Chapter 30 Thirty


Darren's POV.
After seeing the CCTV, we rushed out, driving around. I didn't plan on driving around, I wanted to and give my wolf the opportunity of hunting down who we wanted, yet Karl told me I shouldn't because he wanted to prevent casualties.
I understood his fear, if I let anyone out, it would kill anyone in its way, even the innocent and Karl forbade that, my nephew even shook his head when he heard me say that I wanted to let my wolf out.
"Why are you shaking your head?" I asked.
"I feel bad for them, whoever it would be on your way, even you shift, so please don't, I don't like cleaning blood that much and I know you will spill a lot." He said and I sighed.
"Don't drive either, you might get us in an accident." He added and I rolled my eyes at him.
"I'm just being honest." He said.
"Oh please." I said with a sigh, wondering how she was doing. It pissed me off that I couldn't scent her or even see where she was. I didn't know what was blocking me, but it was probably from a witch and I promise to kill that witch, if I find it.
"Stop thinking of murder." Karl said and I smiled.
"It's my favorite topic." I said and he sighed about parking at the reserved area.
"Let's look for her here, if we can't find her, then we move on." Karl said and we all came down from the car.
I hoped we saw her and I hoped she was safe when we saw her. I was so worried and I can't help but blame myself everytime I think of how she's faring right now, wherever she is.
We searched the whole area and we couldn't find her, this frustrated me a lot, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she got kidnapped because of me.
"Let's go somewhere else, we'll find her, I'm sure we will." Karl said, patting my back, I entered the car sulkily, thinking of Laura.
My wolf wasn't calm too, it kept running up and down, jumping around, pacing, it wanted to search for her, it wanted out, yet I knew it would be dangerous, I knew they were right, and I might kill the innocent, I didn't want to kill the innocent, so I forced my wolf to behave itself, it was hard for me, it was as dominant as I am and it didn't listen to me, it kept troubling me, I tried pacifying it, it worked at some point.
"Let's check here." Karl packed elsewhere and we looked around, we knew whoever took her won't take her to any pack, they'll find a place to keep her.
We searched around and it was the same thing, we couldn't see her or any trace of her, my wolf that calmed a little, troubled me again, it kept wanting me to shift and it was hard keeping it down.
"Be calm, we'll find her I'm sure." Karl said.
"I'm not one upset, my wolf wants out and it's not making it easy for me." I said through gritted teeth, trying to keep it down.
"Oh damn, that's bad, at some point,you won't hold it anymore." Karl said and I nodded.
"Yeah that's why I hope we find her soon,or I won't hold on anymore." I said and they nodded.
"Let's check elsewhere." Karl said driving the car,he parked at the new place and we searched without seeing any trace of her, I was getting tired of it.
We searched about six places and we couldn't find her, it felt like they took her somewhere far and it wasn't close, or they hid her close and we wouldn't see.
"I'm tired." I said and Dean sighed.
"Same here, but I have a feeling we will find her soon." He added.
"I pray so." I said, I tried to reach her, or see where she was and it didn't work, it gave me a headache suddenly.
"Where the fuck would they hide her?" Karl asked, ruffling his hair in frustration.
"I don't know, but I'll finish them once I find them." I added.
"Darren." I heard a voice say softly, and I knew it was Laura's voice immediately.
"Darren please help me, if you can hear me please help." The voice was faint, but I knew it was her voice, it sounded weak, like she was struggling to send me a message.
I used the voice and pictured where she was, it was at a very fine building with large walls, and she was seated in a room with two men watching her.
I was happy I could trace her, I smiled immediately.
"Laura." I called out in my mind and I didn't hear anything, I was sure whatever barrier that blocked me or her there became stronger, I hoped it didn't hurt her.
"I've found her." I said.
"You have?" Dean and Karl asked simultaneously.
"Yes I have, let's go ahead, I've seen the place." I said and they nodded.
"How did you do it?" Dean asked.
"She reached out." I said and they blinked.
"I thought you couldn't reach her,'' Dean said.
"Well, she was strong and that made hear it, it was faint but it helped." I said and Dean smiled.
"Our future Luna is amazing." Karl said with a smile.
I described the place and he drove there, we reached in minutes, I heard sounds of firecrackers and laughter and I got angry that they were playing after kidnapping my mate.I teleported inside, Dean and Karl did the same.
I carried one of the fire crackers and put it in their mouth, I stepped back and before they could spit it out, it exploded killing them. I saw her from the window and I rushed inside, snapping the neck of the men I saw, their actions felt like they were leering at her.
She looked at me in surprise, then she smiled.
"You came." She said,
"You called." I replied and she smiled, I helped her stand.
