Chapter 86 Chapter 86

Chapter 86 Chapter 86

“You were talking about me?” Hendeix’s voice boomed like thunder, shaking the four-story mansion. This was the first time I had seen him this angry. He looked like he could kill someone.

“Why? Who else would we be talking about but you? I’m just curious about how you met and whether you really love each other. Is it wrong for me to ask about the state of your lives? All I want in my life is your happiness, my only son. I’m just making sure your wife won’t leave you. Right, Jade?”

“It’s none of your business. We’re leaving, and I don’t want you talking to or occasionally meeting my wife. Don’t involve her in your miserable life.” Hendeix glanced at me before speaking again. “Let’s go.”

He roughly pulled my arm, dragging me out of the mansion. I protested because my skin was already stinging from how tightly he was gripping me.

“What’s wrong with you, Hendeix?! You’re hurting me! Let go of me! Why are you so angry?!”

He turned to face me when I forcefully yanked my hand away from him. I even shook it in the air to ease the pain.

“Why am I angry? Why not ask yourself? Why are you here? You did not tell me about this.”

“And why would I tell you? Do I have to inform you of every move I make? Your mother dragged me here! What could I do?”

“You can say no, Mori! If you don’t like doing something, you can disagree!”

“Ah, really? As far as I remember, whenever I want something, you forbid me! Go on, prove that I can refuse! I don’t want to live in Sky Villa anymore! Give my car back! I’ll live in my own house!”

“W-what?” he asked in disbelief. It was already dark around us, yet we were still here, arguing in the middle of the road. We hadn’t even gotten into his car yet, and I had no intention of doing so.

“What did you say?” he repeated.

“See? Now tell me that I can refuse! You don’t want that, do you? Because you want to lock me up in the Villa! What do you want me to do there? Lie around? Read books? Wait for you so I can be your outlet?”

“Fuck? What outlet are you talking about? Is that what you think of yourself whenever I bed you, huh?” he asked angrily.

“That’s not the point! What I’m talking about is I respect your life, so please, just do the same!”

I turned my back on him and walked away, but he chased after me, shouting.

“I brought you there because you like living in the mountains, right? What do you really want? You’re confusing too!”

I turned to him in disbelief. I rushed toward him and faced him.

“I’m the confusing one? Me, Hendeix?” I ranted bitterly. I jabbed my finger into his chest as I reproached him. “Maybe you want me to remind you how you mess with my head?! You brought me to Singapore, and you did things to me that would definitely make me think you were into something, that it meant something—but there was nothing! You even bathed me, yet you don’t love me! And you don’t plan to love me either! Haha! It’s funny! Maybe your mom is right! You’re cunning! A liar! You’re using me to your advantage, while I’m here feeling guilty, thinking I’m a bad person for bringing you into this situation! And I’m such a fool for bravely accepting your mother’s offer even though I knew she must be up to something, yet I still decided to join because I wanted to know you more! I wanted to know your story of why you became so cruel to yourself—not doing the best thing you can do in your life, which is to love… Your life sucks, Hendeix. I pity you. You’re preventing yourself from feeling the most precious thing in this world.”

I don’t know where everything I said came from, but I just hailed a taxi. But when I was about to step in, Hendeix grabbed me again.

He pinned me to his car door, and I was shocked when he lifted my skirt.

“W-what are you doing?! Hendeix! Stop it! Hendeix! Someone is watching us!” I struggled as I said it. I was extremely embarrassed as I looked at the taxi driver, who could see what my husband was doing to me. Good thing he disappeared, I guess—Hendeix stared at him with a death threat.

I heard him unzip his pants, which alarmed me even more. I struggled against him, but he was stronger than me.

I felt his manhood touch the fabric that covered my flesh. This is insane. How can he do this to me?

“Hendeix, I said stop…” I begged, but he slid his penis to my domain. It hurts like fucking hell. We’re frantically doing this in public, and I can’t help but sob harder.

“Hendeix… you’re raping me… stop it… I don’t like it.”

“Shut up,” he whispered as he clasped my hands that were trying to push him away.

“Hendeix… Please… I’m sorry…”

“No, you’re not. I know you’re not sorry. You’ll shout at me again soon; that’s why I’ll make you shut up now, so you can learn your place. This is where you belong…”

I saw my reflection on the side mirror—how relentlessly I was crying because of my miserable life. I never thought I would experience something worse than before.

I cried heavily as I repeatedly told him how much I love him, in hopes that he would stop.

But his mother was right—he is a liar. Hendeix Kai Lavarre is a fucking liar.
