Chapter 270 150| Great Force.
DAISY
Women and children had been locked in the safe room to protect them. Warriors were set, ready to fight if needed. We were all gathered in the pack square while Grandfather, Mother, Lila, and I summoned Zara using all kinds of nightmares and illusions. Hopefully, she would fall into our trap and appear here.
The artefact that was meant to contain the Olga after drawing it out of Zara was made in the shape of a puzzle. And every puzzle piece had to be complete before it could be activated. However, I had my own plans for the Olga, but I dared not share them with Mother or Grandfather because they would be vehemently against it. But I knew within me that it would work.
A strong whooshing sound could be heard, and I lifted my head to see black smoke swirling in the form of a loop before us. Suddenly, that black smoke materialized into a human form, Zara appearing before us.
Her eyes were the darkest I had ever seen. Her veins were evidently black through her skin. The energy that filled the air at her presence was dark and eerie.
“I wanted to give you all time to live and reflect on your misdoings, but it seems you are all eager to die?” she groaned. A smile that promised ruin spread across her lips as she looked around. “Such a tragedy it would be. All the Alpha Kings, and the witches’ clan leader, would die here today.”
“The only person that would be dying here is you!” I snarled.
She snapped her gaze at me, a hard frown forming on her face.
My mother quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me behind her. But I wasn’t scared of her, so I stepped forward and continued.
“What do you aim to achieve with all this?” I questioned.
“With what exactly, little witch? Acquiring the Olga’s power, or killing everyone here today?” She tilted her head to the side, her eyes narrowing. “On second thought, I might spare you and make you my puppet. You are quite powerful, so I could exploit your powers.”
“Aren’t you disgusted in yourself?” Lila shouted. “First, you tried to kill a hundred girls. And now you want to exploit a little girl’s power.”
“Admit it, sister, you are just jealous. We all know you also wanted the Olga’s power. I just got it first.” She spat as she snapped her gaze at Lila.
“Wanted, Nina. Wanted. But not anymore. I went astray then, but I have regained my senses. I am a better person now!” Lila retorted.
“Bullshit,” she scoffed. “We both know that there’s nothing better about you. Oh, perhaps are you looking for a false redemption because you know that you are dying?”
“You are dying?” I snapped my gaze at Lila.
She swallowed and shook her head. “No, I am not.”
“Oh, they didn’t know?” Zara laughed hysterically. “They don’t know that you tried harnessing powers from the sun and moon to give you more powers, but it backfired?”
Harnessing powers from the sun and moon was very dangerous and could even kill. Had she succeeded in obtaining those powers, the earth could have been swallowed in darkness.
“Shut up!” Lila roared, blasting Zara with a great force that was supposed to rip her apart, but she promptly dodged it.
“I thought you were a pure and innocent young girl. If I had known that you were evil, I would have ended you back then!” Grandfather yelled.
“Elder Kaelin. The witches’ clan leader,” she called as she darted her gaze at him. A dark, murderous look filled her eyes as she continued, “you aided them and made it possible for them to murder your own brother. And now I am going to make you suffer for it!”
“Gabriel was not my brother. I refuse to associate myself with him that way!” Grandfather retorted.
“Go and discuss that with him in hell.” She lifted her hand to cast a spell.
“Now!” Grandpa yelled.
The four of us joined hands and cast a spell that formed a strong barrier around her to trap her, a circle of fire growing around her.
She smirked. “What is this supposed to do? Trap me?”
She shook her head incredulously, and the next thing we knew, she spread her hands sideways and cast a spell that broke the barrier effortlessly.
My eyes widened in shock. It wasn’t a surprise that she was able to break through the barrier, but I had expected more struggle. The power the Olga gave was indeed powerful.
But she wasn’t going to win today. We were going to take her down.
“Now!” Grandfather yelled again and began chanting spells that would draw the Olga out of her.
“Are you all stupid? You should—” She trailed off, her eyes widening in shock when she felt the power leaving her.
“How are you doing this?” she said with a strangled voice.
She kept trying to push it back in while we relentlessly drew it out. We kept going back and forth, determined to pull out the Olga. However, I was on a different mission. The rest believed we were just going to pull it inside the artefact. Whereas, I wanted to destroy it. Forever. I knew I could do it.
The power that overwhelmed my being was so strong that I knew I could achieve such with it.
“Stop it!” she croaked.
I could feel her trying to teleport, but I quickly cast a spell that stopped her from being able to do that.
After several minutes of going back and forth, we were finally able to pull out the Olga. The darkness that contaminated the air was overwhelming. It formed a loop, twirling around while the rest tried to direct it to the artefact.
But me, on the other hand, I stepped forward, allowing the overwhelming power inside me to control me, letting it all out.
The Olga moved towards me furiously, wanting to either attack me or possess me.
Mother yelled something in the background, but I was too engrossed to even hear her.
The Olga stopped just in front of me, swirling furiously.
I battled with it, allowing my magic to slowly destroy it. It tried to possess me, but it soon realized that it couldn’t and tried to move to possess someone else.
But I blasted it with a spell that kept it in place.
“Daisy, allow us to pull it into the artefact!” Grandpa yelled.
“No!” I yelled in response.
And with all the strength within me, I unleashed a great force that it couldn’t resist. It swirled around with great speed before it suddenly took the form of a mysterious being and dropped to the ground. Then it caught fire.
Just then, my eyes rolled to the back of my head and everything went black as I collapsed to the floor.
