River POV

"Yes Kitten of course my love, that baby will still be part of you."

"You aren't... scared it could.. have the face of a monster?" I cry gutted by my own words. Those are my fears.

"Are you?" He asks leaning closer to me as he takes my shaking hand.

I nod and start sobbing "I dream of it and I don't want to hate my own baby." He grabs me and holds me while I cry. Sheldon sits up and groans in pain from his back. I reach my hand back and pull him to me.

Pickle holds my face in his hands and leans in pushing his head to mine "I know you and I know your heart you will take one look at that baby and you will love it with your whole heart and soul." I wrap my arms around him and cry.

Two weeks later

Pickle POV

I feel the bed dip down by my feet.

"Where is she?" Flame says softly. I slow pull back the covers revealing Annie curled up into my chest her little fists hanging onto my shirt for dear life as her legs are draped around Lucky holding him to her.

"My poor Nipote." She says crawling up to get in next to her. I slide out and let her in.

"Auntie." Annie says as she grabs on to her and cries.

Flame quickly kisses her and pulls her tightly into her chest.

"Hi Bunny I missed you. It's just me and you today my love. I have a surprise for you so lets go get you ready." Flame tells her.

"Hey brother. You have the other one in there with you?" Ryder says laughing.

I laugh "No they should be in Lucky's old room, it's the only one we have without a window."

"I looked already, the rooms empty." He says.

I push the intercom "Nate are they with you?"

"Nope just Emerson." He says laughing as Emerson giggles.

"I know where she is, follow me." I lead us to the elevator and once down I walk us out back to her dark room. I knock and when no one answers I peak in. Empty.

"Okay then they're in the safe room." I say.

Which means it got bad at some point and this is the only place she felt safe enough to sleep.

I beep it before I put in my code, last time it freaked them both out and it took us hours to get them to come out when we just walked in.

I knock as the door opens. They are both on the ground with their hands out. The sight makes my stomach turn. They are trying really hard it's just when things catch them off guard it gets a little confusing for them.

"It's Pickle and I have someone here to see you Kitten." She looks up just a little to make sure it's really me. I lightly touch her hand then his.

"Thank you for knocking and ringing the bell this time, it was a little less scary." She says as I help her up.

"Sorry brother it was a rough night." Sheldon says going over to the corner and picking up some blankets and a pillow. I nod.

"Ryder." River yells as she flys into his arms.

"Hi Monkey." He says squeezing her hard to him.

"I'm going to have the workers here today. I don't want you guys sleeping on the floor. It's set up already to add rooms as we need it. We can literally go completely under the while house if we need to. I'm having them open this up and put a small room in here with just a bed in it for you guys and you'll have your own safety code for it. Please let me do this for you." They nod.

"I watched your wedding, Sheldon showed me. You stood!" She says hugging him tightly as she cries.

"Do you want to see it?" He says smiling ear to ear.

"Yes please!" She says standing and walking over and taking Sheldon's hand.

"Becareful brother." I say. He just nods. I go and pull the blanket off the monitors.

He shakes as he starts to stand "It's literally for 5 seconds so don't get your hopes up that it's some big wonderful thing." He says laughing.

"It is a big wonderful thing!" She says gasping as she wraps her arms around his waist and looks up "Your so tall." She says gasping through her tears.

"I'm so proud of you." She says as she helps him sit. He kisses her cheek "I missed you little sister."

She smiles at him then at me. She quickly touches my hand as she hurries passed me to help gather their belongings.

"How do you know these workers are safe?" River asks.

"Only four are approved to enter today. I did a extensive background check on the four of them and they will be supervised by me and some men while they're on the grounds. I'll supervise all the electronic work to make sure that there's nothing put in that shouldn't be. The code will be something that only the two of you know so you guys should think about what you want to use okay." Ryder says.

"Kitten and of course you too brother, we just want you to know if you want it's not too late to come join us in Mexico."

"We will think about it. Thank you." Sheldon says as he takes her hand.

"We have security and everything arranged for your appointments today." I tell him as I can't help but watch her as she moves around.

He watches me watching her and it makes me uncomfortable.

"Can I go look at the pictures again please mast..Pickle may I please look at the pictures again today?" She says smiling at me but still unable to meet my eye.

"Of course Kitten. If you find any you want framed let me know and we'll put them up on your walls. This is still your house River you don't need to ask my permission."

"Thank you." She says excitedly as she bows slightly to me before a blush creeps across her cheeks. I want to touch them to touch her but she needs time to recover and I'm not going anywhere.

"She would like to take some pictures together today since everyone will be here." Sheldon says taking her hand.

"That's a wonderful idea." I reach for her hand but pull back before I touch her. She looks down at my hand and takes it as she starts walking towards the door. Her holding my hand has my stomach doing flips.

"Are you sure this event is going to be secure. I don't know.." she starts to ask.

"Hey, if you're not comfortable going you don't have to go my love." She peaks up through her lashes at me.

"It's important to raise awareness and money to help the people saved from the church. So we will go." Sheldon says looking at her, she lowers her head and nods.
