Chapter 55 - Fiona’s agreement

Susan's POV.

'Who the hell is P. Syldag?’ I muttered as I reached out for the car keys to drive off to Callister's. That name sounded so unusual, first the abbreviation and next the proper name.

Nothing had me thrilled more as compared to the fact that she hid something from us, from everyone, her actions were clear now, indeed, I just had to meet up with Calli and Jason. By the way, the birthday is coming up in a few days, so it was time for us to act. Even if she didn't want to come through, she had to believe she was the Luna of the pack and show up at least.

Just as I had the keys and walked downstairs I received news.

“Good morning My Lady.”

That was Helene, one of the maidservants.

“And yes, how about that? Seems you love my name?”

She smiled at me but never knew I had no time for such people of low standards and class.

“Are you alright? Are you insane? What is a smile for?”

“My apologies my lady.”

“So what is it?”

“There's someone here to see you, she's at the door, and she…”

Just before she completed her statement, I saw Callister walk Into the living room with her eyes fixated on the portraits of our grandfather which hung on the wall.

“Calli?”

She now had her head up and stared at me in smiles.

“Susan!”

I rushed to her point and gave her a big hug.

“I was about to drive to your place now.”

“What? You would have called, I was actually at Jason's, slept over at his”.

“Mhmm?” I smiled at her knowing she just had a full two-hour threesome with Jason and his brother, Jacob.

I observed her looking around now and observed.

“What is it Calli?”

“Where is she?”

“She? You mean like the actual villain she?”

“Oh, dear God, who else would I refer to as 'the she' if not our own she?”

I laughed at how ironic she was.

“Well, she, our she, isn't around now, she went off a few minutes ago.”

“Hmm, so what's in for me here? Did you guys prepare any delicious meals for breakfast?”

“Uh? Calli… you should have known our house by now, we're like amongst the top richest in the country with several maids and manservants, we are also the governing council for the DarkVille pack, a pack which is the most feared in this part of the world, what would make you think or rather, believe we wouldn't have something sumptuous for breakfast?”

She smiled at me with her hands in her dark blue jeans pocket. Something magnificent happened just then, Devan walked through and his eyes caught that of Calli, he stopped by and walked towards us.

“Hey, how are you?”

“Oh, my Alpha.” She bent halfway.

“My dear, it's been a while since you came to see your friend.”

“Yes, of course, she's my baby girl.”

“Wow, that's good, she's all yours.”

We all laughed till he kept a sober look as his mood swung.

“I am sorry once again about Jim.”

That changed the course and topic for the day and we felt sober, even though we knew the truth behind his death, it had nothing to do with Gladys.

“It's alright my Lord, most times we just have to accept the fate we weren't to, life happens to us most times.”

“I know my dear, but I promise you this time around we will make sure we get her and have her head for it to be displayed before everyone to see, she has caused us pain and maybe would cause more.”

“Yes, she needs to be found and killed.”

“And yeah, she would. I should be on my way, I have a very important meeting to attend to.”

“It's okay my Alpha.”

He smiled at the rest of us and tickled my cheeks playfully and walked out. He stopped halfway and returned.

“My sister told me you have a birthday party coming up from your house soon, is it?”

“Oh yes, we do, and we would appreciate it if you or your Luna would have to be present at the occasion.”

Now that was the very reason I so loved Calli, one of the smartest personalities I have ever met in my life. She is everything a female would need for a bestie. She made it look easy and fast.

“Yeah, that would be nice, but I don't think I may be present, how about my Luna come to have me represented.”

“That would be awesome my Lord, actually we have made a special reservation for her and also a lot of women who are from my organization have promised to be there just to set their eyes on her.”

“O wow, then you have my word, I'll try to talk to her, you do know she's also a very busy personality like myself, she may also be occupied that very period, but trust me, If she's free, she'll come.”

Why on earth would brother not make this plain, he has the power to command her to leave all she would do and have ours attended to, but it seems she had blindfolded him to see that he was the actual Alpha of the pack and also a notable personality in the country.

“My love...”

What the actual heck? It was no other but Isabel, she walked straight into the living room with Christopher who held a bag in his hands. She had gone to the mall to get some supplies earlier on with him and wow, what timing, we were all together in the same room under the same roof, the reason for the story, I walked to her point and hugged her after she did that to Devan.

“What is going on here?” She asked.

“Hello, Luna.” Calli greeted her.

“Oh, I remember you from the Royal court the other day, right?”

“Yes.”

“Actually it's about the birthday coming up soon.”

“What about it?”

“I just decided on the birthday party, after all. I will be coming.”

Calli and I turned to her in awe.
