Emotions.

(Author’s Point of View.)

Meanwhile…

Whilst Amelia’s body was laid motionless on the floor, her consciousness travelled elsewhere.

Amelia’s eyes fluttered open to a familiar environment. Seeing the huge crystals that were hanging upended and the indescribable brightness plus iciness that enveloped the place, thus, she didn’t need any scientist to tell her where she was.

Normally, she would have freaked out, considering how her first and last experience with this place was not so pleasant. However, right now, she was too heart-wrenched to even move from whatever she was laying on.

Amelia couldn’t believe how terribly she had hurt Reagan. What was even more mystifying is, how every pain she inflicted on him gave her pleasure to the point that, arousal coated her whole being. She wanted him to ravage her whilst she inflicted him with more pain. Every time her crystals penetrated his flesh and drew blood from him, her pussy throbbed, and her excitement intensified as more darkness sipped out of her.

She couldn’t stop what she was doing, not even the immeasurable love she had for him could outshine her darkness. Despite all the sufferings she was causing him, he never thought to hurt her for even a minute. All he did was tried talking her out of whatever evil had taken over her mind, whilst she on the other hand, took satisfaction in brutalising him.

Uncontrollable tears streamed down the corner of Amelia’s eyes as she gazed soullessly at the magnificent crystals above her in anguish. She saw how Reagan struggled to remain sain with his distinct orbs never leaving hers until the very last moment she felt an overwhelming heat cursing through her veins, then everything went blank, and she ended up in her current location.

“Keep your mind at ease, child.”

A voice that sends an unimaginable peace in one’s soul and would instantly erase whatever it is that troubles you, crept its way into Amelia’s ears. However, the tear-jerking feeling in her heart, was not something anyone or anything could erase, and was greater than any curiosity she might have had right now. Therefore, she remained still in her position without care of whose presence was before her, as more tears continued to stream down her face.

“Calm yourself, little one, for drowning oneself in one’s penitence is no solution.”

The voice, aka (Artemis), came this time right beside the guilt-stricken Amelia, and she tilted her head disheartened on one side to see a woman, standing about two feet away from her. She was beyond glorious in her white attire that no words could adequately describe how enthral she looked.

With that, more tears fell from Amelia’s eyes. She couldn’t explain why, but the presence of this spellbinding being in front of her, felt like she got a shoulder to cry on. And she did just that.

“Oh child! Do not blame yourself for whatever wrong you have done to your mate, for he will not hold it against you.” Artemis said lifting Amelia’s body from the crystals like bed, she laid on.

“You must understand that everything in life, has its purpose. Our mistakes, our failures, and our very own existence have their purpose. Just like our meeting today has long been predicted, so is everything else in the universe,” Artemis enounced.

Amelia’s lips quivered as the aching in her heart intensified. She did not give a freak about whatever purpose the universe may have. The thought of what transpired between her, and the love of her life was eating her up.

“He could have died. I almost killed him. I almost killed us,” Amelia choked on her tears. “First, I got marked by that evildoer and he suffered gravely as a result. I don’t know how, but I saw a glimpse of his memories just before I blacked out. I felt how agonizing that was for him. It unimaginably broke him,” Amelia sniffled.

“All I ever did was bring him pain. Please server our mate bond. I don’t deserve him. I am not the right person for him.”

“M-my mother did all she could to prevent me from ending up like her, yet I turned out to be exactly what she wanted to avoid,” Amelia’s body shook violently. She paused for a couple of seconds to catch her breath from gasping on her tears then continued-

“I know you are the voice in my dreams, and who showed me those things. I also know you are the Moon Goddess,” Amelia clasped her chest tightly then went on-

“I don’t know why you made my life like this, or what sins I might have committed, but I beg you, free him from me,” her heart wrenched at that statement. However, leaving him was the best thing to do right now, she thought. Else, she was certain she would only bring him down with her.

Artemis sighed as her heart ached seeing Amelia so grief-stricken. “Destiny cannot be changed, child. Our fates have long been written. Whether good or bad, only time could tell.”

“No! I am certain you can do something,” Amelia refused to give up. “What if an event like this happens again, and I end up killing us both? I know that would be the case because he won’t fight back no matter how much I hurt him. I can’t stomach such a situation again, please do something,” She pleaded in tears.

“Calm yourself, child.” Artemis said placing her palms on the sorrow-stricken girl for a couple of seconds, letting her energy calm the poor fellow.

Amelia felt a sudden calmness envelop her and she took a side glance at the woman beside her, whose hands were resting on hers. Seeing that, Amelia didn’t need to guess where the sudden warm feeling that has managed to relax her troubled mind a bit, came from.

“We do not have much time left. Come with me, there are things you must know.” Artemis said striding towards the massive Moon that was resting on the over shaped larger crystals.

“Your mates are not that simple to kill, child, neither are you. Adgan isn’t an ordinary wolf, neither is Zegan an ordinary vampire.”

Amelia was confused. She only knows about Reagan and Adgan, his wolf, being her mate. She has never heard the name Zegan before. Her eyes narrowed at the woman in front of her.

Artemis chuckled then waved her hands over the Moon, and images of Reagan with the most breathtakingly beautiful female she has ever laid eyes on appeared.

Amelia abruptly robbed the back of her hand over her eyes to wipe away her tears in bewilderment. The images on the massive Moon were of Reagan, still, she was certain that wasn’t him.
