Eden Arrived
On the other side, in the north where Swana's mother's inheritance was, Swana gazed at the setting sun. She had been feeling restless all day. And it kept getting worse. Swana knew that Curtis was going through something complicated.
"What is it?" Swana asked herself. "Why do I feel restless all the time? "
Swana immediately remembered Curtis. It had been several days since he left the Palace. Yet he did not seem to want to see her. Swana understood it was due to Curtis' deep disappointment in her.
"I'm sorry Curtis, I may be very selfish but I want a peaceful life like I'm living now," Swana murmured.
No politics, no protests, no complaints and nothing else. Everything Swana was used to in the palace almost drove her crazy. Surprisingly, Curtis did not feel what she was feeling and suppressing. Even though during her tenure as queen, her mind was not fine.
"Swana," Eden appeared from behind a small whirlwind that swirled with the leaves.
Swana almost had a heart attack when she saw the man's appearance. She was really surprised and not used to seeing Eden appear and disappear at will.
"You really look like a ghost, you brat," Swana sneered.
"Ehehehe sorry. I have no other way of meeting you quickly other than appearing with my magic," said Eden.
Yes, of course. The distance between here and the Asaka kingdom is very far. Of course, using magic is the fastest way.
"What's so important that you came to see me?"
Eden sighed and flicked her hand. Shortly afterward, a picture of a wolf confronting a giant monster appeared. The two were engaged in a fierce battle.
"Is that Curtis?" Swana asked.
She could tell it was Curtis. Her senses told her it was Curtis.
"Yes."
"What happened? Where did the monster come from?"
"That's the reason I came here. King Damian asked the previous head wizard to seal the forest in the southern region because of the large number of monsters. A few days ago, I sensed that the seal made by the previous head witch was broken."
"Then?"
Eden showed Swana another picture. It showed a stone in the middle of the forest in the shape of a box with the image of a broken seal. In the center of the stone was something like a black vortex. And monsters were coming out of it.
"That's horrible," said Swana who was wide-eyed at what she saw.
"I'd love to go there, but you know Curtis wouldn't like it," said Eden.
"But you are the only one who can close the monster's door hole," said Swana.
"Yes, but I also can't fight Curtis if he refuses my help, especially now that your mate is fighting one of the strongest monsters. Gogon, a giant-sized, thorn-skinned monster with one eye and an irregular face is very strong. He won't die even if cut or burned."
Swana became even more worried after hearing Eden's explanation.
"Then what should we do?"
Eden actually knew the problem between Curtis and Swana. They were arguing and Curtis was staying away from Swana.
"Let's just let him handle Gogon. Right now I'm sure that your husband will take offense if I offer to help. He will only agree to my help if it's in a forced and compelling situation. "
Yes, Swana could understand what Eden was thinking. Curtis had never lost a battle so far. So he was confident that he could overcome the monster problem. If Eden offered to help then he would definitely not be happy. Or there would be a battle due to past grudges.
"You are right. Please keep an eye on the South. And... thank you for worrying about our kingdom."
Eden smiled slightly. "I just feel that you are my friend so I will help you if you have any difficulties."
Swana was touched by the friendship Eden showed. If only Curtis would forget his problems, surely the Sinclair kingdom would be much stronger.
"Thank you, once again I thank you. "
Eden excused herself after nodding. She teleported to the southern forest area-- where Curtis and the others were fighting Gogon.
"Wow, I didn't think it would be this exciting," muttered Eden who was hiding among the villagers. They were watching this battle with anxious expectations.
Curtis was honestly feeling very tired. He had used so much magic power that his strength was drained. Samuel and Jason were beginning to realize that.
"Commander, do we need to ask the center for help?" Samuel asked.
Curtis, who was still in wolf form, only glanced at him. He laughed at Samuel's suggestion. How could he ask for help from humans who had no power at all. If he lost then it would all be over. This kingdom would become a nest of monsters.
Everyone's fears were realized. It had been a week since Gogon had appeared. And it had also been a week since Curtis had restrained the monster relentlessly by using his powers. Unfortunately, the accumulated power could no longer be tolerated. And he returned to human form.
"Commander!" Shouted Samuel and Jason who immediately ran towards Curtis.
"You guys replace me. I need to gather energy first!" Curtis' stern order.
At the moment Curtis could only even sit down, and fell over when he tried to stand up. His energy was completely depleted.
"Yes, Commander!"
Samuel and Jason immediately transformed themselves into werewolves. Their forms were not as big as Curtis' but they also had the ability to release fire to block Gogon's movements.
Unfortunately, their strength is not as great as Curtis'. So Gogon can go on a rampage and throw the thorns on his body in any direction. This affected the people watching. Some were killed by Gogon's thorns.
"Agrh!"
"Help!"
The cries of pain from the villagers sounded heartbreaking. But Curtis could only grit his teeth because he couldn't do much. He was furious but could do nothing.
"Do you want me to help?"
Curtis turned his head towards someone who appeared. The man smiled wryly and walked towards him.
"You!"
Curtis was now in a dilemma. He knew that the man in front of him could overcome the monsters. But he still couldn't accept it when he remembered his grudge.
