Chapter 31 Thirty one
Laura's POV.
I was surprised that he came, but I was also delighted as well, when I told him he came, he replied that I called.
I was happy that he could hear me, though whoever did this made it hard for me,but I was found, he watched me his chest heaving,and I wondered what I did wrong, his eyes became more feral, I saw fire dance in them, he looked extremely upset and I wondered what I did to make him upset.
He looked away, his hands clenching and his chest heaving, he walked close to walls, and he leaned, his chest kept heaving, it felt like he couldn't stop it.
I saw Dean walk in with a smile when he saw me, his smile faltered when he saw Darren, I wondered if he knew what's wrong with him.
"Have you seen him?" Karl walked in and paused when he saw Darren,his eyes widened in fear.
I didn't know what was happening, and I hoped someone would tell me what was going on.
"What's wrong with him?" I ask.
"He is in a very bad mood, " Dean said carefully.
"Am I responsible for this?" I asked and he shook his head.
"You aren't, you're just the reason he's upset, he wasn't able to come fast and seeing those wounds on your body makes him upset ." Dean said and Darren growled.
His chest heaving became more serious than it did before.
"And I almost forgot, his wolf has been dying to get out for a long time, since he found you were taken, that's also the reason he's this way." Dean added, making Darren growl more.
"I feel like what you're saying is making him more upset." Karl said and Dean nodded carrying his hands up.
"I won't say anything anymore, I just wanted her to know and not blame herself for anything." Dean said and Karl nodded.
"Let's go." Karl said, walking to him.
"I. Want. Everyone. Leave." He said and we all paused watching him, he held the walls, his claws were fully out, it scratched the walls and his hands were shaking, making the room vibrate.
"Is it still insisting to be let out?" Karl asked and Darren nodded.
"You can try making it calm down." He said and Darren laughed bitterly.
"Trust me that's not working." He said through gritted teeth and Karl sighed.
"I want everyone to leave." He said it calmly this time and Karl's eyes widened.
"It's not good if his voice is having this deadly calm to it, that means it's serious." Karl said and Dean nodded.
"Let's leave once he calms down, he will come out on his own." Dean said and Karl nodded.
"Let's go Laura." Dean said and I nodded, but for some weird reason I didn't want to leave, I wanted to comfort him somehow,now I knew that he wasn't upset with me.
"We need to leave.", Karl said and I could hear the fear in his voice, and I wondered what he did when he changed.
"His wolf doesn't care about anyone and it has been wanting to kill, let's leave, it might be a mistake, but I must avoid death." He said and I nodded.
They walked faster when they heard his growl, running outside, the growl made me pause and I turned and watched him shift to his wolf.
I was scared and nervous that he'll hurt me, but for some reason I felt like his wolf wouldn't hurt me, his wolf was so beautiful I couldn't help myself, I walked closer to it, though I could hear my heart beat quickly,I didn't want him thinking that I was scared of him, I calmed down my speeding heartbeat.
I was surprised that my wolf didn't act up, it was in awe like I was. I walked closer slowly, hoping I didn't do anything that'll agitate it in any way.
When I reached where his wolf was, and I touched it's fur and it purred walking closer to me, my heart was beating fast but it was out of excitement this time, I laughed when it licked me, I rubbed its fur again and it kept rolling around me for more, I was surprised by the reputation his wolf, I didn't see how harmful it was, it was so cute ,I just knew that I could play with it all day.
It ran to end of the room and back to me, and I smiled, it was really a playful wolf, and my wolf was enjoying all of these, it wanted me to shift too, so it could play with his wolf, I didn't feel like changing, so I ignored it's whining and kept playing with Darren's wolf, it felt like it was satisfied with playing, it paused and licked me once more.
And I ruffled its fur again, and it licked me and I giggled, I was feeling extremely ticklish.
I tickled its side and it rolled over to the end of the room and back to me, I kept tickling it when it came back.
We got into a routine that had me laughing. I couldn't stop playing with it. I forgot about the pain I got from this kidnapping. I loved playing with it a lot, it felt like we played for a long while and I wondered where Dean and Karl were, they made me scared for nothing.
"I never thought I would see this day." Karl said and I turned to him, I was happy to see them back.
Dean kept blinking at me, then his Uncle's wolf and me.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"He's shocked as I am to see Darren's wolf play with you, it normally kills, this is surprising." Karl said.
"I still can't believe I saw him lick you and run around playing with you, it's very shocking." Karl said.
"I'm happy he has a mate, looks like his wolf likes his mate a lot , and it won't try to hurt you, I'm happy to see that." Dean said and I nodded.
