Chapter 160
I got goosebumps all over from disgust and stared at him coldly with contempt, "Get lost! I'm not interested in you."
But the man acted like he had it all figured out.
"No need to play hard to get with me. You just want to kiss, right? Your boyfriend doesn't know how to treat you right, so let me."
I rolled my eyes and said irritably, "You're crazy! Get lost now, or you're dead meat when my boyfriend hears about this!"
"What's there to be afraid of? He's not here right now. Just come with me."
As he spoke, the man reached out to grab my arm.
Before he could touch me, a low, cold voice cut in, "Go where with you?"
The man froze, turning to look at Jason with guilt written all over his face.
"Nothing, you must have heard wrong."
The man tried to slip away.
Jason's eyes narrowed dangerously.
He handed me the cake and said gently, "Go wait for me in the car."
I took the cake but didn't obediently get in the car. Instead, I secretly followed behind Jason.
That disgusting man was about to get beaten up—of course I couldn't miss this show.
I followed Jason at a distance, all the way to an inconspicuous corner outside the mall.
I watched as Jason kicked the man to the ground, his fists landing solidly on the man's body.
Punch after punch, the dull thuds so loud I could hear them from far away.
"I was wrong, I was really wrong!"
The man cried out in pain, begging desperately.
Jason grabbed his hair, yanked him up, and kicked him hard in the stomach.
The man immediately flew back, crashed heavily into the wall, and fell down.
I couldn't help but gasp.
Just watching made it hurt!
I wonder how many bones that guy broke?
But he deserved it, disgusting thing, he had it coming!
Jason beat him for a long time before finally stopping.
The man lay on the ground, crying his eyes out, looking at Jason in terror, but without even the strength to dodge.
Seeing that Jason had finished and was about to leave, I quickly turned to retreat first.
The next moment, someone grabbed me by the collar.
Jason raised an eyebrow at me, "Didn't I tell you to wait in the car?"
I hid so far away and still got caught?
I immediately put on a smile and hugged his arm, saying, "I just couldn't bear to be away from you, and Jason, you look so handsome when you fight! Your masculine energy is off the charts, I'm completely mesmerized by you!"
The corners of Jason's mouth unconsciously curved up.
"Really that handsome?"
I nodded repeatedly. Just as I was about to speak, Jason pulled me into his arms.
He cupped the back of my head with one hand and leaned down to kiss me hard.
Not far away, the man was still moaning in pain, while Jason dominantly explored every inch of my mouth.
The passionate kiss made my cheeks burn hot.
Jason really—I clearly told him to only kiss at home, but he still does this outside!
I glared at him irritably, but before I could say anything, the man beat me to it.
"Don't look at me like that."
Jason covered my eyes with one hand, his hot breath brushing against my ear, "I won't be able to control myself."
Pervert!
Complete and utter pervert!
I wanted to glare at him, but was afraid of giving him satisfaction, so I forcibly held back the urge and kept my head down, avoiding eye contact with Jason.
His slightly smug chuckle sounded in my ear.
He took my hand and led me toward the parking lot.
"Let's go, we're going home."
That evening, the lights in the master bedroom were off, the curtains drawn open, silvery moonlight spilling in.
Jason's eyes were remarkably bright in that moment.
He leaned down to kiss me, his voice low and husky with a seductive quality.
"Are my kissing skills good?"
My eyes widened.
How was I supposed to answer with my mouth blocked?
Jason didn't care about that.
Amidst the constant motion, Jason asked again, "Why aren't you saying anything?"
I nodded with difficulty, squeezing out a word through clenched teeth, "Good."
"Do you like it?"
I pressed my lips together.
His thrusting suddenly sped up.
"Like it, I like it!"
"Good girl. Good children who tell the truth deserve rewards. Let's continue."
Bad man, so petty!
I didn't do anything, and yet he just keeps tormenting me!
When I woke up the next day, it was almost noon.
I rubbed my temples hard, sighing inwardly.
Since getting together with Jason, my life has really become more and more degenerate.
When did I ever used to sleep in this late?
I grabbed my phone to check the time and saw a message from Jason.
Jason: [Breakfast is on the table. Jessica came to the office with me today, class is cancelled, everything's arranged here, don't worry.]
Only then did I relax.
After a quick wash, I went downstairs to eat.
Tamsin had returned to the Old Mansion, and Jessica wasn't home either—the first floor was completely quiet.
Rather than breakfast, it was more like brunch.
After eating, I changed clothes and dove back into the sunroom to work.
The longer I spent working in the sunroom, the more I could feel genuine joy from within.
I really loved this kind of life.
After scanning all the flowers in the sunroom, my gaze landed on an empty space to the side.
I didn't plan to put more flower stands there.
I was thinking of putting a table and two chairs there instead.
That way, when I had free time, I could sit here drinking tea or coffee while admiring the flowers. Just thinking about it made me happy.
I looked online for a while but couldn't find any nice tables and chairs.
Thinking that furniture was better chosen in person, I simply drove to the furniture mall.
The furniture mall had a huge variety. It took quite a while before I found what I liked.
I paid, arranged for delivery, and drove home.
I'd just gotten home and hadn't started assembling anything when my phone rang.
Jason's voice came through, "Do you want to come to the office?"
I immediately refused, "No."
I didn't have to work anymore—what would I go to the office for?
With my current status, going to Glacier Corp would be like making myself a clown for others to watch.
"Come on, Jessica says she wants steak. You come over, then wait for me to get off work and we'll go eat together."
Jason continued.
I still didn't really want to go, and for some reason, even though he said Jessica wanted it, based on my understanding of Jason, it was probably him who wanted to eat.
Seeing my silence, Jason handed the phone to Jessica, "Jessica, you tell Mom yourself—do you want to have dinner with Mom and Dad?"
Jessica's voice came through, "Yes, I do."
Only then did I agree, "Okay, I'll come over in a bit."
Jason's voice was full of pleasure, "Good baby, I'll wait for you."
We were in front of the child—could he not be so mushy?
I drove to the Glacier Corp parking lot.
I'd just reached the building entrance when security immediately came up, speaking eagerly, "Ms. Wilson, you're here. Mr. Cooper said to go straight up."
I nodded lightly and followed him forward.
The moment I stepped into the company and looked up, I saw someone I really didn't want to see.
"I'm Jason's mother—why won't you let me go up?"
