Chapter 345 Testing Report
The next day, Sloane woke up feeling mentally exhausted.
She hadn't been able to fall asleep until very late last night.
When she got up, Tommy was still sleeping.
Sloane didn't wake him. She skipped breakfast and went straight to the office.
Stefan, who had arrived at the office early, was messaging Seraphina. He was editing a list of things she needed to bring for her trip.
Stefan had just sent the message when he heard the sound of high heels.
He turned his head and saw Sloane walking over.
"Mr. Hensley, get me a coffee, no sugar, thanks." Sloane stopped at Stefan's desk as she passed by.
She felt a headache and fatigue coming on.
She could only rely on coffee to try to get herself together.
"Sure." Stefan replied.
His phone happened to be on the desk, and at that moment the screen showed a heart emoji that Seraphina had sent in reply.
Sloane happened to see it and asked with a gentle smile, "Girlfriend?"
Stefan nodded and smiled warmly, "Yes, she's going on a trip with her family these few days. I just looked up some things she needs to bring."
Sloane smiled and walked into her office.
Stefan had attracted a lot of attention shortly after joining the company, especially from the single female employees.
Tall, handsome, and Sloane's special assistant - several single female employees had been asking around about him, trying to find out more about him.
Stefan always kept a polite distance from this attention, telling people he already had a girlfriend.
Even so, some female employees still thought this was just an excuse.
Sloane entered her office. She had just sat down in her chair when she heard her phone vibrate.
She took out her phone and saw photos from the private investigator.
The content of the photos still made her feel a bit uncomfortable.
In the photos, Tommy had his arms around two women, one on each side. The scene was quite disgusting.
Sloane took a deep breath, trying to calm her emotions.
Last night when Tommy was making love to her, he kept saying he liked her, loved her.
So this is what men are like.
Sloane forced herself to calm down.
She reminded and comforted herself: Sloane, your goal is revenge, not love.
Sloane put her phone on the desk with no expression. You get numb to these kinds of photos after seeing enough of them.
If it weren't for needing to know Tommy's daily whereabouts and who he was with every day, she wouldn't want to see these disgusting photos every morning.
At that moment, Stefan knocked on the door. He walked in carrying coffee, "Chairwoman Johnson, your coffee."
He placed the coffee on the desk and began reporting today's schedule.
After he finished reporting, Sloane thought for a moment and suddenly asked, "Mr. Hensley, what kind of messages from women make men happy?"
Stefan was stunned for a moment, clearly not expecting Sloane to ask such a question.
But as a special assistant, he didn't need to pry into Sloane's privacy.
He thought for a moment and fulfilled his duty as an assistant, "Chairwoman Johnson, men generally like to receive caring and thoughtful messages, such as greetings, encouragement, or messages expressing affection."
Seeing Sloane's puzzled look, he continued to explain, "For example, it could be 'You worked hard today, remember to rest,' 'I miss you,' or 'Keep going, you can do it,' things like that."
Sloane nodded and said thoughtfully, "I understand. Thank you, Mr. Hensley."
Growing up, Sloane had only focused on studying. Cecilia had arranged many courses for her.
And the messages Sloane sent to Tommy were usually about business. She had never sent messages like what Stefan just mentioned.
Sloane wouldn't allow Tommy to slip out of her control.
Sloane felt a bit envious and a bit jealous of Stefan's girlfriend Seraphina.
That was what a normal couple relationship looked like.
"That's all, you can go." Sloane said, lowering her head to start handling documents.
Stefan nodded, "Alright, Chairwoman Johnson, do you need breakfast?"
Sloane looked up at him, very satisfied with Stefan's attention to detail, "Thank you, please order me a light breakfast."
Stefan agreed, turned and walked out of the office, gently closing the door.
He ordered breakfast for Sloane, and then also ordered breakfast for Seraphina.
He picked up his phone and edited a message to send to Seraphina: [Dione, I ordered breakfast for you, remember to get up and eat breakfast]
Seraphina hadn't seen Stefan's message yet.
She had already lazily gone back to bed to sleep in.
Seraphina slept until nine o'clock before getting up. Only then did she see the message Stefan had sent.
She quickly called to have a bodyguard go to Port City Garden to pick up the breakfast.
As she yawned and went downstairs, she saw Elizabeth holding a special soft whip, chasing after Brandon.
Seraphina instantly didn't dare step down to the next level.
Brandon was running fast, "Mommy, I was wrong, I won't do it again."
Elizabeth held the soft whip in her hand. Although her face showed anger, there was a hint of helplessness in her eyes, "You still dare say you were wrong? This morning you snuck candy again. Your teeth are already bad and you still dare eat candy!"
"I won't dare anymore."
"You know you were wrong? Then stand still, don't run!"
"If you don't hit me, I won't run."
Timothy fell silent.
Seraphina also fell silent. Was this adding fuel to the fire?
Brandon was even negotiating conditions now. Impressive.
Timothy smiled and quickly took the initiative to catch Brandon, delivering him to Elizabeth, "Elizabeth, it's early morning, don't get angry."
When Elizabeth hit Brandon, it was loving discipline.
At least she wasn't hitting him, Timothy.
Brandon was carried by Timothy to Elizabeth, but he wasn't panicked anymore.
He looked up at Elizabeth ingratiatingly and admitted his mistake, "Mommy, I promise I won't sneak candy next time!"
"Where did the candy in the watercolor box come from?" Elizabeth asked with a serious frown.
"A classmate gave it to me," Brandon honestly confessed, "I played with her, and she wanted to give me candy, otherwise I wouldn't play with her anymore!"
It wasn't easy for him, a boy, to play with a girl named Matilda!
"Mommy, you know what? Matilda cries all the time. Nobody in our class wants to play with her, only me!"
Actually, his purpose for playing with her was for the candy Matilda had.
Brandon acted as if he had done something very noble.
Elizabeth finally knew where the candy came from.
It turned out Brandon had earned it by playing with someone.
Elizabeth could only say helplessly, "From now on, when you bring candy home, you have to hand it over. I'll make you a small cake every other day."
Making cakes herself, she could control the sugar content and add some fruit, perfect for Brandon to eat.
Brandon's big eyes could only see Elizabeth's tall figure.
He would have small cakes to eat from now on!
And starting tomorrow, he wouldn't have to play with Matilda anymore!
Brandon hugged Elizabeth's leg, "Mommy, you can hit me. I was naughty."
Seeing Brandon say this, Elizabeth actually did hit him a few times.
Seraphina saw that the family dispute had finally ended and was about to go downstairs with relief, when she heard Brandon's childish tattling voice.
"Mommy, Daddy was naughty too. I heard him tell Joe to hide a report from Mommy." Brandon wasn't going to keep Daddy's secret anymore!
Timothy had just caught him!
Timothy really didn't want to admit Brandon was his child.
A few days ago at the airport, he had clearly made a deal with Brandon using a piece of bread to keep his secret!
Timothy and Brandon, this father-son pair, were both very practiced at selling each other out to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth glared at Timothy, telling him to wait.
She first turned to look at Seraphina standing at attention on the stairs and smiled, "Seraphina, have breakfast. We'll leave at ten-thirty."
Seraphina quickly came downstairs, smiled obediently, "Okay."
She picked up Brandon and went to the kitchen. Elizabeth and Timothy probably had things to discuss.
Elizabeth waited until the children went to the dining room before looking at Timothy, "Come upstairs with me."
Timothy secretly cursed Brandon in his heart, then guiltily followed Elizabeth upstairs.
They went to the study.
Elizabeth sat on the sofa. She looked Timothy up and down until his smile became stiff, then said expressionlessly, "Mr. Robinson, give me the medical report to see."
Timothy really wanted to struggle to the end, but he also knew he couldn't keep hiding it.
He could only go to the bookshelf, pull out a book, and hand Elizabeth the health examination report that was tucked inside.
Elizabeth opened the report.
She instantly saw a string of red text, and her eyes immediately reddened.
Almost all failing grades.
She tried to control her emotions, but her voice still trembled a bit, "Timothy, I don't want there to be a next time."
Timothy sighed. He sat down next to Elizabeth and held her cool fingers, "I'm sorry."
Elizabeth glared at him fiercely, "What good is sorry? Do you think this will stop me from worrying?"
