Chapter 394 Elizabeth, Wait for Me
Brandon's slightly pouting lips seemed to be complaining that Timothy was kicking them out of the house so quickly.
He hadn't even said goodbye to Elizabeth yet!
When Seraphina saw Brandon's pout, her heart softened. She crouched down and said gently, "Brandon, today I'm taking you out to hang out with some of my old classmates. We're going on a picnic."
Brandon blinked his big eyes. He was very happy. "Okay! Seraphina, can I borrow your phone? I want to say something to Mommy."
Seraphina handed her phone to Brandon.
"Thank you, Seraphina."
Brandon tapped open Facebook with his finger and found Elizabeth's Facebook chat.
Seraphina watched him operate it, and seeing he tapped the right place, she let him do it himself.
Brandon held down the voice message button and spoke, [Mommy, I'll come back tonight and we can play together, don't forget]
He thought for a moment and added, [I'm so sad, Mommy. Daddy is mean, kicking your two beloved children out!]
Seraphina smiled with her eyes narrowed.
After he finished, he returned the phone to Seraphina. "Thank you, Seraphina."
Brandon's bad mood disappeared quickly. He changed moods very fast.
Half an hour after Seraphina and Brandon were kicked out by Timothy.
Elizabeth woke up and came downstairs. Not seeing Seraphina and Brandon, she asked lazily, "Where are Seraphina and them? Still not up?"
Timothy stood up from the sofa and walked toward Elizabeth, reaching out to put his arm around her. He smiled, "Seraphina is taking Brandon to a picnic with friends today. They both left early this morning. How about we go out on a date today?"
Elizabeth knew Timothy best. She didn't need to think to guess that Timothy had definitely planned this in advance—he had arranged for Seraphina and Brandon to go out.
Elizabeth nodded. After breakfast, she went to get her phone to check messages, then heard Brandon's voice message still thinking of her and his complaint.
Timothy fell silent.
Stefan had just come downstairs ready to drive to pick up Seraphina and them when he saw Seraphina and Brandon already sitting on chairs downstairs.
He quickly walked over. "Seraphina, when did you get here? Didn't we agree I'd pick you up?"
He crouched down and greeted Brandon, "Brandon, good morning."
Brandon nodded and called out softly, "Stefan, morning."
Stefan couldn't help but smile when Brandon finally changed how he addressed him to Stefan.
He reached out and gently patted Brandon's little head. "Well, let's get going then."
Stefan leaned close to Seraphina's ear, "Seraphina, next time if you come early, just go upstairs and sit."
The three of them got in the car.
Brandon fastened his own seatbelt without needing Seraphina's help.
"Seraphina, where are we going for the picnic?"
"Joyful Heart Farm. There are animals there, a little train, and a big lawn. Brandon, you can even fly a kite later."
After an hour's drive, they finally arrived at Joyful Heart Farm.
They bought tickets and went in. To the left was a wide lawn where quite a few people were already having picnics.
Further inside, there was an area for barbecuing. Wilmer and the others were in the barbecue area now.
"Stefan, over here."
From far away, Wilmer spotted Stefan and them.
Stefan held Brandon in one arm and insisted on holding Seraphina's hand with the other as they walked toward the barbecue area.
Wilmer and the other two saw this scene and were extremely jealous. Having a girlfriend is such a big deal!
They had already prepared the barbecue ingredients and equipment.
"Brandon, this is Wilmer, that's Mike, and the other one is Finnley." Stefan looked at Brandon in his arms and introduced them with a warm smile.
Brandon politely greeted the three of them, "Wilmer, Mike, Finnley, hello. My name is Brandon."
Wilmer, Mike, and Finnley saw this well-behaved and adorable little boy with a shaved head, and their single hearts suddenly wanted to get married.
Too bad they didn't have girlfriends yet.
Stefan put Brandon down. "Brandon, what do you want to eat? I'll grill it for you."
Brandon was a child who loved to eat. When he saw the food on the barbecue grill, his eyes lit up. "Thank you, Stefan!"
Wilmer and the others fell into thought.
Finnley bent down and asked Brandon with a smile, "Brandon, do you want me to take you to see the capybaras?"
Just then, Wilmer's phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and quickly answered.
Jane was holding her phone as she walked into Joyful Heart Farm. "I'm here, just walking into the farm. Where are you?"
Her eyes showed disgust as she looked around. At this time, she should be enjoying herself at some upscale place, not coming here.
Jane had called Wilmer yesterday and learned they were going on a picnic today. When Jane found out that Seraphina and Stefan would also be there, Jane decided to come.
Wilmer on the other end of the phone said with a smile, "We're in the barbecue area."
After hanging up, Wilmer turned to Stefan and the others and said, "I also invited a female friend to come."
Mike asked, "Girlfriend?"
Wilmer smiled. "Of course not."
There was no way Jane would be interested in someone from an ordinary family background like him. He still had that much self-awareness.
Soon after, Jane appeared in their view.
She was wearing an elegant dress that looked more suitable for an upscale venue, making her seem somewhat out of place with the Joyful Heart Farm environment.
After approaching, she looked around the barbecue area. How shabby! A flash of disgust quickly passed through her eyes.
On her way here, she had also seen the animal area and smelled animal droppings. How disgusting.
"Hello, everyone." Jane was beautiful. Just standing there greeting them, she was a striking sight.
Wilmer enthusiastically introduced Jane to Finnley and the others.
Seraphina was a bit surprised when she saw Jane at first, but quickly returned to a calm expression.
Jane's gaze also fell on Seraphina.
