Chapter 96 Don't Want to Go to Bed?
Elizabeth’s question was beyond ridiculous.
She suddenly felt like her brain had short-circuited.
Timothy’s lips curved slightly. “I think your brain’s fried.”
Elizabeth was stunned.
“How could you insult me like that?”
Not feeling sleepy? Is that it?
Timothy didn’t want to drag this out. “Hey, cut the nonsense. Our personal lives are clean. You’re just missing some medical knowledge.”
When Timothy got unromantic, it was brutal.
“Wanna grab dinner tonight?”
“No, I need to treat my brain ailment.”
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow, stood up, and nodded with a smile. “Dr. Robinson, thanks. I’ll be heading out now.”
Timothy chuckled softly.
He scooped up the embarrassed Elizabeth.
Elizabeth let out a small gasp, clutching his shirt with her fingers.
He said seriously, “It’s Mr. Robinson who has the brain ailment.”
“Don’t be mad.”
Elizabeth’s eyes crinkled into a smile.
She suddenly understood why some girls get shy when they have boyfriends.
It’s the fun between two people.
Overall, it’s sweet.
“Dinner sounds good, but I need to head back to Faith Residence afterward.”
Timothy said, “I’ll go back with you to Faith Residence.”
Elizabeth responded quickly, “No.”
Timothy squinted his eyes, looking a bit dangerous. “Why not? I just want to hold you while we sleep, nothing else.”
Elizabeth fell silent.
She realized she was overthinking it; just holding was fine.
“I’ll carry you out.”
Timothy carried the ‘patient’ Elizabeth out of the lounge.
Elizabeth asked him to put her down, but he didn’t, so she let him carry her.
The handsome Timothy, carrying the beautiful Elizabeth, walked down the hallway.
Quite a sight.
Elizabeth suddenly remembered the day she first went to the hospital for an abortion, Armando had carried Sherry into the hospital just like this.
Now she had Timothy carrying her.
Timothy carried Elizabeth to the parking lot, opened the car door, and placed her inside.
He stood outside the car, bent over, held her head with his big hand, and kissed her.
She had stopped in the lounge, now it was his turn.
The car arrived at the restaurant.
Timothy ordered dishes that Elizabeth loved.
“Mr. Robinson, did you go after the Johnson Group because of me?”
During dinner, Elizabeth asked this question.
“How did you know?” Timothy didn’t deny it, but he explained, “The Johnson Group has always been well-managed. Causing trouble takes time.”
Elizabeth smiled.
They didn’t continue this topic; they both knew the score.
Later that night.
Timothy lazily tried to get into bed, but Elizabeth’s foot pushed him away.
“Sleep on the floor, the mat’s over there, see it?”
Timothy was incredulous. “Why can’t I hold you while we sleep?”
Elizabeth squinted her eyes, her foot still pushing his thigh. “I remember you called me brainless and said I lacked medical knowledge.”
Timothy looked pitiful. “I called myself brainless too.”
He said, “Also, STDs are transmitted through sexual contact. We’re both very careful, so that’s not an issue. Blood transmission is another way, and as a doctor, I’m always cautious.”
Timothy was explaining medical stuff to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was silent for a moment, then couldn’t help but laugh.
After she had laughed enough, she still said, “You’re sleeping on the mat.”
Timothy grabbed her foot that was pushing his thigh.
Her foot was super ticklish.
A very sensitive spot.
Timothy was pretty skilled, using just one finger to tickle the bottom of her foot.
He asked casually, “Can Mr. Robinson get into bed now? Can he?”
“Timothy.” Elizabeth, ticklish, tried to pull her foot back but couldn’t muster the strength. Her eyes filled with tears from laughing, she breathed deeply, “Okay, okay.”
Timothy spared her foot.
Elizabeth no longer had the energy to outsmart Timothy.
Timothy chuckled, he knelt on one knee between her legs, his whole body looming over her.
His long fingers reached behind her, unclasping her bra.
In the morning, when the alarm rang for work, Elizabeth sat up clutching the blanket.
Timothy saw Elizabeth wake up.
He picked up his belt, slowly threading it through his pants, and said to the dazed Elizabeth on the bed, “There’s breakfast in the thermos in the kitchen, it’s porridge.”
Elizabeth nodded weakly.
Timothy walked over, extended his long fingers, and pulled her strap back onto her shoulder, “I’m off to work, see you tonight.”
“Alright.”
Timothy went downstairs, Joe was already standing by the car door waiting.
He bent down and got into the car.
Joe also got in, saying, “Mr. Robinson, you have an appointment with the ring designer and the dress designer at nine. They’re bringing their drafts.”
“Set it up at the Carlton Hotel. Let’s go.” Timothy said.
Joe responded affirmatively, sending the meeting location to the designers.
These designers were all famous in the industry.
The car drove off, leaving Faith Residence. Joe turned back and mentioned another matter, “Armando seems to have realized it was you who went after him.”
“Yeah, Elizabeth told me.” Timothy said calmly.
No one here was a fool.
The designers had already arrived at the Carlton Hotel and were waiting in the lobby.
“Didn’t expect this gentleman to be so generous.”
Just for an engagement ring, he invited several famous designers.
And there were almost ten dress designers.
Half an hour later, Timothy’s car arrived at the Carlton Hotel.
Joe personally brought the designers to the private room.
The designers finally saw Timothy.
The young and handsome Timothy.
They showed Timothy their designs one by one.
Choosing the dress was easier.
But when it came to selecting the ring, Timothy was a bit troubled.
He didn’t know which style Elizabeth would like.
Joe suggested, “Mr. Robinson, why not ask Miss Penrose?”
Timothy thought Joe’s idea was unreliable, “I want to surprise Elizabeth. Asking her would ruin the surprise.”
“This design, with ‘Eli & Tim’ engraved on the ring.”
Eli represented Elizabeth’s name, Tim represented Timothy’s name.
