Chapter 91

Ariel's POV

The next day Brandon went with me to school. Brandon and Landon were more worried than they were before we found out people were questioning who I was. They called for a Pack Meeting after school so we could tell everyone I was related to Tabatha. I wasn't sure everyone would believe it, but I hoped no one questioned it too much.

Brandon stayed by my side the entire day at school. Unlike Landon, Brandon wasn't as friendly with everyone, and everyone avoided him. The jocks knew better than to try and sit with us at lunch. I was sure Brandon would tear them apart if they tried to.

He sat me on his lap and fed me my lunch. I didn't complain because I knew Brandon was the more possessive between him and Landon.

"Thank Goddess, school is over," Brandon said, and I laughed.

"I thought you liked school when you were in high school," I said

"I did, but I didn't like those guys staring at you," Brandon said, shocking me.

"No one was starring at me," I replied

"Oh, yes, they were. You have no idea how many of them were looking at you as we walked down the hall. They are lucky I didn't beat their ass for looking at my Mate the way they were," Brandon said, and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, Princess. You know what I will do to you," Brandon said, causing my core to tighten.

"Yes, I do, and maybe I should roll my eyes at you again," I said

"I AM IN THE CAR," Laura screamed, causing my cheeks to redden. I forgot she was in the car with us.

"Sorry, Laura," I said

"Yeah, sis. Sorry," Brandon said with a laugh.

"I Swear, since you became fully mated, you guys have been worse than before, and that is saying something," Laura mumbled.

"We will finish this when we get home," Brandon Mind-linked. When we arrived at the Packhouse, Landon was outside waiting for us. He ran to the car with a worried look on his face.

"We need to get Ariel in the house," Landon said

"Why? What happened," Brandon asked.

"Keven and Leo are missing," Landon said

"What do you mean they are missing? Why didn't you mind-link me earlier?" Brandon asked

"I found out right before you pulled up. One of the Pack Guards mind-linked me and told me they weren't in their cell," Landon said

"Fuck. We need to get Ariel inside, and we need to find Leo and Keven," Brandon said

"I told you we should have killed them earlier," Landon said as we walked up to our floor. Mom was waiting for us there.

"Oh, thank Goddess, the two of you are alright," mom said, hugging Laura and then hugging me.

"We have to find Keven and Leo. I will have Gabriel and a few other Guards stay and guard the door. I want all of you to stay in here. Don't let anyone inside the room, and we will be back soon," Brandon said

"Okay. Where could they have gone?" I asked worriedly. I didn't want Keven or Leo near me. I was sure they were planning on doing something to me after everything that happened.

"We will find them, Princess. They are most likely hiding in the woods," Brandon said, kissing me softly. Landon kissed me as well, and they both walked out of the room. Mom locked the door behind them and walked over to where I was standing.

"Don't worry, Ariel. They will be okay. I am going to make us something to eat. I am sure you two are hungry," Mom said

"Thanks, mom," Laura said

"You two sit and watch a movie and relax. " Everything will be fine," Mom said and walked into the kitchen. I hoped she was right.

Landon's POV

"I told you we should have killed the both of them earlier," I said as we walked around the woods looking for Keven and Leo. I was sure they were somewhere close and were planning on getting a hold of Ariel. That was never going to happen. They would die as soon as I got my hands on them.

"I know, but you knew the Council was on our asses. I was trying to hold off until they stopped showing up," Brandon said

"There was no reason to hold off. They both tried to hurt our Mate, and they deserve to die," I replied

" I know that, Brother. Let's find them, and then we will take care of them," Brandon replied

"Yes, we will. When I find them, they are dead," I replied

We looked around for about two hours, and there was no sight of them anywhere. I couldn't even get a scent of them. We had called for some of our best trackers to look around and see if they could find something, but they also couldn't

"They must be working with another witch," Brandon said

"How is that possible when they were in a cell all this time?" I asked. Something wasn't right. How could they escape the cell when it was heavily guarded daily? That was when the realization hit me.

"I think someone from the inside is helping them," I said, and Brandon stopped walking and looked at me." How could they have escaped without help when we have men guarding them?" I added.

"I think you are right. We need to check the security cameras in the Jail," Brandon said, and we headed to the Jail.
