Chapter 348 She Directly Rushes Through
Stanley called Seraphina and told her what Tommy had said.
A third party?
After hearing Stanley's words, Seraphina looked up at Timothy and Elizabeth sitting under the beach umbrella not far away.
Seraphina smiled faintly. Timothy wasn't the type to abandon someone after starting a relationship.
And Elizabeth would never be someone's third party.
As for what Tommy said, Seraphina felt uncomfortable just hearing it.
Seraphina thanked Stanley on the other end of the phone, "Thank you for speaking up for me."
Stanley's tone was relaxed on the phone, "Seraphina, you don't need to be so polite."
At that moment, under the beach umbrella, Elizabeth handed Timothy a bottle of sunscreen, "Help me put some on my back, I'm getting sunburned."
Timothy took the sunscreen, happy to help.
Their family's plan for today was to come to the beach, and tomorrow they would go fishing at sea.
Brandon was very happy. Wearing little swim trunks, he waddled on his short legs down to the water with the bodyguard.
Seraphina was building sandcastles for Brandon on the beach. She couldn't swim, and felt she was too heavy to go in the water. Most importantly, she still had lingering fear of the ocean in her heart.
As for why she added coming to the beach to the travel itinerary, it was to reassure Timothy and Elizabeth. As long as she didn't go in the water, she wouldn't be afraid facing the ocean anymore.
In the evening.
Elizabeth adjusted tonight's sleeping arrangements.
She decided to share a room with Seraphina, letting Timothy and Brandon stay in another room.
When Brandon heard this news, he was very upset, "Mommy, Brandon wants to sleep with you guys."
He didn't want to sleep with Timothy.
Timothy wouldn't let Brandon have his way, "Brandon, I'll tell you stories tonight."
Brandon didn't believe Timothy would tell stories, "No, I want to go listen to sister tell stories."
Listening to Seraphina's stories would be much better!
Timothy picked up Brandon without further discussion, walked into their bedroom, and closed the door.
Brandon, placed on the bed, felt desperate.
He stood up, hands on his hips, eyes wide open, "Daddy, when I grow up, I'll definitely be better than you!"
Timothy saw Brandon's spirited little appearance and couldn't help but chuckle softly, "Okay, when Brandon grows up and becomes better than me, then protect Elizabeth and Seraphina well, understand?"
Timothy deeply hid the regret in his heart, his eyes showing tenderness and reluctance.
He might not get to see what Brandon looked like when he grew up.
Brandon pouted and lay down on the bed, his little body sprawled out, "Daddy, what story are you telling today?"
Timothy had no intention of actually telling stories. After brushing him off with a few words, he said, "After the trip ends, I'll take you jogging every morning."
Brandon felt like crying. Not only did he not get a story, but he also got an extra morning jogging routine.
He only liked eating and sleeping, "Daddy, I'm still a baby."
Brandon only needed to eat and sleep.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Elizabeth and Seraphina were chatting in their room.
Elizabeth was blow-drying Seraphina's hair and gently asked, "Seraphina, is there something you want to tell me?"
Seraphina didn't expect Elizabeth to notice she had something to ask, "Mommy, you're really amazing, no wonder you kicked Daddy out."
She really loved Elizabeth.
After her hair was dry, Elizabeth and Seraphina leaned against the sofa, each eating a popsicle.
Only when Timothy wasn't around could Elizabeth and Seraphina secretly eat popsicles.
Seraphina then started talking about what Stanley had told her on the phone today.
When Seraphina mentioned Stanley, Elizabeth remembered when she and Timothy got married, Stanley had been their flower boy.
"You and Stanley are quite fated," Elizabeth smiled, "Who would have thought you'd meet in kindergarten and then meet again when you grew up."
Seraphina nodded and smiled too, "Yeah, we are quite fated."
Elizabeth licked her popsicle and told Seraphina about Tommy and Jane, "Tommy and Jane are the children of your father's younger sister Annie and Erik."
Seraphina immediately stopped eating her popsicle, "Isn't their mother named Emma? How could they be auntie's children?"
Seraphina immediately thought of a scandal. If that were the case, the Robinson family couldn't possibly let everyone know about such a thing.
Elizabeth reminded Seraphina, "Your popsicle is melting."
Seraphina quickly ate her popsicle, waiting for Elizabeth to continue.
Elizabeth continued, "Emma liked your father. Some people, because they love someone, easily do things others can't understand. Tommy and Jane were indeed born from Emma's belly, but the children's genes are from your aunt Annie and another man."
Simply put, Emma was a surrogate.
After hearing what Elizabeth said, Seraphina fell silent, "Mommy, don't worry, I won't let my love become so sad. If I don't like someone, I'll just let go. Isn't that better?"
Her appearance made her always optimistic about love. If it came, she'd date; if not, that was fine too.
Elizabeth was happy that Seraphina was so open-minded.
Just then, they heard a light knock on the bedroom door.
Usually at times like this, only one person would come knocking.
"Oh no, Daddy's here."
"Oh no, your dad's here."
Elizabeth and Seraphina both looked at the popsicles in their hands. They quickly put on their slippers and ran to the bathroom to throw the popsicles in the trash.
Safe!
Elizabeth came out of the bathroom and sat on the sofa. Seraphina came out and went to open the door.
"Daddy." Seraphina opened the door with a smile.
Timothy's gaze fell on Seraphina's smiling face. He raised an eyebrow, "Your brother is already asleep. Go keep him company. Your mommy can't sleep without me by her side."
Seraphina saluted with amusement. She quickly left, not wanting to disturb her parents.
Who knew who couldn't sleep without whom.
Elizabeth, sitting on the sofa, saw Timothy come in and smiled. She knew Timothy would come back to sleep.
Timothy leaned down, one hand supporting himself on the sofa, the other hand lifting her chin, his lips falling on hers.
"Your mouth has strawberry-flavored popsicle. You snuck a popsicle, didn't you?"
Those last words were almost murmured into her mouth.
"Ms. Robinson, Chairwoman Johnson is currently meeting with a client. Ms. Robinson, please have a seat and wait."
Stefan blocked Jane, who was about to barge directly into Chairwoman Johnson's office.
Jane didn't expect anyone would dare to stop her. She looked up at Stefan coldly and arrogantly, "Do you know who I am? My brother and I are major shareholders of the Robinson Group, understand? Move aside!"
Stefan maintained his smile, his attitude neither humble nor arrogant, "Ms. Robinson, Chairwoman Johnson is currently meeting with a client. It's really not convenient."
Jane crossed her arms and stared at Stefan, "You still dare to block me? Believe it or not, I'll have you fired right now!"
Stefan's smile remained, his tone gentle, "Ms. Robinson, I believe you, but right now, please wait until Chairwoman Johnson finishes meeting with her client."
Jane laughed in anger. She directly tried to push past him. She didn't believe Stefan would dare to touch her!
