Chapter 115
Nina froze in place, nervous and restless over a problem she didn't even cause. Meanwhile, Gavin didn't seem too pleased with the impudence of his subordinates. 
"Okay, next time tell me if you want to do something!" He said. 
"Okay, I understand. Excuse me!" Nina immediately walked away and didn't care what Captain Gavin would do to Bella. On the one hand, she felt a little annoyed because it seemed that scary man had a bad impression on her. 
Nina took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Three meters in front of her, Depney who had been looking for her for an hour ago, finally managed to find the person she was looking for. 
Seeing her face at the door of Gavin's study made Depney happy, with a beaming face, Depney approached her while carrying several sheets of paper in her hand. 
"Nina, here you are!" Depney call her with full of joy. Her exaggerated reactions always attract attention and laughter from her co-workers. 
"I'm sorry, Depney. I'm really sorry!" She said, looking down regretfully. 
"Never mind, no need to apologize. But, where have you been? I've been looking for you!" 
"Erm...that, I was helping Bella with the report in Captain Gavin's room. Sorry, I should have told you first!" 
"Is that so? Ok, that's fine. Then, come on! We have a lot of work to finish. Especially for the theme of tomorrow's event. Do you know who the guest stars are?" 
"W-who?" 
"Aiden Supernova!" 
"W-wwhat? Aiden is the guest star?" Nina who heard that Aiden would be on the talk show tomorrow, was a little surprised. Although it's not uncommon for Aiden to be invited to an event. But this is the first time she is involved in it. 
"Why are you surprised? Do you know him?" 
"Ah...n-no, that's not it, I just-" 
"Hahahaha...there are so many Aiden fans, you could say this is the second time he has been invited to Mr Kevin's program," 
"Second time? Does that mean you've had it before?" 
"Yeah, maybe about a year ago. Actually, this time I wanted to invite Samantha the famous designer to attend. But, he refused to come together. So, what can I do!" 
Hearing Depney's statement made Nina think for a moment, regarding Aiden's reasons for refusing to attend if Samantha was invited. From the look on Depney's face, it seemed as if there was no significant suspicion if one of the couples refused. Shouldn't the event organizers be suspicious about their relationship? Rven though no one party is actually allowed to interfere, it still feels strange. 
"I have to ask him, why didn't he say that he was invited to Mr Kevin's program tomorrow. Aiden, watch over you, okay?" She thought annoyed that Aiden was trying to hide something from her. 
"Nina, what's wrong?" 
"Ah...no, it's nothing. Then, let's finish!"

 
"What's wrong? Why does your face look so disgusting?" Aiden asked. He shuddered when he saw Nina's face that looked sour. 
"What are you doing tomorrow?" 
"You already know, huh?" 
"Know? What do you mean?" 
"You don't need to pretend to provoke me like that. I know you really want to ask why I didn't say that tomorrow I will come to your work place. Is that right?" Aiden chuckled while driving his car. It was nice to see Nina showing her annoyed face like that. 
"You did it on purpose, huh?" 
"Hahaha...I'm sorry, but I was planning to surprise you. But that's impossible, right?" 
"Of course not, I'm working there. Besides, why would you refuse to attend if Samantha was invited?" 
"You seem to know a lot, huh?" 
"Never mind, just tell me. Why do you mind if she's invited?" 
"I guess that's out of the question. You already know the answer!" 
"I just thought you were trying to run away!" 
Aiden who felt provoked, immediately pulled over and stopped his car. Nina knew the question she asked was like a satire for Aiden. However, Nina is not one to mince words when something makes her uneasy. 
"You think I'm running away? Do you think so?" Asked Aiden who was annoyed with the baseless accusations about him that seemed to run away from the problems he had created. 
"Yes, I think you shouldn't avoid her so blatantly. Especially if the news of your parting with her hasn't been heard yet!" 
"You really are annoying, huh? Do you think I should come with her hand in hand and do whatever she says in front of everyone? I'm not that crazy!" 
"Okay, so what do you think your current relationship with her is like? You didn't even say anything. If you suddenly dodge, everyone will suspect you!" 
"Why should I care? I'm under no obligation to explain to everyone I meet that I'm not his girlfriend anymore. If you're that scared, you don't need to worry. I'll tell everyone that our relationship is over!" 
Aiden is really emotional, for him this is painful. It was as if Nina couldn't put her trust in him. He knows that as a man he must be able to take a stand. However, given his current position, acting rashly and rashly was not the right choice for him to make.

"Are you busy? I have something to talk to you about!"

"Really? But your mom said you were only going out for a while. I know you're with that woman, right?" 
"What do you want to talk about?" 
"It feels bad to be on the phone, I thought we could meet in person!" 
"If you have something to say, say it now. I'm listening!" 
"I don't understand, why can't you ever give me the chance to meet you alone? What are you avoiding?" 
"I was just avoiding your formidable power that could easily affect everyone. So it's better if I avoid it!" 
"What? The power to influence other people? Hahaha...I didn't know you were praising me or insulting me. This seems to be getting interesting, Aiden. Are you challenging me to a game of hide and seek?" 
"If you think like that, maybe!" 
"Ahahaha...my darling. I think you've picked the wrong opponent if you want that game. You know what? I'm always the winner!"
