When we returned from the restaurant, my stomach was extremely full and I felt a bit tired, so I decided to head to my room. “Good night Rome!” I said to him, he wasn’t looking normal and stared at me as though something was very wrong.

“Are you okay?” I asked and he nodded yes. He was still standing where he was and had his hand on his head.

“Are you sure? You don’t look okay.” I said, he placed his hand on his head and almost stumbled, I had to hold onto him.

“It’s him, he’s trying to get control,” Rome said, I was very confused, I didn’t understand what he was saying.

“Osaks?” I asked and he nodded, his eyes looked bloodshot.

“What is wrong with you Rome? What does he want from you?” I asked, Rome didn’t say a thing, I just simply stared at him in confusion.

“Come, let’s go inside,” I said to him, he nodded, I held him tightly and walked him into the mansion. He looked very weak, I have never seen him look as weak as this.

I walked him upstairs and towards his room where I helped him lie on the bed, he held my arm as I tried to walk away.

“Don’t leave me, I need you.” He said, I felt a bit of pity for him, so I held his arm calmly and sat on the bed.

“Are you sure you don’t need a doctor or something?” I asked he nodded no.

“I’m a supernatural creature, human doctors won’t understand anything.” He said, I nodded. He was right, it is dumb of me to suggest bringing in a doctor.

“Who is Osaki? What’s his role in your life?” I asked, he took in a deep breath. Despite my anger toward him, I found myself worrying about him.

“Osaki is my demon, an evil ancient demon that has been threatening my life ever since I was a kid.” He said, I nodded my head, wanting to know more about Osaki.

“He is dangerous and leaves on the displeasure of people.” He said. I nodded my head and listened to him intently.

“Why is he bugging your life?” He asked.

“There’s nothing more to it, he’s just angry that I’m not causing a lot of problems any longer.” He said.

“What type of problems?” I asked, I wanted to know everything about this creature.

“Havoc, he wants me to create chaos and problems. That’s what he wants, to make people suffer and feel pain.” He said, his voice sounded soft and that made chills run down my spine.

“Are you scared of him?” I asked and he nodded no.

“I can’t be scared of him, he has been a part of me forever.” He said, I nodded.

“How can we get rid of him?” I asked and he immediately nodded no.

“Don’t ever say that around me, he can hear you and he just growled, that has never brought something worth speaking about.” He said, I felt alarmed and so did Bradox.

“Calm down buddy!” I said to Bradox.

‘I’m a royal dragon, I fear no demon.’ Bradox said, I couldn’t help but chuckle lightly at his claim.

“What’s funny?” Rome asked.

“My dragon, he hates the fact that Osaki growled at us,” I explained to Rome.

“Oh, you may leave now, you look tired.” He said, I nodded.

“Yeah I am tired, but I can stay here if you don’t feel okay,” I said to him.

“No, I feel okay.” He said, I nodded. I didn’t want to stretch the talk, so I decided to head to my room. I waved at him and headed to my room, I was still thinking about Osaki and how dangerous he must be to have so much control over Rome.

Well, I had to leave that topic for tomorrow, as soon as I arrived in my room, I took a bath and changed into something more comfortable. I dressed up in a pajama and a matching cap, I then picked up my phone from the cupboard where I had previously dropped it. There was a text from

Rowland is on the screen.

“My dad said I should warn you, he felt the aura of Rome’s Demon, Osaki. You have to be careful.” I read the text, my heart honestly skipped a beat.

What could be so dangerous about Osaki that everyone had to warn me about him, was he some sort of a spirit demon or what? Well, I could find that out tomorrow, I kept my phone away and decided to sleep. I soon drifted into another world where only my heartbeat and the little dreams I was having were what was in control.

Suddenly, I had my door opened. I jolted up only to find Rome standing next to it with blood falling from his eyes. He looked very sick and scary, my heart skipped a beat and I got up immediately and walked over to him, and immediately held him.

“What’s wrong? Why are you bleeding again?” I asked, and he held me firmly.

“It’s Osaki, he’s-” He couldn’t speak, he held onto me firmly.

“What?” I asked. He kept on holding onto me firmly, I could feel his fear through the mate bound.

“You’ll be fine okay, why is Osaki doing this to you?” I asked. He didn’t respond to me, he was shaking and breathing heavily.

“You’ll be alright, okay?” I said to him. He nodded and held onto me as though his entire life depended on the touch.

“Osaki,” He said, he was out of breath and I began to fear that he would pass out.

“What shut Osaki?” I asked, he kept on breathing heavily.

“I’m going to die soon.” He said and my heart skipped a beat, what did he mean by this?

“I don’t understand, what do you mean you are going to die soon?” I asked.

“The more I love you, the more my demon kills me.” He said. His Demon is becoming very powerful, I couldn’t even imagine staying without him. So I would have to find a way to get rid of his demon.
