Chapter 50 Privacy

Chapter 50 Privacy
I quickly covered Enna's mouth before she could complete what she was saying.

"You don't gossip about him if you want us safe; he's the reason I'm like this," I told Enna.

"Wait... you mean he did it to you? I thought you had already won him over so that he would never lay a finger on you again. What changed?" Enna asked, balling her fist. I knew for a fact that if given the opportunity, she wouldn't mind fighting him. That's how crazy she can be.

"Yeah... he pushed me last night. It's going to be really hard to avoid him, I guess," I shook my hair tiredly.

"What happened? Why will he push you? I know he was never going to follow what the alpha said. But I shouldn't be the reason why he would pick on you. I understand he hates you, so why can't he just let you be?" Enna asked angrily.

"I don't know. I don't know why the alpha chose this chamber. There are dozens of other chambers, but he chose the one facing him for me. Or maybe he just wants us to get along. Too bad he doesn't want me," I rolled my eyes.

"But that isn't even enough reason for him to bully you. But it's fine; you just have to learn to stay away from him. Don't worry, I'll protect you. I'm here now; no one would dare to bully you," she assured. If there was one thing I liked about Enna, it had to be her big sister instinct. She's always making sure I'm okay, and I'm grateful to her.

"Thank you so much, Enna. I don't know what I would have done without you. I'm so, so happy to have you as a friend," I mumbled.

"It's okay. Just know that I'll love you regardless of what happens," she smiled, pulling me in for a hug.

Enna and I spent the rest of the morning chatting. I told her everything that happened—the dinner night. I also told her about the old guy and how he was following me around and asking me unnecessary questions. I also told her how my mom had been acting towards me lately. Then I told her how the alpha came through for me; she was, in fact, happy.

Later in the afternoon, I sent her to help me pass information to the alpha. I was supposed to go on a walk with the alpha, and I asked her to inform him I couldn't come to see him because of my wounded leg.

Then we spent the rest of the day discussing everything we've been through, every single thing that happened before Seraphina came and the ones that happened during her stay.

When it was evening, she left to go get her things since she hadn't come with any in the morning, and I was left alone once more.

I tiptoed to the door to check who was knocking. I thought it was Enna, so I quickly rushed to open the door, but upon opening it, I saw the alpha prince standing at the door.

I wanted to bang the door shut, but he pushed me back and forced his way in. I fell down due to how hard he pushed the door.

He followed me in and locked the door.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" I asked, trying to get up but ended up falling back down.

"The last time I checked, this castle belonged to my dad, so I have the right to enter wherever I feel like entering. Not even your mom can stop me. You know that," he said, giggling. The fact that he had made it a habit to mention my mom every time he said something annoyed me.

"That isn't enough reason to force your way into my room. This is my privacy, for crying out loud! Besides, it was the alpha who gave me the chamber. You have no right whatsoever to be here. Leave before I scream!" I tried, hoping it would work on him.

He smiled and then walked fully in to sit on the bed.

"You're going to scream? And you think anyone would come in here to save you with the door locked? Like I said earlier, no one moves if I order them not to... you should have understood that by now," he added. It's so obvious he was doing everything to frustrate me.

"That isn't enough reason, Kael! You shouldn't be here, so get out!" I said as I finally got up.

"Wait... did you just call me by my name?" he asked, getting up from the bed while I moved back.

"That's not it; just leave! You're not needed here!" I ignored his question.

"And what if I insist?" he asked, taking slow steps towards me.
