Chapter 59 - The Unknown Bride of the Alpha King

I

Usmalie stands on the front side of the boat with a white flag in her hand. She raises and waves the flag, giving signals that they are not enemies.

At that moment Alpha Branden arrives in the bay and was surprised to see the boat docked nearby carrying women, who he knows so well.

Seeing the arrival of the Rogue Alpha, Queen Erasma rises from her seat and walks toward the front of the boat, just beside Usmalie.

“Alpha Branden, allow us to dock on your island. I have a piece of very important news to tell you,” she said aloud so that the Rogue Alpha can clearly hear her.

Furrowing a bit after hearing what the Medean Queen has said, Alpha Branden motions to his men to put down their rifles. “You are very welcome to our humble place, Queen Erasma,” he replied to the notorious Queen.

Smiling wide, Queen Erasma, alighted from their boat first followed by Usmalie and some of her lady warriors.

They walk to the bay until they reach the point where Alpha Branden is standing.

“It is a pleasure to see you again, Queen Erasma. Do not be disappointed please, we do not have a castle or a palace, we only have a small pack house here,” Alpha Branden said while accepting the handshake offered by the Medean Queen to him.

“It is not the reason why I am here. So it does not matter at all, Alpha Branden,” the Medean Queen replied after their hands disengaged.

“Please follow me then to my office in our pack house. I believe, your news is very important,” Alpha Branden smiled and then started to walk.

Queen Erasma, Usmalie, and their warriors follow Alpha Branden until they reach the latter’s office.

“Please take your seat, Queen Erasma,” Alpha Branded said while motioning to the couch inside his office.

The Queen sits on the single couch while Alpha Branden sits on the long couch across her seat.

Usmalie stays standing by the door, while the other lady warriors were outside of the office.

Queen Erasma looks at Alpha Branden and then lifts an eyebrow. “Alpha Branden, I cannot see that you are mourning. You look to be even happy.”

“There is nothing for me to mourn about Queen Erasma. I am happy that you visited our small island.”

With her penetrating eyes, Queen Erasma looks at Alpha Branden again with questions in her eyes. “Did you not feel the loss of your mate?” she asked as if trying to probe into something.

“Lose of my mate? Can you please clarify your statement, Queen Erasma,” Alpha Branden said with a furrowed forehead already. He is getting hostile a bit as he does not like the tenor of her statement.

“Alpha Branden, I was at the Alpha King’s Palace yesterday with the intent to get the woman who escaped from us, who was your mate, and hopefully eventually, you and she can get reunited in the end through my help. But I was shocked to know that yesterday morning, according to Alpha King Dantes, the said woman has been executed for disrespecting the Alpha King for several times.” Queen Erasma said in a slow manner while keenly observing the reaction of Alpha Branden.

Alpha Branden stiffens and thereafter his eyes squinted. “No! Andreitte is not yet dead. I did not feel her loss, Queen Erasma. Tomorrow, I have the intention to go there and get her again. I had a plan already.”

Queen Erasma shakes her head with a sad expression on her face. “She is dead, Alpha Branden. I went to the mini-castle too and found out that she was replaced already. There is already a new Alpha’s Breeder, and I met her. The guard in the mini castle also confirmed that the former Alpha’s breeder has been executed already.”

Outright, rage overwhelms the whole being of Alpha Branden.

Meantime, Alpha King Dantes gathered all the members of the Council of Elders, his Beta, the Viceroy, the Gamma, and Delta, being the head messenger of the Pack.

“I gathered you all here because I have an important announcement today. Recently, I found my mate, although I hide it at first due to some valid reasons. This mark on my neck is proof that we already both marked and claimed each other. Just this morning, I found out that she is already carrying my first heir,” the Alpha King said as a start.

Except for Beta Manro, everyone around shows a very surprised expression.

The Head of the Council of Elders clears his throat before he said in a very interested and curious manner. “My Alpha King, I am glad that finally, we will be having our Luna Queen and of course a prince. May I know who is the lucky woman, please?” he said and then he lets out a genuinely happy smile.

Alpha King Dantes makes a wide grin before he replies, “I wanted to surprise everyone. So, you will know her only during the wedding, which will take place three days from now,” he said, which made everyone in his office, sigh with anticipation.

All the attendees in the special meeting left his office, but Beta Manro, stays and looks at the Alpha King with an inquisitive look.

“Don’t look at me like that. I have a good reason, why I am not yet revealing her as my mate and soon-to-be Luna Queen. I am avoiding anyone with bad intentions to ruin our wedding,” Alpha King Dantes said after lifting an eyebrow against his Beta.

“I see. I understand, my Alpha King.” Beta Manro smiled and then he sits on the couch, while his mind seems to be thinking of something again.

“Letting everyone know now that Andreitte is my mate will be a great risk. You know, we can never tell, if someone might spill it out and it will reach the knowledge of the Rogue Alpha and the Medean Queen, so with our other enemies.”

“So, it means, no Alpha will be invited to your wedding?”

Alpha King Dantes nods his head. “We will invite some Alpha, but we will not let them know the main reason why we are requiring them to come on that day. The invitation will only provide that they will be attending a special occasion. That’s it only.”

Beta Manro suddenly grins widely when everything and every plan of Alpha King Dantes become clear in his mind.

Meanwhile, inside her room Daina becomes restless. “Is it really true that Andreitte has been executed,” she thought over and over again. She cannot believe that Andreitte is gone now. “Would I tell her parents?” she thought again.

When one of the maids brought her food that night, she tried to get some information from her. She knows that Omega maids are nosy. They would sometimes group themselves in the kitchen and chat with each other. So, most probably, the maid will know if indeed, Andreitte has been executed.

“Hey, Lezi, by the way, do you know what happened to the former Alpha’s breeder?” she asked the maid before she can turn her back from her to get out of her room.

The maid looks at her with a query in her eyes. “I heard nothing about her, Madam. I just saw her the last time when she visited here together with the Alpha King.”

“She was with the Alpha King that time?” Daina almost exclaimed.

“Yes, Madam. They came together and left together.”

Daina’s forehead is furrowing deeply now. “But I heard, Ms. Andreitte was executed that day too. She was punished for disrespecting the Alpha King.”

The maid furrowed too and shakes her head. “I heard nothing about the execution, Madam. My apologies, if I cannot enlighten you on that matter.”

“Do you know who is the mate of Ms. Andreitte?”

“I am sorry, again Madam, but I am not aware of it. No one knows actually.” The maid bows her head and is about to go when Daina holds her hand.

“Lezi, I will give you a few golds, just find the truth about the alleged execution of Miss Andreitte. I wanted to know because Miss Andreitte is actually my cousin.” Daina smiled at the maid, and the latter immediately nodded in return.
