Chapter 146
Lorraine was speechless, Avon had just finish explaining to her every single thing she wanted to know.
From the part where his grandma visited, to talking about his bracelet with him and how she was a muse to his powers coming alive.
Avon took his time explaining and narrating to him, how her mother was chosen to become a guardian of the mystical energy, this made her distance herself from her family and her usual life that became something else.
Lorraine was more shocked when Avon narrated to the part where he almost died, it was really the truth that he was shot thrice in the chest, and he still has no idea who shot the gun or ordered for the hits.
He told her how he was brought back by his grandmother and his strange encounter while in the afterlife world.
He had truly obtain the cosmic energy from the afterlife, it was a confusing turn of event for him but he knew something like never before flowed into his body taking shelter and it felt powerful; nothing but powerful.
He woke up only to be told his grandmother sacrificed her life for him.
Avon told her everything, omitting the part where he was threatened by a thousand year old who looks like a boy and fought with him locking him away in a loop on a desert.
Or about the dream where he saw all his enemies, he purposely omitted all not wanting her to be drawn into his chaotic messy life.
He wanted her free and doesn’t want her associating herself with his trouble, because he won’t be able to forgive himself if anything happens to her.
He was able to be trapped because of her today, and she was going to be hurt by the old man if he wasn’t who he is.
“I need to tell you something.” Lorraine spoke up, after much while of silence. Avon a little bit confused on her response, it was a bit off of what he was expecting.
What if she wants to divorce and wants a normal life where she won’t be hunted just so they could get at Avon. He really would understand if that is her reason and would not try to hold her back, but will promise to protect her like he has done all while since they’ve gotten together.
Avon slowly nodded his head, giving her the positivity of a go ahead to talk about what she has to say.
“That man, the one who brought me to you,” She said, reminding him of the old man he fought. Avon nodded again, showing that he is following her explanation.
“I once saw him at the hospital when I was looking to go get some water for my thirty throat. He had even asked me to come with him, say some weird words and then ask me to follow him; but he was weird so I just bail and run. When he called me, I thought it was an old man that needed help, didn’t know he was trying to get me apprehended so you can succumbed.” She explained to him, rolling her eyes at the last line of her words.
“I’m just glad you are okay, I mean he still later took you didn’t he.” Avon closed the gap between them, moving close to her as he pushed the both of them falling to the bed.
“This past few days have been so hectic, so hectic I wasn’t chanced before with my wife. I miss you darling, I miss everything about you.” Avon rasped out in a breathing voice as he got on top of her, snuggling his head over to her neck as he placed a soft kiss on it. His lips pulled off coming in a slight pace to her earlobe. “I need to wash off all that psycho had done to you, did he kiss you when you were with him?” He whispered, asking in her ear before kissing on the air, his rigid arms spread apart and keeping her body under him.
“Please don’t say that, don’t ever talk about him. I’m sorry, but please.”
Lorraine’s eyes shut off tightly, the event would always be a trigger; albeit the deed never happening to her, but she was molested to the point the deed was about happening to her.
There would be nothing left attainable for her if Richard had succeeded raping her, nothing at her because she would end up killing herself.
She won’t be able to take it, and death would be her only option or the easy way out of ever having to deal with everything.
Her virginity she had fantasized to be given to the man she ever loves, and that man is Avon. The reality that he wasn’t the one who took it would shatter her beyond control, even remembering how he had touched her, violated her sexually she still felt worthless and try not to think of the experience because he is now locked away.
Avon doesn’t want to push any button, seeing his statement might have trigger his wife he came off her, laying down on his back beside her and placing her head over his chest to help her calm down.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.” He apologized, his hand pushing through her hair as he began massaging her scalp.
“No this is not your fault. I’m also sorry for reacting that way.” Lorraine also apologized, melting in his embrace and falling deeper into his holds.
She glanced up at him, seeing his handsome face above hers she smiled before hitching closer to capture his lips into a kiss which she did.
Their lips collide, a rush of heat filling her body up as Avon took over the kiss she initiated, pulling her closer with his hand moving down her hair over to her neck while his other hand gripped around her waist. He brought her body sleeping on to his with his legs spread apart so their below could meet collide as well.
He yearned for more entrance which Lorraine gladly gave, opening her mouth for him to devour as his tongue swirled in and deeper savoring each other’s taste that sent their inside on fire, exploding to a brim they have their hands all over each other.
Lorraine moved her hip, grinding it on the monster length that bulge out of the trouser pucking her entrance.
The moment was soon interrupted by the ringtone set for Lorraine’s phone. It was coming from her pocket, it vibrated against her body; and it is until now she realized she had a phone in her pocket.
They lapsed separating from each other, Lorraine pulled entirely away bringing out her phone to see it was her mother calling her.
She became more interested in the call picking it up quickly, “Hello,” she spoke into the phone firstly, sounding anxious about something in Avon’s ears.
He was freaking hard and he could only curse whoever that called from interrupting this moment of him getting it done with her again.
He has been fantasizing it for awhile, and it would make a lot of sense if he actually act it out with her since they’re both married and in love.
“Okay I’m on my way.” Lorraine ended the call, her reply not sitting well with Avon as he sat up the bed from his laying position.
“Who was that?” He inquired, hiding his disappointment as he rubbed his face all over for no reason.
“That’s my mom and she just called to inform me that Faye is out of surgery room. I need to return back to the hospital, Faye is sick like I told you.” Lorraine said to him, informing him as she stood up preparing to start going.
“Yeah. What kind of sickness though? I mean she was okay at the party wasn’t she, how did she end up in an operation room later?” Avon also stood up, deciding to accompanying her to the hospital.
He won’t be doing anything else today until tomorrow, where he would take on another great family of the five. The Parkers are gone, and the next are The Stones; The Wilsons are going to enjoy a bit of punishment before they would meet their end. The city would be buzzing right now about them, they should have confessed to the security services about their crimes by now.
Avon and his wife hopped in a car driving back to the city’s hospital with no escort or guard following them.
Few paparazzi walking by or there for another celebrity saw Avon and his wife pulled over, they went to them throwing different questions that Avon snubbed because he doesn’t have the answer.
The public was now seeing him more often with Lorraine. They arrived at the ward, walking inside the room that emanates nothing but negative energy.
Lorraine stepped inside looking through everyone’s face and trying to find the reason behind their sadness. Faye was now laid on the bed looking paled as ever.
“What’s going on?” Lorraine had to ask, even if her mind is already telling her it is what she think it is; but she refused to believe it and rather hear something positive from her mother instead or Jeffrey or Uncle Oscar.
None were looking happy or positive, the negative aura they emitted is mega red.
“The surgery was done and the doctor said there still no hope for Faye. The tumor is bigger than he thought.” Charlotte voiced out, telling her the reason why solemnity lingers through the background.
Lorraine immediately broke into tears.
