Chapter 59; Let's Play
Returning to Cheska and her captor
Garrett came to a halt and gulped for breath. He was exhausted from the repeated strokes of his claws. "Damn this weak body!" he said, his eyes still keen.
"Garrett, you should come to a halt. Your father and the gang value that girl. I'm worried if you keep going, she'll die and your father's goal will be thwarted."
"Who cares if she dies? This chick is insane! Imagine how many cuts I gave her flesh, yet I didn't even hear a whimper! And I despise it!" Garrett answered, looking at Cheska with disinterest.
Garrett's companion glanced at Cheska as well. She didn't say anything as the attack began. Garrett's rage is heightened by the fact that he is aware of the latter's actions. He will not stop pushing and belittling you until you are on your knees. "Cheska Mcbride is no longer moving; her breathing is stopping."
"I told you I didn't mind if she died! I've murdered a lot of people, but my father has never been angry with me!" Garrett deliberated. He raised Cheska's chin to have a closer look at her condition.
Cheska's face is bloodied, yet her injuries have mysteriously healed. Although she feels every scrape on her skin, it is healing quicker than previously; yet, it will surely bleed.
And because of the blood, Garrett missed the mystery surrounding Cheska. "Huh! "You would not have suffered this tragedy if you had just shut your mouth and stopped spewing nonsense taunts at me!" he exclaimed, dropping her chin.
The scarf that had been knotted over Cheska's head had totally fallen to the floor. Garrett, on the other hand, missed the mark on her forehead because he turned around and approached his bodyguard.
"Tell my father that the girl tried to flee, which is why we chased her, and she fought and died in the process."Inform him that we have no option except to harm her. Garrett gave the order, his smile never leaving his lips. Despite feeling glad that he had unleashed his rage on Cheska, he still felt inadequate.
"Do you believe the Supreme Lord will accept our story?" Cheska's wounds are on purpose.
Garrett slammed his fist into his subordinate's face. "Do exactly what I said! My father will not be suspicious! And if he discovers the truth, there will be no issue since my father loves me!" he boasted.
The subordinate has no option but to agree. "Then I will go and inform the Supreme Lord."
Garrett indicated his approval by waving his arms. "I'll stay here and play for a little while longer before returning to my room."
Garrett's minions had little option but to leave their leader, as well as Cheska, in the cage. When the cell door closed, his gaze returned to Cheska. "Now that there is no one to interfere and stop my playing, I can do whatever I want with you!" he grinned.
Garrett was astonished when Cheska opened her eyes as he approached.
"Would you like to play?" "Then let's play," she grumbled, smiling. Cheska shatters the chain around her wrist in an instant. She then snapped the chain that was attached to her foot with her own hands.
Garrett, who was stunned, did not move; he only gazed at Cheska's beaming face. However, it drew his attention to her ruby eyes and the mark on her forehead. "Wh-what exactly is that mark?" Garrett stepped back, mumbling a query.
He felt the terror he had only felt for his father for the first time. "... as well as your eyes!" "How did you get your crimson eyes?"
"Hmm... Do I have to respond to your question?" I assumed you were aware of your father's strategy. Or maybe he didn't say anything to you... Perhaps you don't know anything and he didn't want to tell you since you're frail and worthless..." Cheska snarled, took up the scarf, and knotted it over her head, without looking at Garrett.
"Nonsense! My father had faith in me! I am neither helpless or ineffective!" Cheska's teasing of Garrett rapidly converted dread into hate. This was one of his flaws; he despised the truth about himself.
"Deep down within, you know what I'm saying is true... You're concealing your faults in order to seem powerful! Huh! You tormented me for almost an hour, yet the hurt you caused on me is little!" Cheska exerted herself and took a step forward to bridge the gap between herself and Garrett.
Garrett's emotions burst as a result; he couldn't take it any longer. He reactivated her claws and assaulted Cheska once again. His attack's trajectory was uncertain. Garrett's emotions overtook his mind, allowing Cheska to easily shake him.
"Can you tell me what your father's plan is?" If your father really believes in you, you should see what he has in store for me!" Cheska remarked this while laughing. She did not assault him because she wanted to discover what the Supreme Lord had in store for her.
"My father will seed the next king with your body!" He said you were a healer, which is why he sought you out and intended to use you to eliminate Alpha and Luna of the Thunder Pack!"
"Can you tell me about your father?" What is the name of the Supreme Lord?!" Cheska was no longer surprised by the prophesy since she already knew about it.
Garrett, though, did not respond. He concentrated on striking repeatedly, not stopping until he struck her. "Wrong move!" says the narrator. Garrett responded, his claws sinking into Cheska's chest.
Cheska focused her gaze on her chest, where Garrett's claws were embedded. Because a claw has reached her heart, she is experiencing anguish. However, the depth is insufficient to penetrate her heart. This, however, is enough for Cheska to shut off her humanity.
"Huh! It doesn't matter if your eyes are red! I don't care what my father has in store for you! You should not make fun of me or insult me! Yes, I am weak, but I am deadly! I'm really excellent at murdering!"The blade of my claws is strong enough to pierce your heart!" Garrett screamed and pushed his claws further into Cheska's chest. He aims to murder her permanently.
