~Ch. 19~ Bottom of the mountain

Olivia points through the trees, “Look!” Sterling eyes followed where she was pointing. She continues excitedly, “It’s the mountain!”

Before Sterling can say anything, she starts to run to the mountain. He runs after her because his gut feeling is saying that something is wrong. Her necklace starts to glow and she comes to an abrupt stop.

“What is that!” Sterling is saying, but he’s not asking he’s more concerned than anything.

The ground starts to shake underneath her feet, “Aaahh!” It’s too late, she’s slipping into the earth.

“Olivia!” He shouts as he grabs her hand.

“Don’t let go!” She cries out.

“I won’t!” He shouts back.

“Aaahh!” She screams in a scared tone.

“What is it, what’s wrong?” He can see. New kind of fear in her eyes.

“Something’s got me, it’s pulling on my foot!” She cries out to him.

He tries to look down to see what it is, but all he hears is hissing. Panic fills his eyes, “Give me your elder hand!” He demands.

“What do you see?” Her hands are starting to get sweaty.”

“Give me your other hand!” he shouts.

“I can’t!” She screams.

“Why not?” he’s getting frustrated.

“It has my hand!” She screams at the top of her lungs!

All of a sudden, something jumped on the top of her head. It is a vampire. “Hello, your Majesty!” it hisses at him before pulling her down.

“No!” He screams after her.

She follows the person to the ground. The vampire is still sitting on her head. When he gets off of her, he backs away.

Her Medallion is still glowing and he notices it. “Magic!” He screams.

“Get your hands off of me!” Sterling screams.

“Sterling!” She shouts. “Aah!” Is her reaction as she is lifted into the air and floats back to the top.

sterling is being held captive by a magical bond. Olivia turns to see who it is, and she can tell immediately that they are witches. She tries to run to him, but it’s of no use.

“Let go of him!” She demands!

“Don’t speak to me, you filthy human!” The witch cackles.

She turned her attention to Sterling, “If it isn’t the big bad Alpha King himself?”

She gives Olivia another dirty look, “Is this the human mate that you sacrificed everything for?”

She turns her mean mug on him, “Disgraceful!”

Olivia’s charm turns a different color. The youngest-looking witch points to it, “She has an anti-danger gem!”

The old and angry ones scold, Olivia, “How did you get that?”

Olivia ignores her question and remains silent. The witch cackles, “Ignoring me and it’s changing colors?”

Olivia’s hi there, wandering them around them sizing them up. This makes all of them laugh. The youngest one is cocky., “What are you going to do? It shows that you’re dangerous so what is it that you plan to do?”

Olivia’s voice turns dark and cold, “This is your last chance to let go of my mate!”

Everyone, but the youngest one laughs. “What are you going to do about it?” She taunts.

Olivia’s eyes glow and her voice booms, “I’m going to take your broom and I’m gonna shove it up her butt and then I’m gonna take her broom when I’m gonna smack her in the head with it and then I’m gonna take my fist and I’m gonna shove it up your…”

The witches cut her off by whispering among each other about changing her eye color. Trying to figure out who she is. They don’t understand how this human has any power.

“I’m not a human!” She cackles!

“What?” The youngest one asked in confusion.

“I know a human when I see a human!” the oldest one objects.

Olivia’s voice changes when she taunts them, “What do you call a half human half bitch?”

The oldest scolds her, “You can’t be!”

The youngest is still confused, “Can’t be what!”

“A medium!” The oldest replies, and they all gasp.

“If you were medium, I’d know!” The oldest says in irritation.

“Prove it!” One of the other ones jokes.

“How?” Olivia asks.

The oldest seems to be thinking. She jumps in the air as if she has a brilliant idea. Shouting, “ communicate with the spirits!”

The Youngest scoffs at her, “ brilliant ideas, sis!”

The oldest nods in agreement, but the youngest continues in a sarcastic tone, “How are we going to be able to tell if she’s actually talking to someone when we can’t see you hear them?”

The oldest rolls her eyes, “I’m assuming that you have a better idea?”

The youngest nods in excitement. Turning to Olivia, “If you truly are medium, then why don’t you attach your spirit from your body?”

The oldest slaps herself in the face with her hand, “That’s basically the same thing that I said!”

The youngest turns to her argumentatively, “It is not! Communicating with the spirit is not the same thing is taking your spirit out of your body!”

The oldest mimics her younger sister, “How are you going to be able to see her spirit leave its body when you can’t see it?”

The youngest tilter head back and irritation, “I hate when you’re right!”

The oldest is irritated, “And I hate when you’re right!”

They look as if they’re about to fight when the third one turns to Olivia, “If you are truly medium then why don’t you raise skeletons from the ground?”

The youngest and the oldest look at each other and then look at the third one and pride. “That’s a great idea!” They encourage her.

Turning to Olivia, they cross their arms, all three instinct with each other. “Yeah, medium! Raise the dead!” They stare at her in an intimidating way.

Sterling places his hand on her arm, “I don’t think you’re ready for that yet!”

Olivia gives him a knowing look, but reminds him, “I don’t think I have much choice!”

She sits down on the ground, crisscross, applesauce. Placing her hands on the ground, she starts to mutter to herself. As the time passes she feels like she’s going to fail.

out of irritation, she swirls circles into the ground with your fingers, “If anyone can hear me, please come and save me!”

The witches all start to laugh. “You’re so pathetic!” The oldest says. “What are we going to do with them?” The third one seems unsure. “We kill them and sacrifice them.!” The middle one gasps for air, “Must we?”

Their words are cut off when the ground starts to shake. They stare at the ground in shock as it splits in half. Separating them from the medium. They turn to look at her and her whole body is glowing.
