Darren's POV.
"I don't think we're hurt anymore." I told Karl and he nodded, the healers rushed in healing them all and it was over.
"I think I can now go see Laura." I smirked and Karl sighed.
"Lover boy." He said and I laughed.
"I never thought the day would come, but I accept." I said and he rolled his eyes and Dean laughed.
I couldn't believe everything was over, we already sent information to those worrying in the pack, all we had to do was get ready and celebrate a lot there. 
I paused when I suddenly smelt something and I held Dean to my side, he stared at me frowning.
"I feel something." I said and I didn't finish when I heard an explosion and suddenly I saw another witch, the power I felt from her was stronger and it made me scared, I thought I was done by killing the witch I killed earlier, but I was wrong, that witch I killed earlier wasn't the one I should've aimed for, it was just the base this was the master and she was angry.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." I swore.
"What is it Uncle?" Dean asked and I sighed.
"We need to leave now, there's an angry witch and she is doing a spell." I said as I saw her with my supersight.
"I thought you killed her?" Dean asked.
"I did too, but this is another." I said.
"Everyone get up, let's go." Karl shouted and the warriors ran away.
They didn't go too far and I was about to join them when I saw a blast close to us and I covered Dean, it was Wolfsbane.
"It's Wolfsbane." I said, clutching my gut in pain.
We ran and I imagined Laura, all I could think about was surviving this to meet her.

"What are you doing to my mate Elder Janos?" I asked, shivering with rage, I couldn't keep the rage out of my voice, neither did it leave my gaze, I glared hard at him, as I watched Laura swallow, her heart was beating.
"Uhm, alpha, I." He stuttered and I raised my eyebrows waiting for him to finish. If he didn't say anything, I don't know what I would do to him.
My wolf wasn't calm at all, it just saw our mate cornered and in danger and it wanted to come out and rip elder Janos's neck apart. I was trying to calm it down, though I felt like it wouldn't work.
"She was being insolent and I wanted to speak to her, that's why I went closer." He said as he straightened, picking his walking stick up.
"She just saw you and became insolent?" I raised my brows and he nodded.
"Yes, I didn't understand her, I feel like she acts this way, Jessica told me she did the same to her this afternoon." Elder Janos swallowed.
"Oh I see what this is." I said and he shook his head, clutching his stick fearfully.
"You came to attack my mate because your daughter reported her to you." I said and he shook his head.
"That's not true." He argued and I smiled.
"I don't have time for this, or all day for this, it's very late, it's almost morning." I said and he nodded.
"I'll get going." He said.
"Tell your mate to be respectful next time, she shouldn't talk to elders that way." He said and I smiled.
"Where do you think you're going?" I asked.
"You said it's late Alpha, I wanted to leave immediately, so you'll spend time with your mate." He said.
"You're such a joke." Dean sighed.
"When have you ever wanted me to spend time with my mate?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked shakily.
"Most of the meetings the elders call me for, are often orchestrated by you and I spend more time listening to the same thing, which you make them demand or say at times or even influence them." I said and he swallowed.
"And now you have the audacity to come for my mate?" I asked and he shivered.
"Who gave you that spunk to even approach and corner her?" I ask.
"You said you didn't have time for this alpha." He said.
"Yeah, I don't have time, but I still want answers right now, or I won't let it die down." I replied.
"No matter what you do, you can't change the fact that she's my mate, and she's the future Luna of the pack." I said and his eyes widened.
"You can't make her Luna." He said and O saw Laura wince.
"She's unworthy of that position." He added.
"Oh wow, are you now making the decisions for me?" I asked and he sighed.
"Yeah, I don't think so,"I added.
"You all have been pretty insolent to my mate and I've tried to be very calm about it, my wolf hasn't been happy, right now it wants to rip your neck apart, yet I keep stopping it." I said and she swallowed.
"You can't hurt me, I'm an elder, an important member." He said.
"You should respect me, and respecting my mate means respecting me, and disrespecting her means doing that to me." I said.
"I'm going to let you go, but that won't happen next time, I'll give my wolf the satisfaction of killing you." I said and he gasped.
"Killing me?" He asked.
"Yes it wants anyone who says anything about our mate dead." I said and he rushed away.
I smiled, my wolf was even more feared then me,it was psychotic after all.
"Let's go." I told Laura and she nodded.
"You're hurt." She said and I nodded.
"Yeah, we'll treat it up there." She patted Dean who nodded as we went up, I saw them all disperse, with fear, and I just knew that threat worked the way I wanted it to.
"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked.
"Not really, I'm stressed, what I thought I solved changed, but being with you here, I feel better." I said and she smiled.
