Chapter 26 Awakening of the Vegetative State
Vivian was dumbfounded.
She went to check Mia's condition and saw Mia's eyelids twitch.
Then, slowly, Mia’s eyes opened.
For a moment, Vivian thought she was seeing things.
But the next moment, she excitedly shouted, "George, George, your mom woke up, she woke up!"
George opened his eyes suddenly and immediately burst into joy.
"Mom, Mom. You finally woke up!"
George grabbed Mia's hand, his eyes turning red, tears welling up.
The divine healing techniques are real.
The ancestors are also real.
Thank you, ancestors.
Vivian was extremely thrilled. She also cried tears of joy. It was truly amazing that Mia woke up. It had been determined before that she wouldn't wake up, and now she woke up so quickly and suddenly.
It's a medical miracle!
"Could it be that he was really treating her just now?"
Vivian looked at George in doubt.
Mia really woke up and, upon seeing George, even asked, "Son, where am I?"
Vivian immediately ran outside to call for help. A medical team was organized to perform various examinations on Mia.
The results showed that everything was fine.
The news caused an uproar on the entire floor.
You see, just a few minutes ago, a doctor had declared Mia's time of death. But miraculously, not only was she brought back to life, but she also regained consciousness.
Finding an opportunity, Vivian quietly asked George, "What was that you were doing on your mother just now, randomly poking various parts of her body without any rhyme or reason? Were you really saving her?"
George laughed and replied, "What do you mean randomly poking? That's called the Thirteen Ghostly Needles."
"What are these Thirteen Ghostly Needles?"
"Well... um, I learned it online. They say it's effective for comatose patients. In that desperate situation, I tried it without much thought and unexpectedly, it worked. Hehe!"
Of course, he wouldn't reveal the secrets of heavenly medical techniques.
The truth was, he himself was confused.
Vivian was speechless for a moment. Could she really trust what she read online?
Half an hour later.
In the hospital room, only George and Mia, mother and son, were left.
Mia looked at George and asked, "Son, where is your father?"
George's expression turned sad, "Dad... he's gone..."
Upon hearing the truth, Mia immediately embraced her son and cried in grief.
After a while, Mia spoke softly to George, "Son, you must be careful of your third uncle."
George was shocked.
Mia continued, “Regarding your father's accident, I suspect your third uncle had something to do with it. Just before your wedding, I discovered that he betrayed our company by selling our company secrets for huge profits."
George's anger surged at her words.
George's father, Samuel Harold, was the eldest of the family. He had two younger brothers, David Harold and Nate, and a younger sister named Chloe Harold!
Samuel Harold had ventured out at the age of thirteen to do business with others.
Twenty years later, Samuel Harold founded the Harolds Group.
Another ten years passed, and the Harolds Group's assets exceeded three trillion, becoming a well-known enterprise in Riverdale.
It could be said that everything about Harolds was earned by Samuel Harold and Mia from scratch.
But now...
The Harold family had thrown them out of the house, with Nate seizing control of the Harolds Group and Tom even trying to steal his wife.
If all of this was truly orchestrated by Nate, then he is a terrifying manipulator.
George clenched his fist, "Mom, don't worry. If Dad's death was unjust and was planned by Uncle Nate, I will make him pay back a hundredfold, a thousandfold."
That night, George didn't return to the Willow family, instead staying at the hospital with his mother.
He could imagine what kind of treatment he would receive once he returned to the Willow family.
Mia woke up for a brief moment. Her body was still weak, and she quickly fell back asleep.
Meanwhile, George couldn't calm his restless emotions.
The magic of the ring his father gave him was truly astonishing.
Did his father himself know about it?
He sat on the chair, lost in thought.
Just then, he felt a difference in his breathing. As he breath, he savored the air slowly.
One can feel a very strong energy circulating in the body.
"Is this the breath bestowed by the ancestors?"
"That's right, it's the cultivation technique!"
George quickly activated the technique he had just learned and engraved into his mind. The technique had no name and was created specifically to accompany the path of martial medical practitioners. He had only tried it casually, not expecting much, and it always felt unreal.
But once he started practicing, that nameless technique allowed him to channel his energy and regulate his breathing at an incredibly fast speed. It felt very easy and natural for him, as if he had known it all along.
The energy was quickly brought under control, rushing through his meridians, constantly roaming.
Crackling sounds of intense practice filled the room.
His dantian opened up and the breath was subdued.
The nameless technique had been directly grasped.
Meanwhile, Vivian had just returned home.
She took off her coat and kicked off her shoes. Her graceful figure plopped onto the couch, saying, "I'm so tired!"
Her grandmother brought over a bowl of soup and said, "Vivian, come, Grandma has stewed pig's trotters all afternoon. Drink some, it's good for beauty and nourishment."
Vivian turned over, propped her two fair feet on the coffee table, and slurped the soup happily, making her grandmother smile.
At this moment, her grandfather Oliver Tudson walked out, wrinkling his brow. "As a young lady, how can you sit in such an improper manner? No wonder you still haven't found a boyfriend."
Grandma said, "Old man, why are you scolding her? My granddaughter is tired. What's wrong with putting her feet up? It's not like she's putting them on your head. Vivian, continue putting them up. Don't mind this grumpy old man."
Oliver Tudson was speechless and didn't bother arguing with the old lady.
He poured himself a cup of tea and asked, "Were you busy at the hospital today?"
Vivian said, "Not really, I had a comatose patient who suddenly woke up..."
She jokingly mentioned how George used random acupuncture techniques he learned online, called the "Gate of Ghosts Thirteen Needles," to revive Mia.
Oliver Tudson suddenly froze. Anxiously, he said, "The Gate of Ghosts Thirteen Needles? Tell me more in detail, how did he perform it? Which acupoints did he use?"
Vivian blinked her beautiful eyes. "Grandpa, you don't actually believe that, do you? I've never even heard of the Gate of Ghosts Thirteen Needles."
But after recalling what she saw from her memories, she recounted the specific acupoints George had pressed with his fingers one by one.
With each acupoint mentioned, Oliver Tudson's expression grew more serious. Finally, he slapped his thigh. "The Gate of Ghosts Thirteen Needles, it truly is the Gate of Ghosts Thirteen Needles! This is the legendary revival acupuncture technique! Vivian, quickly, contact him for me. Grandpa wants to meet this young man."
"Ah?"
Vivian's mouth hung open, unable to close for a while.
