengeance. His smile widened, and he nodded his head in agreement. It was comforting to know that I had an ally in my quest for retribution.

As I contemplated my plans, I felt a sense of renewed vigor surging through me. I knew that the road ahead would be fraught with danger and challenges, but I was ready to face them head-on.

The moon goddess had bestowed upon us the power and responsibility to protect our pack, and I was determined to fulfill that duty at all costs.

As I sat there, trying to collect my thoughts, I couldn't help but think that life was unfair. It seemed like every time I turned around, something else was happening. And this time, it was something tragic.

The noise outside had interrupted our conversation, and I had heard my sisters running out. I had tried to keep Brandon inside, but he was too weak to stand for long, so I had gone out alone. As soon as I reached there, I could see the devastation on their faces. They were crying and shouting, and I knew that something was very wrong.

It didn't take long for me to realize what had happened. The thunderstorm had been raging for hours, and it had finally taken its toll. A massive tree had been struck down and had hit a nearby building, killing an entire family. The scene was heartbreaking, and I felt my emotions welling up inside me.

But as a lycan, I knew that I had to keep my composure. I couldn't show any weakness in front of my pack members, so I stayed strong, even as I felt my heart breaking.

As I was about to leave the scene, Juliet spoke up. "This is what I said when I heard the thunder." "Every time it strikes like this, something bad happens."

I ignored her and made my way back inside. I needed to gather my warriors and get them to help the people affected by the tragedy. But as I walked through the halls, I couldn't shake the feeling of despair that hung over me like a dark cloud.

I felt like I was being punished for something, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Was it something I had done wrong in the past? Or was it just the cruel hand of fate that was dealing me blow after blow?

When I finally reached Brandon, I could see the shock on his face. He was speechless, and I could tell that he was struggling to process the news.

"Master, have we done something wrong?" He asked, and I didn't know how to answer him. I didn't have any explanation for the events that had unfolded, and I didn't know how to make sense of it all.

As I sat there, lost in thought, I knew that I had to stay strong for my pack. I couldn't let them see me falter, even though I felt like I was barely holding it together myself.

But deep down, I knew that something had to change. I couldn't keep living like this, always on the edge of disaster. I needed to find a way to make things right, no matter what it took.

As Brandon exited the room, my mind was already racing with thoughts of the next steps. I knew I had to act fast to prevent any further destruction in our pack. Gigi had been causing trouble with her ridiculous movies, and I needed to talk to her in person to put a stop to it.

But simply talking to her wasn't enough. I needed guidance from the moon goddess herself. She was the only one who could offer insight and wisdom to help me navigate these difficult times. I had to seek her out and make an offering to gain her favor.

As I pondered my next move, I couldn't shake off the memories of the recent attack. The thought of my people being destroyed like that was too much to bear. And to make matters worse, I had almost lost my beta, Brandon, in the process.

I pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. Gigi had finally arrived, and her appearance was not helping matters. I couldn't believe how she let herself go, with her fat body resembling a drum.

I couldn't help but call her out on it, and her face started changing. But I had no time for pleasantries. I needed to make it clear to her that she was putting the entire pack in danger with her actions.

I gave her a stern warning that this would be the last time she left the pack without supervision. If she didn't comply, she would be locked up for her own safety. It was a harsh message, but one that needed to be said.

As I spoke, I could sense her fear. She was unable to even respond, but I knew she had heard me loud and clear. Her lack of progress in training was not helping matters either, and I suggested that she focus on reducing her weight to improve her senses.

"Get ready because I will be the one who starts training you today, and you must do as I say." She nodded in acceptance because she had no choice.

She left my room.

With that, the meeting was over, and I was left to contemplate my next move. Seeking the guidance of the moon goddess was my top priority. I needed her to show me the way forward and to offer me the strength to lead my pack through these difficult times.

As I closed my eyes and offered my prayers to the moon goddess, I felt a sense of calm wash over me.

As I stood up and stepped out of my room, I felt the cool breeze brush past my face, and I knew it was time to take a break from my duties as the pack leader. I needed to eat, and so I called out to Jade to get me something to munch on. However, to my surprise, she didn't answer me at first. I could tell that she was still upset with me because I had refused Juliet's offer to feed me earlier.

But I wasn't going to let anyone tell me what to do or when to do it. This was my pack, and I did whatever I pleased, whenever I pleased. And so, in a stern voice, I warned Jade that the next time she disobeyed my orders, I would have no qualms punishing her, sister or not.

I could see the hurt in her eyes, but I didn't let it get to me. I had a mission to accomplish, and I wasn't going to let anyone stand in my way. As Jade reluctantly went to get me some food, I went back into my room to get ready for my next task.

I had to see the moon goddess. It was something I had been putting off for a while, but I knew that I had to do it soon. I needed to ask her about my future, about what was to come. But as I got ready, a thought crept into my mind.

What if the moon goddess told me to make Gigi my Luna immediately? The idea was preposterous. Gigi was nowhere near ready to be my Luna. She was young, inexperienced, and lacked the necessary skills to be an effective leader. But what if the moon goddess insisted?

My mind raced as I tried to come up with a plan. I knew I couldn't let that happen. I couldn't risk the safety and well-being of my pack by appointing someone who wasn't ready. But what if the moon goddess' demands were too great? What if everything came to a halt unless I made Gigi my Luna?

I shook my head, trying to rid myself of these thoughts. I couldn't let my mind wander like this. I had to be focused and clear-headed. I had to trust myself and my decisions.

With a deep breath, I headed out of my room and towards the dining area. As I ate my meal, I pushed all thoughts of the moon goddess and Gigi out of my mind. I would deal with whatever came my way when the time came. For now, I will enjoy my meal and bask in the glory of being the pack leader.
