Chapter 1105: Forget That Woman as Soon as Possible

When it came to Sophia, Victor furrowed his brows and looked at Emma.

Nathan volunteered, "Why not let me take Miss Leer to school?"

Normally, whenever his boss had something to do, he would send him to pick up Miss Leer from the preschool.

Nathan assumed it would be the same this time.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, he noticed that his boss's gaze fell on Emma beside him.

Nathan had a faint sense that something was not right.

Sure enough, the next second, he heard his boss say, "No need. Sophia transferred to a new school, and you don't know where it is."

Nathan widened his eyes in shock.

Did Miss Leer transfer school?

With Miss Leer's situation, how could she transfer just like that?

And it happened without him knowing...

"Emma."

Victor called out to Emma with a gentle tone.

Hearing him address her, Emma felt delighted. "Yes?"

Victor hesitated for a moment before saying, "Could you please take Sophia to her new school?"

He had already decided to sever ties with Olivia. Sophia should face reality and turn over a new leaf.

Emma was even more pleasantly surprised but still showed concern for the little one.

"Sophia seems to dislike the new school. Do we really have to send her? I think it's not necessary for her to go to the preschool. She can study at home."

Victor firmly refused, "Given Sophia's current situation, she needs more social interaction. She needs to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible."

Emma didn't dare to persuade further and nodded in agreement. "Then I'll go wake up Sophia."

After saying that, she turned to leave the room.

Nathan hesitated for a while but couldn't help but speak up, "Sir, do you really want Miss Thornton to take Miss Leer? You can give me the address, and I can go instead."

Victor said, "Let Emma go."

His mother was right. Since he had decided to continue this engagement, Sophia had to learn how to get along with Emma.

After speaking, Victor got up from the bed.

Nathan quickly advised, "Sir, you should rest a bit longer. You don't look well."

Having worked for Victor for so many years, it was the first time Nathan saw his boss drink so much.

Victor furrowed his brows and walked into the bathroom to look at himself in the mirror.

All he saw was a pale complexion and colorless lips in the reflection. His eyes were bloodshot.

Seeing his own appearance, Victor couldn't help but feel self-mockery.

He actually drank like this because of a woman.

Nathan followed closely behind and persuaded him again.

"There are no important schedules today. Please rest a bit longer."

Victor shifted his gaze away from the mirror and said, "No need. The schedule remains unchanged."

He really needed to immerse himself in work now and forget that woman as soon as possible.

Seeing his boss so determined, Nathan couldn't say anything and silently nodded before going downstairs to wait.

As soon as he left Victor's bedroom, he saw Emma still standing at Sophia's bedroom door.

Sophia seemed to still be asleep. Emma cautiously knocked on the door.

Nathan couldn't see her expression clearly from where he stood.

Thinking about Miss Leer's resistance towards Emma, Nathan couldn't help but feel sorry for the little girl.
