Chapter 346 Sloane, Why Are You Here?
At ten-thirty.
Elizabeth's whole family set off on their trip.
Neither Elizabeth nor Timothy showed any signs of disappointment in front of the kids, trying their best to keep the atmosphere cheerful.
Although Seraphina had her suspicions, she could only keep them to herself.
She took out her camera and said with a smile, "Daddy, Mommy, let me take pictures of you. I'm really good at taking photos!"
Timothy and Elizabeth exchanged smiles and nodded.
There wasn't much of a background in the car.
Timothy patted his thigh, gesturing for Elizabeth to sit down.
Seeing this, Seraphina felt happy that Timothy and Elizabeth loved each other.
Elizabeth would still hold back a bit in front of Seraphina and Brandon. Of course, she didn't sit on Timothy's lap. Instead, she picked up Brandon and placed him on Timothy's lap.
Timothy frowned, "He can just stand."
Brandon frowned too, "I want Mommy to hold me."
Timothy and Brandon both showed expressions of disdain for each other at the same time.
Elizabeth had already struck her pose and hand gesture for the photo. She completely ignored Timothy and Brandon. When taking photos, you have to look beautiful—she just needed to look good on her own.
Seeing that Elizabeth was ready, Seraphina adjusted the camera angle, "Okay, ready, smile!"
As she spoke, she pressed the shutter.
Brandon quickly struck what he thought was a cool pose, "Sister, take it."
Seraphina smiled and quickly took several shots, "Okay, now let's take one of the whole family together."
She handed the camera to the bodyguard, walked over and stood behind Elizabeth and Timothy, making a heart shape with her hands above her head.
"Three, two, one, cheese!"
The serious-looking bodyguard pressed the shutter.
When Stefan got home from work at ten that evening, he finally received a photo from Seraphina of a sky-blue sky.
He texted Seraphina, [Looks like you're having a great time]
The second message was, [Finally thought of me]
After sending the message, he grabbed his bathrobe and went to shower. Halfway through, he heard his phone ringing in the bathroom.
Stefan thought it was Seraphina calling. He quickly rinsed off the soap bubbles, threw on his bathrobe, and walked out of the bathroom.
His abs were clearly firm and strong.
He picked up his phone and looked at the caller ID. It wasn't Seraphina calling—it was Sloane.
Stefan's gentle expression remained as he silently reminded himself that he was just a working man. He answered the call, "Chairwoman Johnson? Okay, I'll come over right now."
He hung up, quickly changed clothes, grabbed his car keys and phone, and rushed out of the house to drive to the company to pick someone up.
About half an hour later, Stefan's car arrived downstairs at the company.
Sloane was already standing at the entrance waiting.
She got in the car, leaned back against the seat, rubbed her temples, and said softly, "Mr. Hensley, go to Club Nine. Lanny is sick, I had him go to the hospital first."
Lanny was Sloane's driver.
Stefan said yes.
He didn't know where Club Nine was, so he had to use the GPS.
The GPS guided the car toward the destination.
When the car arrived at the location.
Stefan realized that 'Club Nine' was an upscale club, a high-end place where men and women went for entertainment.
Stefan parked the car and looked back at Sloane, "Chairwoman Johnson, we're here."
Sloane nodded. She turned to look out the window, her expression calm, "Let's get out."
Stefan got out and opened the car door for Sloane. The doorman at the entrance respectfully took the keys and drove the car away.
Stefan followed Sloane into Club Nine.
He looked around at the luxurious environment.
Club Nine's decor was extremely lavish, with glittering gold decorations everywhere.
Sloane walked to the front desk and asked the manager directly, "Where is Tommy?"
She paused and said, "I'm his wife."
The manager's stress level instantly shot up. If Sloane came in person, she was definitely here to confront Tommy, but he trusted they wouldn't dare cause a big scene at Club Nine.
He smiled slightly, "Mrs. Robinson, Mr. Robinson is in a VIP room. I'll take you there."
Sloane thanked him softly.
Stefan and Sloane followed the manager toward the VIP room.
Stefan remained silent the whole way.
Stefan knew a bit about Sloane's husband Tommy's love of partying and living it up.
In the hallway, you could occasionally hear laughter and music coming from some of the rooms.
At the door of the room, the manager knocked gently, and a server inside opened the door.
Sounds of laughter and fun immediately came from inside.
Sloane walked into the room and looked up to see Tommy sitting on the sofa, surrounded by several women dressed to the nines.
He was holding a glass, his eyes unfocused—clearly he'd had quite a bit to drink.
When such an elegant and beautiful woman as Sloane appeared at the door, she immediately drew everyone's attention.
When Tommy saw Sloane, his face showed surprise, "Sloane, what are you doing here?"
Sloane glanced at the obvious lipstick marks on his face. She wasn't here to confront Tommy about him being surrounded by women, but to deal with another matter.
