Chapter 16

Carlos's POV

My anger surged up as I paced the length and breath of the room

“How dare she? The guts!” I yelled, kicking the table carefully seated in the parlor as I made Stella flinch.

“I think you should calm down, Babe.” She had said, her annoying voice was nothing I want to hear now.

I shot her a glare, “ If you don't have anything better to say, can you please, shut the f**k up!” I yelled, kicking the table once again.

She jerked then stood up abruptly from the chair,

“I really still don't understand why you're so pissed off about Tara. She's now your ex!” She yelled again, I frowned as I shot her a glare, she instantly kept quiet.

“You're nothing like Tara! If it were to be Tara, she'd keep quiet and let me think but you are there running your mouth!” I hated the fact that she didn't fear me and it was all because of Andrew. The immunity of that name he bare was covering her and I just don't know how to weaken Andrew

Her once fearful eyes were now replaced with the eyes of a strong lady, like she didn't give a damn. And all these are because of Andrew. I shot my glance at Stella, I frowned, since Tara left, everything around me had died.

Stella was just an extension of my fun but Tara was the main deal. I missed her. The thought of her warming Andrew's bed enraged me the more.

“Carlos, Please you have to take it easy.” The b**ch said again.

I grabbed her by the wrist, as slammed her gently to the wall, my grip tightening around her arms,

“Can you just shut it up for once?” I could see the hurt and confusion in Stella's eyes as I spoke to her.

I bet she was more than confused, if she thinks breaking up with Tara was the end, the. It wasn't.

Seeing Tara today at Andrew's company made me realize the Magnitude of the mistake I had made. She had never dressed so sexy around me before when we were married but the blue shade gown perfectly grabbed her curves. Sje was more beautiful than ever. I looked at Stella, I just couldn't help it but gagged.

She was beautiful but not up to Tara's standard, I now wonder how come they were friends in the first place.

But there was something missing about Stella, the same spark and passionate moments were nothing to be compared with the ones I had with Tara. From the on start, I know Stella was someone I couldn't love but she was just too good in bed for me to resist. But then again, Tara was different.

“You still love her right?” Stella said, her she turned red as she asked me.

“What are you talking about?” I released her then walked to the couch.

“Don't play dumb with me, Carlos. Because I'm not dumb!!!” She followed me, standing next to like a mother about to scold her rebellious teenage child.

“I am not play dumb. You are the one creating those scenarios in your head, Stella.” I said to her then frown.

“Even if I'm into her, does that have any business to do with you? I hate it when you women but Into my business. Tara understood this perfectly!.” I've had enough of her constant bickering and nagging.

She lets out a loud mockery laughs, “I am not Tara ok! I'm not as stupid as she is so do not compare us.” She fired back.

“You clearly are not Tara and you can never be Tara “ I said to her.

“Ok” she paused, then called,

“Carlos, look me in the eye and tell me that you love me and cannot do without me.” She stated, looking deep into my eyes waiting for an answer but I guess she already knew my answer.

“I do not love her” I told my subconscious as I stared deeply into her eyes.

I looked into her eyes, it was just empty, all I saw was Tara's eyes, I sighed and then walked away leaving her in the living dumbfounded, and probably in tears. Like I care?

I walked into my room, staring at the bed all the sessions we had, came flashing back, turning memon on the spot.

“Another man has

her now,” I said to myself, but then again the jealousy wouldn't let me accept that she is gone. My memories joggled to this afternoon at his office how she stood next to him, for his protection against me.

I was hurt but I wouldn't let them see that, I sighed, as I fell to my bed, my glance moved to the picture frame of our wedding, she looked happy with me.

She was happy with me, until she cheated with Andrew and had a baby with him. But I'm willing to forgive her and take her back if she would just let Andrew be.

Our marriage was meant to be. She was meant to be with me and not with Andrew of all person. My rival in the business world. And now he is trying to steal the Denex deal just like he took Tara but I would not allow it. I would get my wife and deal back,

“Just wait Andrew. You watch and see what happens next.” I cursed under my breath as I clenched my fist,

“You'll take you back by all means necessary, Tara whether you like it or not! You are still my wife. Like you said on the altar, I stood up then walked to the window, staring into empty space. Everywhere was quiet and empty, it was late in the night. It was just the street light left to busy the Estate.

“Till death do us part.” I paused then smirked, folding my hands into each other.

“So you're going no where baby girl.” I have an eerie grin as I stared outside of my window.
