Chapter 159 Are You Crazy? You Want to Kill Him?

Marcus was at home when he woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. He woke with a headache, holding his head as he looked around.

“Ah, my head,” Marcus said, holding his head.

The knocking grew louder. He woke up without understanding what was happening.

“How did I get home?” Marcus asked in confusion.

“I’m coming,” Marcus said, holding his head as he headed toward the door.

“I’m here,” Marcus said as he opened the door, finding Rami standing there with a strange smile.

“Rami?” Marcus whispered in surprise.

“Hi, Marcus. My God, where have you been? I’ve been knocking on the door for half an hour,” Rami said with a smile.

“I was sleeping... but what’s going on?” Marcus asked strangely.

“Oh, nothing. Kaimar sent me. He said he has some papers belonging to Mrs. Evelyn and wants you to come because he’s going somewhere far away and is worried that Mrs. Evelyn might need her papers and not find him,” Rami explained at the door.

Marcus found it strange. Kaimar could have sent him the address in a message. Why would he send his friend instead? This was strange.

“You can leave them there, Rami. I don’t care anymore,” Marcus said in a low voice.

“Huh? What did you say? Are we going to stay at the door bro...?” Rami asked boredly.

“But I don’t know you, I mean I...” Marcus said, but Rami calmly walked past him and entered his house, leaving Marcus only staring at him.

“Wow, your house is nice, bro.”

Marcus only looked at him. He didn’t have time to talk to him or welcome him. All he could think about was his mother and father.

“So, come on, get dressed so we can go,” Rami said as he sat on the sofa.

Marcus walked toward him.

“A lot of things have happened recently, so I can’t go,” Marcus said, scratching the back of his head.

“Don’t tell me I came all this way and in the end you’re not coming? Is Mrs. Evelyn at home?” Rami asked, looking around.

“No, I’m here alone,” Marcus said sadly.

“Good,” Rami said.

“What?” Marcus asked.

“Nothing... Can you get me a glass of water?” Rami asked with a smile.

“Of course,” Marcus said.

An unknown number called Marcus, and he answered.

“Hello, who is this?”

“Marcus, are you at home?” someone asked.

“Sorry, but who are you?” Marcus asked as he locked the door and headed toward the kitchen. Rami only watched him.

“Listen, stay home. I’m coming. Your mother needs you beside her,” someone said.

Marcus’s eyes widened and he trembled.

“What? My mother? Who are you? Is she okay? I...” Marcus said, but he went silent and his eyes widened. Rami was holding him from behind and pressing a cloth over his nose.

“What are you doing? Let me go,” Marcus said in a muffled voice.

“You’ve caused us so much trouble,” Rami said by his ear with an evil smile.

Marcus tried to break free from him, moving wildly as he tried to escape, but he was already becoming numb. He collapsed unconscious beside the phone.

“Hello? Hello? Are you there? Marcus?”

Rami picked up the phone and looked at Marcus before ending the call.

“Damn, this is tiring,” Rami said, looking at Marcus. He headed toward the door and opened it, finding someone standing there.

“Come in, no one is here,” Rami said.

The young man entered the house.

“Where is he?” Kaimar asked.

“In the kitchen,” Rami said as he headed toward the kitchen with Kaimar.

“Rami, Rami, Rami, what can I say to you? You’re simply the best,” Kaimar said as he looked at the unconscious Marcus.

“And now what?” Rami asked boredly.

“Hmm, to the forest, of course, just like we agreed before,” Kaimar said with a side smile.

“What if his mother comes back? We’ll be in trouble,” Rami said nervously.

“What happened? You were excited just now. We’ll leave when things calm down, and if his mother comes back, even better,” Kaimar said wickedly.

Rami looked at him while Kaimar stared at Marcus lying on the floor.

“I told you that you would pay a high price, Marcus,” Kaimar said angrily. He grabbed a sharp knife and looked at Marcus sleeping.

“Whoa, bro, what are you going to do?” Rami asked in shock.

Kaimar looked at him with a threatening expression.

“Rami, why don’t we just kill him?” Kaimar asked sarcastically.

Rami was shocked by his friend’s words.

“Are you crazy? You want to kill him? What about his house too?” Rami asked with wide eyes.

“What’s wrong? Weren’t you welcoming the idea?” Kaimar asked.

“What the hell are you talking about? Kaimar, come to your senses. This isn’t what we agreed on. We agreed to scare him, not kill him... Do you want to become a criminal over something stupid that isn’t worth killing someone for?” Rami asked in shock.

“But he made fun of me, and everyone started laughing at me,” Kaimar said absentmindedly, remembering the day at the university and the day of the fight.

“Listen, Kaimar, I think eating drugs has affected your mind... Let’s just tie him up and get out of here. I regret listening to your advice. Let’s stay away from trouble,” Rami said nervously.

Kaimar laughed, and Rami was confused. There was nothing to laugh about.

“You’re scaring me...” Rami said worriedly.

Kaimar looked like a madman, holding the sharp knife and laughing while the house was somewhat dark.

“I’m not going back on my decision. Thanks for helping me with this, Rami,” Kaimar said coldly.

“My God, you’ve gone crazy. Don’t make me call the police on you,” Rami said fearfully.

“You’ll be a partner in the crime, Rami. Come on, don’t be a coward,” Kaimar said as he moved toward the sleeping Marcus.

Rami stood in front of him.

“Please, Kaimar, stop this joke of yours and let’s go home. You’re not okay right now. We can do this later,” Rami said nervously.

“There won’t be a better chance than this. His mother isn’t here either, so I’m going to do it,” Kaimar said with a tremble.

He moved closer to Marcus, but Rami grabbed his hand.

“Come to your senses,” Rami shouted.

“Get out of my way, Rami,” Kaimar shouted. He pushed him away, and Rami fell to the floor.

“You’ll destroy our lives... We’ll go to prison, and he’ll die. There’s no point. Please listen to me... We’ll carry this shame forever... Please,” Rami begged.

Kaimar stood in front of Marcus, getting the knife ready.

“You don’t know how much I’ve dreamed of this moment, Rami,” Kaimar said with a side smile.

“No,” Rami shouted and closed his eyes.

When Kaimar was about to stab him directly in the chest, he was kicked away by someone. Neither Rami nor Kaimar recognized him. Kaimar fell, and the knife fell beside him. He looked to the side.

“Who are you?” Kaimar asked in shock.

“Your hell,” the man said as he moved toward him. Kaimar stepped backward, looking nervous.

“Oh, the cat is scared now,” the man said mockingly.

The man grabbed him by the collar.

“You’re a fucking sick man, Kaimar,” the man said.

Kaimar looked at him strangely and furrowed his brows.

“Who are you? And how do you know my name?” Kaimar asked strangely.

“That doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you’ll regret what you’ve done,” the man said. With that, he punched Kaimar, knocking him unconscious instantly.

Rami stood up and wanted to run because he was extremely afraid, but he found several guards at the door and froze in place.

“You’re coming with us too... Rami,” the man said with a smile.

Rami turned toward him, trembling badly.

“Believe me, I have nothing to do with this...” Rami said nervously and trembling, as they looked extremely dangerous and were carrying weapons too.

“I don’t believe that. You’re going, which means you’re going... You got yourselves into serious trouble,” the man said sarcastically. He looked at the guard behind Rami. Rami wanted to turn around, but the guard hit him on the head, knocking him unconscious.

“Take them all,” Martin said angrily.

The guards bowed.

“Yes, sir.”
