CHAPTER 19

Bora gulped as she took in the sight of her She didn't know what it was that was going through her head at the moment, but she watched as everyone looked towards her with alacrity.

"Is there a problem?". The Alpha asked her, and she was surprised by how calm he sounded. She had thought that he would have shown more offense.

"It's your stupid chef. Whatever he put in this soup. It tastes horrible. I can't eat this." She suwaeled. The alpha looked toward her with a raised eyebrow, and she wondered what the reason was. Maybe there was something up his sleeve. But she couldn't be sure what. When it came to the man, he was unpredictable, and whatever buttons he had, she didn't want to push them.

"It tastes like a gutter." I don't know why no one else can sense it." She said that, and she watched as the Alpha widened his eyes before grinning. "Oh really. That's interesting." Ye said to her.

"Do you have anything else that you would like to say? '' He said as she slowly stood up to his feet and stalked over towards her. In that form, he was scary. Amelia felt her skin tremble at the sight of him. He looked even more powerful than before, and she was afraid to find out what it was that he planned to do.

She watched as he laid his way towards her before he stood in front of her. "I would like to say that this contest was dumb from the start. The only reason I am here anyway is because I want to get you to pick me up. I had thought they would be easy and hoped I would have done that by now, seeing how easy it was for me to be able to fool your guards as well as the man I had tricked into bringing me here.

But fooling you seems to be harder than I thought, and I find this frustrating. I want to be Luna." She said this to him as she stamped her feet like a child. Amelia didn't know what had happened. She was shocked that she was revealing such precious information about herself to him, and she wondered if something was wrong with her.

But then she felt her body freeze as she remembered what the Alpha had said to her about revealing the truth. For a moment, her eyes drifted toward the scene, and she couldn't help but widen her eyes as, for a moment, she wondered if that could be it and it was true.

Could it be possible that what she was given was a truth, but what had happened was nothing to the others and that it was only working on him?

"Oh really. Is there anything else that you wanted to say? he said to himself as he let out a sigh from his lips. As he smirked. "I will do anything that you want. I will do whatever it takes to get what it needs. I will be the one dhpoin, and if I become luna and you refuse to give me the power and the respect that I know that I deserve, as well as everything else that I desire, then I will have no choice but to take you out as well. It won't be hard". She said that, and she was about to say more as the room fell into a thick silence, but the Alpha stopped her as he let out a deep growl.

He elongated his claws and was able to split open her chest effortlessly. The room fell into a thick silence as not one person dared to breathe a word. They thought they were watching it in slow motion. As the girl fell to the ground and her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

The Alpha stepped over her dead body as his eyes met Amelia's for a moment, and he sent her a smirk. "You see, the thing that I hold most dear to people is honesty. I can't have a luna if there is no honesty between us; that is simply not how a relationship is set up to work. As you can see, she made her intentions clear. "Is there anyone else who would like to let us know that is what they intend to do when they become Luna". He said it in a challenging tone.

The room was filled with silence, but no one dared say a word. Amelia felt dizzy as she felt bile rise up in her throat. He really was a monster, far worse than the one that she had pictured in her mind. He was something that parents told children stories about, and from the smirk on his face, he was well aware of that fact as well.

It was almost as though he wanted people to fear him. Almost as though he reveled in the concept of fear. We don't want to be on the receiving end of his outburst, and she didn't want to find herself needing to take a moment to accustom herself to his norms, but with the way that he stared at her, it was almost as though he was looking right into her soul.

She didn't like that, and it was the last thing that she wanted, but she was the prey. He had made that known the second he marked her, and she was his predator. It was clear that it was a game of catch, and from what she could see, he was clearly enjoying the chase. What she didn't know entirely was whether she had what it took to survive.
