Chapter ; The Mystery Light

"Do you think I'll be scared of you just because you're Alpha Matthew's sister and the daughter of Luna Maurice?" Huh! My dad is the head of the board! Everyone follows him, which means that if everyone is seen right now, neither your mother nor anybody else will be able to assist you! Samantha replied and took the knife out of Cheska's gut. She didn't show any remorse because she had hated Cheska for a long time.

"You know how lucky you are... If you'd met me when I was younger, you would have died right away, I'm sure." Cheska said as she touched the stomach where the sword had cut it. The accident didn't bother her at all. However, Cheska is most concerned about her white shirt, which is stained with blood and has a hole in it. If Matthew learns about it later, he will most likely lose his cool and confine her to his room for the rest of the day.

"Don't act as if you're strong when you're not. I can literally feel the pain that you are going through oozing out of you. Even though the damage I did will get better, you can't say it doesn't hurt!" Samantha blew up when she saw Cheska not care about the wound.

On the other hand, Cheska smiled and lifted the shirt. "Wound?" "It's been healed for a long time," she said, showing off her smooth stomach. She was hurt, but you could only see them because her clothes were torn and there was dried blood on her skin.

Samantha was shocked by what she saw. There has never been an accident that only lasted a few seconds. Samantha's eyes get big with fear as she looks at Cheska. She knows that even an alpha needs a few minutes to heal from a wound. "Whose are you?" "How did you pull that off?"

But Cheska didn't say anything. She moved very quickly, and her claws went after Samantha.

"Ugh!" Cheska's claws sank into Samantha's skin, causing her to scream in agony. She couldn't believe how quickly the situation occurred; she didn't even see the gesture she made.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you." Stay away from me, because I won't give you another warning. I've changed, as I've said before... But the next time you try a trick, you'll see how it turns out." After Samantha's words, Cheska left her. She marches to the practice field with a determined look in her eye, eager to put her plan into action.

Cheska got to the training spot and joined the rest of the group. They have a lot to do. So, she thought no one would notice that her clothes were covered with blood, but she was wrong.

"What's wrong with you?" It was Ava, and she came up quickly with her eyes on Cheska's clothes.

Before Cheska could say anything, Samantha's figure showed up... Everyone noticed how pale her skin was and how hurt she was on her chest.

"Did you and Ava just get into a fight?"

"She started it, and I was even nice to her because I gave her a chance to hurt me... But the jerk had forgotten that I was a wolf! She keeps her claws hidden and uses a metal blade." Cheska explained right away and kept going.

The other member of the pack goes up to Samantha. But before they can get close, she falls down and passes out.

"I think you are in a lot of trouble!" Ava said this while she was following the other people who were lifting Samantha.

"Why me? Samantha and a friend dragged me to a place. "I only defend myself," said Cheska.

"I don't think your explanation will convince the leader of the council. You hurt a member of your own pack, and she is also the leader's daughter." Ava's answer was a sign.

"Huh! I am, after all, my father and mother's daughter! I, like her, am precious! So I'm not scared!" Cheska made a defiant snorting sound and walked toward the spring, ignoring the noise of the rest of the group.

In the spring, Cheska went swimming because she didn't want to watch Matthew and Xander fight. Because the spring in question is not very deep, she doesn't have to worry about dying.

"Huh, I wonder what happened to Samantha." Why did she have a seizure? I didn't dig my claws in deep enough because I didn't want to kill her..." Then Cheska shook her head to clear her mind of Samantha.

"Ha! I'm fine with it! I won't waste my time on her because she isn't important enough to care about." Then, Cheska focused on getting Thunder's mark off of her.

"A short time went by. The very bottom of the lake began to glow, and the light began to gather around Cheska until she dove upward into the air. People quickly noticed the bright light because it went up into the sky.

It surprised a lot of people in the venue and made a lot of noise. So, the group decided to put off the game.

"Leonil, check the edges... Everyone, please come into the pack house." Matthew said, "I'll look into it." After getting all of the directions, he ran quickly in the direction of the light. On his way, he saw some of his pack members acting out, so he stopped for a moment to find out what was going on.

" Alpha, its Samantha. Her condition is dire. She had a fight with Cheska earlier, so she punished her."

Matthew focused on Samantha's cut, which wasn't very deep. This showed that Cheska didn't want to kill Samantha. "Where exactly is Cheska right now?"

"She's going for a swim in the fountain." One of the people there spoke up.

Matthew didn't wait around. He ran as fast as he could to the spring. "What on earth did you get yourself into this time?" He knew that the light was coming from the spring, where Cheska was, even though he was being grumpy.

Another thing that took Matthew by surprise was when he looked back and saw Alpha Connor and the other alphas rushing in the same direction he was. "Oh, no! This is not good enough! I don't know what Cheska is up to! I don't want them to see her!"

He ran as fast as he could because he was afraid of Cheska. Matthew can easily beat everyone else because he is the fastest and knows the quickest way to the spring.

When he got there a few minutes later, the bright light had gone out, but Cheska was still sleeping in the air.

"Holy hell! "What is this, exactly? Matthew got back at Cheska and jumped up high to catch her.

A few minutes after Matthew had Cheska, Alpha Connor came. He looked around right away for the light that had everyone's attention. "What's going on here?" I swear I smelled someone here before... How did it disappear while I was looking?"

A few minutes later, the other Alphas came and, like Connor, checked out the area... No one saw what that light was, though.
