Chapter 116
"I don't understand, why don't you want to give up?" 
"I'm not going to give up until I get what I want, Aiden! So, I hope we can meet now because I have something to talk to you about. We'll meet at a regular cafe, ok my dear?" Samantha said before ending the call. 
Aiden chuckled, for him this really sucks. Why did he always have to deal with women like that? Although some time lately he has been trying to avoid it. However, if he remembered what Nina had told him that he was like a coward for continuing to run away from the problems that involved him, it humiliated his pride as a man. 
So, like it or not, Aiden still follows the flow just to find the right opportunity to end it all. After he finished thinking about all the various considerations that were weighing him down, he came to the cafe that Samantha had told him about. 
Sure enough, when Aiden entered the cafe, Samantha's face was already visible in the corner of the room waving affectionately at him as if nothing had happened between the two of them. 
"I've been waiting for you, come sit down!" Samantha said while leading Aiden to the table he had ordered. 
Aiden who was reluctant to respond, could only follow where Samantha took him. Right when he sat down, a waiter immediately served a cup of coffee for him on the table. 
"You even ordered me coffee?" He asked half-heartedly sipping the coffee in the cup. 
"Of course, I already know your favorite coffee anyway!" 
"Okay, what exactly do you want to talk about? Better say it now because I don't have much time!" 
"Why the rush? Do you have other plans?" 
"I have to help my mom get ready because tomorrow she will be home!" 
"Really? Why didn't you tell me that tomorrow she will come home? If so, I will prepare-" 
"You don't need to bother, besides I don't have to tell you everything, do I? So I'm begging you, Sam. We'd better end this, I think it's best for both of us!" 
"Best for both of us or best for you? You have fun with that woman, while I suffer from losing you, is that it?" 
"Suffering? You never even had me, remember? We never started anything, so stop acting like we are a loving couple!" 
"Listen, Aiden! I don't know why you insist on rejecting me even when you haven't tried. I would give everything for you, Aiden. My soul, my body and everything I have I would give you. So try to look inside me, I I'm sure you'll understand how I feel about you!" 
"You sound so ridiculous! Your words just now are like you're offering me to sleep with you. Don't you think so?" 
"Yeah, what's wrong with that? I don't know any woman you've slept with and I just wanted to show you that I'm the best at it!" 
Aiden paused for a moment and then started laughing at Samantha's ridiculously serious face. He had never known a woman to be so enthusiastic about offering her body to a man, never mind that he wasn't the least bit interested in her. 
"You ask me how many women have spent the night with me? The answer is you probably won't believe it. But Sam, thanks for the offer because I already have someone I can channel my feelings into, so you better do it with another guy!" 
"Wow...how naive, is that woman so great that you are not interested in trying with others?" 
"How about that? Maybe she's not that great and she can't keep up with me either, but to be honest that's what I like about her. Because she can make me feel comfortable being myself. So, forgive me!" 
Hearing Aiden's refusal made Samantha's frustration even bigger. Humiliation, this was the first humiliation Samantha had experienced in her life. No man can resist her charms as a woman, even men out there will try to do anything to be able to date her. 
"If you have nothing more to say, I will leave now!" 
"Wait! We're still not done!" 
"Okay, what else do you want?" 
"I heard that tomorrow you will be a guest star on Mr. Kevin's talk show, right?" 
"Yes, what is up?" 
"Actually I was also invited to attend the event, but for some reason they postponed it and changed my schedule for next week. Do you know something?" 
"Do you think I'm the one involved behind the scenes? I don't think it's any of my business!" 
"Really? I hope you weren't involved. Because I thought you were the one who refused to come with me!" Samantha stared intently. Even though she doesn't want to admit it, to be honest, Samantha's intimidating look in her eyes looks very scary. Aiden realized that this woman was really hard to beat. 
"If you have nothing else to talk about, I'll be leaving now. I'll pay for the coffee, bye?" He said as he got up from his place leaving Samantha who was still transfixed looking at Aiden's back which was getting away. 
"I know this has something to do with you, Aiden. You'll see, I'll see for myself!" 
Samantha opened her cell phone and called a man who was once a part of her past. A man who once adored her, but Samantha easily left. 
"Hello Victor, how are you? You still remember me, right?" 
"Samantha, huh? Do you think I can forget you?" 
"Of course not! Are you busy? Is there something I want to ask you?" 
"You know I'm not going to answer questions over the phone!" 
"Okay, how about we meet? I honestly miss you a little!" 
"Hahaha...you make me laugh, Sam! Since when can you miss someone? Has your life motivation changed now?" 
"Yeah, looks like I got the punishment for leaving you in the past!" 
"Really? I'm glad to hear that, did you suffer a lot?" 
"Yeah...a little, that's why I wanted to meet you. Do you have time?" 
"Okay, where shall we meet?" 
"You can come to my house tonight, we will have dinner together!"
