Chapter 76 A Big Fight

I was very curious about what Jane was looking at, so I zoomed in on the screen, still confused.

Then I heard Jane ask, "Where did you get that?"

Lily, looking smug, raised her hand to touch her neck and said sweetly, "Mr. Hall gifted me this necklace, declaring me the most endearing individual he knows. Additionally, he furnished me with two clothing ensembles, advising against a lackluster appearance within the company."

After saying that, she waved the shopping bag in her hand, "Mr. Hall took me shopping, so we came back late. He said he wouldn't be back for dinner."

Jane was really furious now. She was still holding the Mason and slapped Lily without hesitation.

I could feel the force of that slap because I saw Jane's body, holding the Mason, shake violently. Mason almost flew out of her arms, and I screamed in fright.

Luckily, Mason was holding onto Jane's neck at that moment, so he didn't fall.

But he was also scared by the sudden movement and started crying immediately.

In a moment of astonishment, it dawned upon me the imperative need to direct my attention more steadfastly towards the child. Despite Mason's tender age, it became evident that should Jane persist in her current caregiving role, adverse consequences would inevitably befall him.

Lily was stunned by the slap. She instinctively covered her face and instantly became furious.

With lightning speed, she gave Jane a loud slap in return, which was definitely not lighter than Jane's.

To be precise, her action was steady, accurate, and ruthless!

And she moved so fast that I couldn't even see what happened on the surveillance footage.

Jane went crazy. She put Mason on the couch and then lunged at Lily. They started wrestling immediately.

Mason was so scared that he cried his heart out on the couch. I was so angry that I almost went downstairs, forgetting that I was watching the surveillance footage.

I watched Mason crying his eyes out, my heart aching, but even so, Jane and Lily were still immersed in their fight, showing no signs of stopping.

The sound of slaps echoed continuously, along with their angry curses.

Jane probably vented all her afternoon's anger on Lily. She fought wildly, showing no mercy as if she wasn't hitting her sister.

In the end, Jane emerged victorious. After all, her well-fed, plump body had an advantage over the frail and skinny Lily.

She dismounted Lily, flopped onto the couch, breathing heavily, cradled the wailing Mason in her embrace, and, glaring at the prostrate Lily, spat out, "Listen up, you damn dog! You've got a week to scram voluntarily! If not, don't come crying to me when I show you no mercy."

Lily, lying on the ground weakly, actually started laughing, "Jane, you should ask Mr. Hall if he's willing! You're really cold-blooded. You even hit your mom back then, and now you're hitting me!"

This sentence shocked me greatly. Jane even hit her parents; no wonder she could hit me.

"Would you dare to say another sentence to try?" Jane scolded fiercely.

"Jane, do you really think I'm afraid of you?" Lily propped herself up, her hair disheveled, her face even paler, but her expression was extremely vivid, without a trace of fear.

I had to admit, they were really good at fighting. No one scratched faces, but from the way Lily got up, her injuries were not light.

She struggled to get up, staggered to Jane, and with an evil smile on her pale face, raised her eyebrows and looked at Jane, "Jane, the family in Midwood is still looking for their daughter. Do you think they're stupid? Should I tell them..."

"Lily, bullshit!" Jane gazed upon the menacing and unnerving Lily before her, as if a scorpion's venom had just coursed through her veins.
