Arriving at the gaming convention, I could see the smile on her face, she looked very shocked by the interior.

“Whoever owns this place must be a Billionaire!” She said. I chuckled, the gaming convention was indeed very beautiful.

“I thought you said you weren’t going to come out of the car?” I asked, she rolled her eyes.

“Well, leaving me in a car with no oxygen left me no choice.” She said, I busted into laughter. I had used a spell to seize all the air in the car, she had no choice but to come outside.

“But then, you love it here!” I said, and she rolled her eyes.

“Mr. Rome, pleasant seeing you here!” A lady walked toward us, I swear I couldn’t even recognize her.

“Sorry, you are?” I asked as politely as possible.

“I’m Evelyn, Evelyn Walker.”

She said, she extended her arm for a handshake, and I shook her.

“You are the graphic designer, right?” I asked she nodded.

“Yes, boss! By the way, we did a great job.” She said, I turned to look at Natalia and she was looking around, her eyes were fixated on a gaming room, I was certain she wanted to go in there.

“Who is this lovely lady?” Evelyn asked, that got Natalia’s attention and she was about to speak but I beat her to it.

“My girlfriend, Natalia Lycus!” I said, Natalia looked shocked but she maintained a straight face.

“Oh my God! Boss your girlfriend is so beautiful, I’m Evelyn!” She extended her arms over to Natalia, Natalia shook her with a forced smile on her face.

“Nice to meet you!” Natalia said, Evely smiled happily.

“Boss if you need me, I’ll be in the creator's room, we have a little problem with the billboard,” Evelyn said, I nodded, and she smiled at Natalia before leaving.

“So, you own this place?” She asked and I nodded.

“But I have never seen you play a video game in my life.” She said, I chuckled.

“That’s because I always teleport here at night,” I said, her eyes grew wide but she gulped and remained silent.

“Do you wish to go in there? It’s very fun!” I said to her. She tried to act as though she wasn’t up for it, but she gave in.

“Sure! I wanna see what’s in there, it looks interesting,” she admitted.

“It’s something you’ve never experienced before. There are a lot of things in there, it’s a real game and it requires teamwork,” I said to her as we took calm strides towards the room. She looked extremely excited to try it out, I could tell from the way she breathed in and out with ease. I smiled and led her in, I was happy we were finally getting along. She entered the gaming room, and a smile spread across her face as soon as she saw the interior.

“This is so beautiful!” She said, I nodded, it was indeed a very beautiful place.

“You mean we are gonna ride on the rides?” She asked and I nodded.

“First one to the top wins!” I said.

“Are we going to ride it, like we are gonna drive it?” She asked and I nodded.

“That’s gonna be fun!” She said I loved the way she was feeling at the moment, I was glad I was making her feel happy.

“Elijah!” I call out to the game director. As soon as he saw me, he turned around with a smile on his face.

“Boss! You’re here?” He said. I chuckled, Elijah had a thing for rhetorical questions. I nodded my head though and walked towards him with Natalia trailing behind me. She was looking around, I couldn’t help but notice the stare Elijah was giving her, he seemed lost and even cleared his throat once he saw her.

“Elijah, meet my girlfriend, Natalia Lycus!” As soon as I said that, his eyes looked as though his brain had been reset.

“Oh, nice meeting you miss!” He said, I didn’t fail to see the glare Natalia sent my way. I chuckled, I was enjoying messing with her.

“Hi!” Natalia said dryly, I couldn’t help but chuckle again.

“What’s so funny weird?” I heard her voice in my mind link.

“Nothing!” I said. She rolled her eyes and focused her attention on Elijah.

“Elijah, why aren’t they people in here?” I asked. It was so weird that people weren’t there.

“We are having some technical difficulty, it’ll be fixed in three days though,” Elijah said, Natalia, pouted sadly.

“Oh okay, send me the reports via email, okay?” I said and he nodded. I turned to Natalia and we turned around and began walking out of the building. She didn’t look happy, I could understand how it feel when you want something and cannot get it.

“Wanna have ice cream?” I asked, she nodded, and I chuckled.

“Okay, let’s go to the kitchen, I’ll make ice cream for you,” I said. She nodded her head no.

“I don’t want your ice cream, let’s just go home.” She said suddenly, I laughed.

“You’ll have to taste my ice cream,” I said, I snapped my arm and we teleported into the empty kitchen of the gamers' convention.

“What if someone had seen you use your powers?” She asked, she sounded very shocked by my actions.

“They wouldn’t have seen us, I blocked that, I’m a smart person,” I said, she rolled her eyes, and I busted into laughter.

“Okay my love, sit here and watch me cook for you,” I said, she stared at me as though I was crazy.

“Something is wrong with you, you’re not normally this nice!” She stated, I chuckled.

“I know, but I love you, and I can change everything for you!” I said, she shook her head no and sat on the kitchen island.

“I can never have feelings for you, you took my brother away from me, I wanna go home now!” She said sternly, I felt my heart wrecking in a way I couldn’t explain. I nodded and snapped my finger, I teleported her to her room and as soon as I arrived in mine, I lay on the bed.

N A T A L I A.

I felt a bit bad about the words I had used on him, but he deserved it, he killed my brother in cold blood and I can never forgive that. Well, I took my bath and decided to watch a movie on Netflix, I sat upright and focused my attention on the movies, today I wasn’t planning on leaving my room again. I spent over four hours watching the movie, I had not even realized it was already night, the only thing that made me understand that It was night, was my stomach, it rumbled.

I decided to get up and go make something to eat, Bradox was meditating so I didn't hear him say anything about the hunger. Well, I headed outside and took very calm strides to the kitchen. As soon as I got there, it was as though a plan was strategized, the power went off and I couldn’t help the scream that escaped my lips.

“Rome!” I called, it was very dark, I immediately formed a fireball and as soon as I turned around, I screamed.

“It’s okay, it’s I, Rome!” He said, my breath suddenly became steady a bit when he informed me that it was him.

“You scared me!” I said to him, he didn’t chuckle. He looked very sad.

“What were you doing here?” He asked.

“I came to make food, I’m hungry,” I said, he nodded.

“Let’s go out and have dinner, I am also hungry.” He said, I wanted to say no, but when my stomach rumbled, I nodded.

“But you left your car at the gaming convention!” I said.

“I have more cars!” He said, I nodded and followed behind him, he was going to lead me outside. Though I had made a fireball to enable us to see our way.

Wren we got outside, we both sat in the car and he immediately ignited it. The drive to the restaurant was a short one because it wasn’t that far from where we were staying. When we got there, we headed out of the car and he sighed a bit.

“Let’s go in!” He said as soon as we hopped out. I nodded and ambulated behind him, the restaurant was very beautiful and no one was in it. It smelled like good food and my mouth began to salivate at the thought of how it’d taste. We took a sit and he immediately called for a waiter who came running towards us.

“Good evening! How may I help you today? What would you love to have?” The man asked Rome.

“Ask the lady!” Rome said, the man turned to me with a smile on his face.

“What would you love to have madam?” The man asked.

“Anything that he wants!” I said, the waiter suddenly became very confused.

“Can we have pizza and soda?” Rome asked, and the waiter nodded.

“Please add extra cheese!” I said and the waiter nodded and walked away.

I and Rome sat in silence, he kept scrolling through his phone and I kept messaging Sophie about how much I’d missed her. Soon, our order was brought, and I couldn’t help the smile that spread across my face at the sight of food. I was very hungry.

“Thank you!” Rome and I said in unison as the waiter walked away. I waited for him to take a slice but he didn’t.

“Aren’t you gonna eat?” I asked, and he shrugged.

“You eat, I’m replying to my emails.”

He said to me, I nodded and took a slice, the pizza tasted so amazing, I felt like ordering one more in case this one might finish.

“Don’t you miss the supernatural realm?” I heard Rome ask, I nodded no.

“Ever since I left there, I’ve been happier, I love it over here,” I said, he nodded while listening to me.

“Hazel misses you, and you need to see her little daughter Jasmine. She is so pretty!” He said, I couldn’t help but smile.

“I might pay them a visit someday,” I said, I took a sip of my soda.

“I didn’t mean to hurt Simone, I promise.” He said. I didn’t know what to say so I chose to act as though he didn’t say a thing to me. I focused my attention on my food and ate it calmly.

“Who is Osaki?” I asked, I immediately saw fear in his eyes.

“Who told you about him?” He asked, he sounded pissed.

“Your dad told me about him, is he your demon?” I asked.

He took in a deep breath. “Osaki is my evil demon, you don’t want to know about him, and can we please not speak about Osaki?” He asked. I nodded with a shrug, but there was a part of me that wanted to know who Osaki was she why he had that effect on him. As soon as we were done eating, I wanted to pay the bills but it turned out that Rome owned the restaurant, it was so shocking and the fact that he hated humans so much was also very weird. Well, when we were done, we decided to go back home. The drive back home was a very peaceful one, Rome looked very disturbed and I was certain it had something to do with Osaki.

Abd I’ll have to find out everything about him and why Rome is so terrified of even the slightest thought of him. Well, when we arrived home, I thanked him for the food and then left for my room. I took a very cool bath and retired to

bed. One thing was on my mind though, and that was, who is Osaki? And why does he affect Rome?
